This set is suitable for knitting small circumferences like hats, socks, sleeves, or baby items.

このセットは帽子、靴下、袖、ベビー用品など、外周が小さいものを編むのに適している。

Before when I need to knit small circumferences project like hats or sleeves, I always use magic loop method or DPNs, and never feel the need to purchase one.

以前は、帽子や袖のような小周りのプロジェクトを編む必要があるときは、いつもマジックループ方式かDPNを使っていたので、購入の必要性を感じることはなかった。

Until a few months ago, KnitPro contacted me, asked me if there's any set I'm interested in, and I thought, okay, let's give this Mini Interchangeable Needle Set a go.

数ヶ月前まで、ニットプロから連絡があり、何か興味のあるセットはないかと聞かれたので、よし、このミニ交換針セットを試してみようと思った。

So today we are going to have a closer look of this set, and how I feel about knitting with this Mini Needle Set.

そこで今日は、このセットを詳しく見て、このミニ針セットで編むことについて私がどう感じているかを紹介しよう。

My first impression of this set is the case is very well made.

このセットの第一印象は、ケースがとてもよくできていることだ。

You can see the stitches are very tidy, and I cannot see any loose thread of the stitches here.

縫い目がとても整然としているのがわかるだろう。

The materials with the brown section is washable paper, and then the blue, of course, is denim fabric.

茶色の部分は洗える紙で、青はもちろんデニム生地だ。

The overall design is very clean, very comfortable to look at, and it fits the overall aesthetic design.

全体的なデザインはとてもクリーンで、見ていてとても心地よく、全体的な美的デザインに合っている。

So it's with a magnetic button, and inside you got two compartments.

マグネットボタン付きで、中には2つのコンパートメントがある。

The first one contains two cables, and with these two cable needles, you can make 27 to 30 centimeter circumferences.

1本目はケーブルが2本入っており、この2本のケーブル針で27～30センチの円周を作ることができる。

You got some accessories here.

ここにアクセサリーがあるよ。

You have two tightening key, four end cups.

締め付けキーが2つ、エンドカップが4つある。

So the second one, it contains all the needles, and the needles is neatly put it in another case.

2つ目は、すべての針が入っていて、針は別のケースにきちんと収納されている。

This set contains seven sets of 15 millimeter needle tips.

このセットには15ミリの針先が7セット入っている。

So it's including three, 3.5, four, 4.5, five, 5.5, and six millimeter needles.

3ミリ、3.5ミリ、4ミリ、4.5ミリ、5ミリ、5.5ミリ、6ミリの針が含まれるわけだ。

With the needle design, you can see this beautiful indigo wood color.

針のデザインで、この美しい藍色の木の色を見ることができる。

The color indigo is known for promote a feeling of serenity, which is all we need when we knit in a project.

藍色は静寂をもたらす色として知られ、編み物をするときに必要な色だ。

The wood itself is very polished, so it feels very smooth, and there's no snug feeling between the wood and the joint of the metal part.

木そのものがとても磨かれているので、とても滑らかな感触で、木と金属部分の接合部の間にぴったりとした感触はない。

To join the needle on the cable, you just simply screw on it, and then you can bring out your tightening key to tighten the needle.

ケーブルに針をつなぐには、単にねじ込むだけで、あとは締め付けキーを出して針を締めればいい。

And when you twist, remember hold the metal part here.

そしてひねるときは、ここの金属部分を持つことを忘れない。

Don't hold this part, the beginning of the part, because there's a joint here.

この部分、つまり冒頭の部分を持ってはいけない、ここにジョイントがあるからだ。

So you just hold this part, and then tighten it to the other direction.

だから、この部分を持って、反対方向に締めるだけだ。

Then we can join the other side with the same way.

そうすれば、反対側にも同じ方法で合流できる。

The joint itself is very smooth as well, so it's very easy to move the stitches around.

継ぎ目自体もとても滑らかなので、ステッチを動かすのがとても簡単です。

And the overall design is very beautiful.

全体的なデザインもとても美しい。

You got an indigo color blue here, with this dark blue cable.

藍色のブルーに、この濃いブルーのケーブル。

It just fits the whole aesthetic.

全体の美学に合っているんだ。

So personally, I have used this set to knit sleeves already, and I have to say I really like it.

だから個人的には、このセットですでに袖を編んでいる。

Before, when I use magic loop, I always need to stop in the halfway, and then move all the stitches to the other side of the needle.

以前はマジックループを使うとき、いつも途中で止めて、それからすべてのステッチを針の反対側に移動させる必要があった。

And overall, it just takes more time to do it.

それに、全体的に時間がかかる。

And with DPNs, again, you need to keep changing the needles, and then it's a bit more fiddly.

そしてDPNでは、やはり針を交換し続けなければならない。

I really can just enjoy the knitting process, and then just continuously knitting in a round.

私は本当にただ編む過程を楽しみ、そしてひたすら丸編みを続けることができる。

And it just makes knitting those small circumferences really enjoyable to work with.

そのおかげで、小さな円周を編むのが本当に楽しくなる。

Apart from that, because this set comes with two different cable lengths, so in the halfway of the sleeve, you can just change the length of the cable, and then you can continue to knit to the end of the sleeve.

それとは別に、このセットには2種類のケーブルの長さが付属しているので、袖の途中でケーブルの長さを変えれば、あとは袖の終わりまで編み続けることができる。

So the whole process is just faster and easier to work with.

だから、プロセス全体がより速く、より簡単になった。

One thing you need to think about is, because the circumference is very small to work, so if your hands are a little bit bigger, then you might need to take some time to get used to it.

1つ考えておかなければならないのは、円周が非常に小さいので、手が少し大きい人は慣れるのに時間がかかるかもしれない。

But once you get used to the feel of the small circumferences, it's really enjoyable to work with these needles.

しかし、ひとたび小さな円周の感触に慣れてしまえば、この針で作業するのは本当に楽しい。

Another thing is the case is very small, so you can easily put it in your project bag and carry it around with you.

もうひとつは、ケースがとても小さいので、プロジェクトバッグに入れて簡単に持ち運べることだ。
