Hello. It's Day 2.
When you learn new phrasal verbs,
you're learning new vocabulary.
Don't just study the definitions.
Try using the new phrasal verbs.
One good form of practice
is to come up with your own examples.
What does this phrasal verb mean?
That could be something physical
that we could see or touch,
or it could be just an idea.
So a second definition is
to get an idea for something.
come up with the money = produce the money
come up with a plan = create a plan
The object goes after the second particle.
When is your best friend's birthday?
Could you come up with some possible gift ideas?
Do you remember the phrasal verb from Day 1?
And what does it mean?
Let's review both phrasal verbs through an example.
