字幕表 動画を再生する 英語字幕をプリント My first semester here I had a dirt bike accident and it resulted in two surgeries within a year's time. And because of that I couldn't -- I couldn't practice on my machine, my stenograph machine. So what I did was instead of wasting semesters waiting to heal, I just took some academics that I knew that I would need to take at some point just to get them out of the way. And so, you know, I -- I see obstacles as not something that you necessarily need to get over, but you have to be able to find a way around them. And, you know, whether it's by figuring it out yourself or asking others, you know, how do I get around this, you just do whatever you need to do to get where you want to be. You know, just coming -- just coming from high school, you know, I wasn't satisfied, you know, with what I did. And I guess that the big step was what I had to overcome is saying, "Okay. I'm going to move down to California. I'm going to leave Seattle, what happened in high school behind me, and I'm going to move forward, progress from there on out." I think being that I was from one of the military and I haven't been in the school environment since high school, I had to readjust back to the demands of -- um -- school as far as like scheduling -- um -- planning my courses, what courses to take, and -- um -- basically being a student again. Like, I have to readjust with -- rather than going to work and then coming home and then that's it. I have to come home study, do homework, whatever it may be.
