It means you are going to do it.

やるということだ。

It means you are serious about doing it, it means that you are committed to doing it.

The best example I could come up with today, even though I don't like to be political is to say that President Trump is bound and determined to put tariffs on Mexico and China and Canada.

Uh, that means I'm most likely going to buy a cookie.

But uh, I did make a decision, um, at the beginning of this year, 2025, that I am going to try and stick to putting out the same number of lessons every week on both channels.

When I looked at 2024, I realized that there were many weeks where I just took a week off.

Uh, for a couple of reasons.

One, when I looked at my stats from last year, when I looked at my, um, my views and everything from 2024, I realized that, um, it's probably disappointing when a video doesn't come out.
