明日からスラッグの仕事が始まる。

Bug glugs hot chocolate from a mug, then snuggles up inside his rug.

虫はマグカップでホットチョコレートを飲み、絨毯の中でくつろぐ。

Bug hugs his bear.

虫はクマを抱きしめる。

He starts to nap.

彼は昼寝を始める。

Then he hears barking.

すると、吠える声が聞こえた。

Yap, yap, yap.

ヤップ、ヤップ、ヤップ。

Loud party music shakes the wall.

大音量のパーティー音楽が壁を揺らす。

Below, a baby starts to bawl.

赤ん坊が泣き出す。

Bug plugs his ears, but all too soon.

虫は耳を塞ぐが、あまりにも早すぎる。

Owl is hooting at the moon.

A car alarm adds to the row.

Bug yawns, his eyes feel sore.

He plods to work at Slug's Rug store.

Sell those thick rugs while I am out.

Quick march, shouts Slug, don't stand about.

I feel so sleepy now, thinks Bug.
