So today is my first day of law school orientation and I don't know why, but I'm feeling so nervous.

今日はロースクールのオリエンテーションの初日で、なぜかわからないけどすごく緊張している。

I know some of you guys were confused in the comments about me switching schools, so I wanted to quickly clarify that.

コメントで、僕が転校したことについて混乱している人がいたのは知っているから、すぐにそれをはっきりさせたかったんだ。

Basically in America, how it works is after you graduate from four years of college, if you want to become a lawyer, you have to go through three years of law school.

基本的にアメリカでは、4年間の大学を卒業した後、弁護士になりたければ3年間のロースクールに通わなければならない。

Basically I just graduated from college this spring and I will be going directly into law school.

基本的に私はこの春大学を卒業したばかりで、そのままロースクールに進学する予定です。

I just realized that tomorrow morning I have a mock class and for that class we're supposed to be reading a case beforehand.

今気づいたんだけど、明日の朝、模擬授業があるんだけど、その授業では事前にケースを読むことになっているんだ。

Even though it's just a mock class, it's not going to be graded or anything, but I'm really scared of getting cold called and I do have a feeling that the professor is going to do some cold calling just to get everyone prepared.

ただの模擬授業だから、採点も何もされないけど、コールドコールされるのは本当に怖いし、教授も皆の心の準備をさせるためにコールドコールしてくるような気がする。

So yeah, I don't want to be that person on the very first day that doesn't know the answers, so.

だから、初日から答えを知らないような人間にはなりたくないんだ。

Okay, so we are reading one complete, two, three, and four.

さて、1完、2完、3完、4完と読んでいるところだ。

And the time is right before midnight.

時間は真夜中直前だ。

Because here, they are, AMC Theatres, we make movies better.

なぜなら、ここAMCシアターズは、映画をより良くする会社だからだ。

So that's what I like about our pension.

それが私たちの年金のいいところなんだ。

It's like we only have to hang out once a year and it's fine.

We actually don't want to see each other.

More than once a year is too much.

So right now we're headed to Gentle Monster to check out some glasses because I've been picking up to splurge on myself as a little back to school, law school treat.

だから今、ジェントル・モンスターにメガネをチェックしに行くところなんだ。

And I've been using the same pair of glasses since high school, so I think it's time for an upgrade.

高校時代からずっと同じメガネを使っているから、そろそろアップグレードの時期だと思うんだ。

I think so too.

I feel like a nerd.

So this is option one, and these are in the same color, but different shape.

I really like how these look, but I'm worried that it's going to give me a headache.
