As you know, like for many Taiwanese people, they face a problem when they listen to Indian accent, when they communicate with the Indian people.

ご存知のように、多くの台湾人がそうであるように、インド訛りを聞くとき、インド人とコミュニケーションをとるときに問題に直面する。

So in today's class I'm going to read something in Indian accent and you need to decode what I'm speaking about.

今日の授業では、私がインド訛りの文章を読みますので、私が何を話しているのか読み解いてください。

The topic is about night market and now I'm going to read it in typical Indian accent.

ナイトマーケットについてのトピックだが、典型的なインド訛りで読んでみよう。

So what you need to do is you need to try understanding what I'm talking about, how I make the pronunciation with the words.

Night market are a good place which people like to visit both Taiwanese and tourists enjoy going to this place, especially foreigners.

People can find something special there in night markets.

人々はナイトマーケットで何か特別なものを見つけることができる。

Visitors can enjoy shopping, find exotic foods and learn about some foreign cultures.

観光客はショッピングを楽しみ、エキゾチックな食べ物を見つけ、外国の文化について学ぶことができる。

First at all, at night market is a cultural place where visitors can find traditional Taiwanese culture.

まず、夜市は台湾の伝統文化を知ることができる文化的な場所である。

The oldest night market in Taiwan is Huaxi Street.

台湾で最も古い夜市は華西街だ。

In Huaxi, we can eat the food which are old and special.

華西では、古くて特別な料理を食べることができる。

Snake meat is one example.

ヘビ肉はその一例だ。

We can drink snake blood and eat snake meat, which is believed to be good to our body.

私たちは蛇の血を飲んだり、蛇の肉を食べたりすることができる。

Therefore when tourists come to Huaxi, they always try it.

そのため、観光客が華西に来ると、必ずこれを試す。

Secondly, we can find some exotic foreign foods from other countries.

第二に、他国のエキゾチックな食べ物を見つけることができる。

I think there are two most popular foreign foods in the night markets.

夜市で最も人気のある外国料理は2つあると思う。

One is Japanese takoyaki, which can be found in Shilin night market.

ひとつは日本のたこ焼きで、士林夜市にある。

The other is the Korean dish kimchi rice cake.

もうひとつは韓国料理のキムチ餅だ。

No matter adults or children, they like to eat it.

大人も子供も関係なく、好んで食べる。

Kimchi rice cake is a little spicy and a little sore.

キムチ餅はちょっと辛くて、ちょっと痛い。

People can stop eating it once they taste its special flavor.

その特別な風味を味わえば、食べるのを止めることができる。

People usually need to stand in line to buy kimchi rice cake.

キムチ餅を買うのに行列ができる。

I think it is good to eat in winter.

冬に食べるのがいいと思う。

Finally, a night market is a good place for shopping.

最後に、ナイトマーケットはショッピングに最適な場所だ。

When tourists come to night market, they may discover something special.

観光客が夜市に来ると、何か特別なものを発見するかもしれない。

If they like some goods, they can spend a little time, little money to get them.

気に入った商品があれば、それを手に入れるために少しの時間とお金を使うことができる。

Many people ask me why the night market is a good place for shopping.

なぜ夜市が買い物に適しているのか、と多くの人が私に尋ねる。

I told them because it is convenient when I am tired from walking, I can take a rest and eat something delightful there.

歩き疲れたときに休憩できるし、そこで何か食べられるから便利なんだ。

This is the reason why I like to shop at night markets.

これが私が夜市で買い物をする理由だ。

To sum up, people can get many things in the night markets where they can buy traditional and foreign objects and enjoy various kinds of foods.

まとめると、人々は夜市で伝統的なものや外国のものを買い、様々な種類の食べ物を楽しむことができる。

There is no denying that I like to go to night markets.

夜市に行くのが好きなのは否定しない。

Nevertheless, I always spend too much time there.

とはいえ、私はいつもそこで時間を使いすぎてしまう。

I don't know whether it is good for me or not, but I enjoy many great foods and the cultural stuff there.

体にいいのか悪いのかわからないが、多くの素晴らしい食べ物や文化的なものを楽しんでいる。
