  • We're in New York City!

  • ?

  • I don't know if you can tell, but it's snowing!

  • It's the first day of snow today in New York City.

  • It's a cold day.

  • It's the first day where we are...

  • Bumbled up.

  • Bumbled up?

  • No, bundled up.

  • Bundled up.

  • Head to toe.

  • I don't feel anything except for my face and my hands.

  • Everything else is perfect.

  • This is going to be our first Christmas in New York City.

  • And there's no place like being here for the holiday.

  • Today we are having the ultimate Christmas day in New York City.

  • We are going to spend the day today going all over the town, hitting all the activities, all the spots, all the places to eat.

  • First on the itinerary is we gotta eat.

  • We gotta get some food in, we gotta get some coffee in, all the things so that we're ready for a day out and about.

  • So let's go!

  • Okay, now don't get me wrong.

  • We love a good classic brunch vibe, like a French toast, an Eggs Benedict type thing.

  • But today I'm really craving a classic Jewish deli diner breakfast situation, more of a lunch thing.

  • I want to get some soup, I want to get some bagels.

  • So we're headed over to Russ and Daughters on the Lower East Side.

  • Hopefully it's not going to be too busy because, as I said,

  • New York is popping.

  • Everybody's here.

  • Everybody's going to all the good spots.

  • Everyone wants to do the cute shit we want to do today.

  • Exactly.

  • So it's going to be interesting because I haven't been to Midtown.

  • I haven't seen any of the busy, cute, Christmassy areas.

  • I know they're going to be very busy.

  • Oh yeah.

  • But we'll see how it goes.

  • Hi everyone.

  • We are done.

  • The food, honestly, it's such a vibe in there.

  • It's so cute and cozy and warm and just everything.

  • It was perfect.

  • It's so good.

  • Yeah, it's really good.

  • I'm so excited.

  • Me too.

  • Me too.

  • So right now, we're in New York City.

  • It is Christmas time.

  • It's snowing.

  • How do you feel?

  • And I feel good.

  • You know, there's a lot going on.

  • There's a lot of people.

  • But it's a vibe.

  • Because that's what the holidays are.

  • You know, people are just happy.

  • People are with their families.

  • People are with their kids.

  • And it's hella cute.

  • Right now, we're getting close to the Rockefeller Center, which is always so busy.

  • But I want to give you all the Christmassy vibes.

  • So I'm sacrificing for you guys because I hate crowds.

  • I have a fear of crowds.

  • We did it!

  • Why do I literally feel like a five-year-old right now?

  • Look at the big house.

  • So clean.

  • First person to get in.

  • It would not be a full Christmas holiday in New York City without going ice skating in

  • Central Park.

  • It's just like a must.

  • Okay, now I'm just waiting for Yoni to be done.

  • Skates are on.

  • So crazy because I used to actually be kind of good at this when I was little.

  • Like I would do like one foot at a time.

  • Okay, okay, okay.

  • That's too fast.

  • Okay, that's too fast.

  • If I go down, you go down with me.

  • Look at the city!

  • Yo, I can't feel my feet.

  • I don't know.

  • Yeah, I know.

  • Yo, yo, yo.

  • Cute vibe.

  • It's just so crazy being here ice skating in Central Park because that's so like in my kid head.

  • That's just the thing I always wanted to do, you know?

  • Look at that.

  • So beautiful.

  • So simple but so beautiful.

  • So beautiful.

  • So one more thing that we cannot have an ultimate Christmas day in New York City without is a

  • Christmas market, a holiday market.

  • And there's so many around New York.

  • A lot of people have been saying that the Union Square market is like the best one.

  • So here we are.

  • I've actually never been to this market.

  • I've never been to any holiday market in New York.

  • What are we looking for?

  • Today we're looking for hot chocolate.

  • Yeah, we're looking for hot chocolate.

  • But I think there's going to be some other things that we're going to get because you can't come to the market and only get one thing.

  • That's the point.

  • You come here and you get too many things.

  • We got the ultimate hot chocolate.

  • I've been hearing a lot about this.

  • No chewing allowed hot chocolate.

  • Okay.

  • And they put like chocolate.

  • I don't know.

  • I tried to get it.

  • But it's like chocolate candy or chocolate truffle at the bottom and then hot chocolate on top of that.

  • The chocolate meatness.

  • Oh my god.

  • It's so crazy.

  • Don't exaggerate.

  • I'm actually not.

  • Like I know it sounds like it seems fake.

  • Don't do that thing on YouTube where you try something.

  • I've never had hot chocolate like this before.

  • A little too chocolatey for me.

  • But it is good and it's almost like thick.

  • Yeah.

  • It's so thick that it might be like chocolate pudding.

  • Okay.

  • So this is supposed to be like European style hot chocolate, which usually is thicker and it's less milky and it's very strong in flavor, which is exactly what I like.

  • Yo, you know what?

  • It's really good.

  • It's really good.

  • Why does it say no chewing allowed though?

  • It really tastes like melted chocolate.

  • It tastes like you can chew the chocolate.

  • Yeah, exactly.

  • It tastes like melted chocolate after you bite chocolate and then it melts in your mouth.

  • Yeah.

  • Today is a Thursday and I would highly recommend that you come on a weekday because the weekends you can barely walk.

  • Like at least look, there's like space.

  • Because during the week, during the weekend, it is, it's not like this.

  • We've got some curly truffle cheesy fries.

  • You don't like them?

  • It's not it.

  • No, don't get this guys.

  • It's not bad.

  • Cheesy french fries, I just can never.

  • I think it's pretty good.

  • It's not amazing.

  • It's not amazing.

  • And we come here for only amazing things.

  • So this, if I had to rate it, probably like four out of ten.

  • Honestly.

  • Okay.

  • Yeah.

  • Fair.

  • I would give it a five.

  • I would give it a five.

  • And then I also got some tomato basil soup.

  • Now I'm going to lie to you.

  • You definitely don't come as much for the food as you come for the vibes.

  • Some people did say that the sweets are a little bit better.

  • So maybe we'll get like one sweet thing.

  • The hot chocolate so far is the best thing we've had.

  • Got a little hot apple cider with some whipped cream and cinnamon.

  • I was really craving some whipped cream.

  • It's really hot.

  • That's like this right here.

  • Hot apple cider after everything you eat at the market is where it's at.

  • It's like a palate cleanser, you know?

  • What would you need after this?

  • No, after this, I'm done.

  • Like after this, I'm going to bed.

  • It's good, right?

  • It's like the perfect ending.

  • This is the end of our outing for the day.

  • We've reached capacity of how far we can stay outside.

  • I feel like my stomach is like, we tried so many different things.

  • I don't know what's going on in here.

  • Yeah, it's like mixing so many different like hot chocolate and then fries and then tomato soup and then apple cider.

  • We'll find out tomorrow.

  • So we're going to be heading home now.

  • Do you want to walk?

  • I am watching Elf and I'm in bed.

  • I am so, so cozy right now.

  • We got a projector.

  • So we got Elf going on.

  • It's like this season, there aren't a lot of movies.

  • Let me turn it down.

  • There aren't a lot of like great holiday movies available on streaming.

  • Home Alone, I was trying to watch that.

  • Holiday, which is like my favorite, all-time favorite Christmas movie, not available.

  • But I'm just munching on these.

  • These are Trader Joe's peppermint pretzel slims.

  • Love.

  • Like I'm not even a peppermint person, but I love these.

  • And I'm also drinking some tea.

  • And I am pretty much ready for bed.

  • And I just wanted to say that I hope you felt the holiday spirit through this video.

  • I hope that it's getting you excited for Christmas and the holidays.

  • And also, I must say that I am very surprised at how excited I actually got when we were like around Rockefeller Center and just walking around.

  • I tend to romanticize a lot of different things from like movies and especially, you know, living in New York.

  • But I must tell you that I felt so genuinely happy and like I just felt genuine joy around being outside and being around the city and seeing all the decorations.

  • And I don't know why it just has this effect on me.

  • And I've always loved the holidays growing up.

  • I don't know.

  • It's just one of those times a year where you get to be a kid again and you get to just feel the joy and the cheer in little things like that and be cozy and drink all the hot chocolate.

  • And I don't know.

  • It's just it's a great time.

  • I am going to continue my lovely evening.

  • I hope you guys enjoyed this video and you felt all the holiday vibes and all the holiday cheer emanating through the screen as you're watching this.

  • Thank you for watching.

  • See you guys next week.

  • Happy Holidays!

We're in New York City!
