Because this energy is created by natural sources like the sun and the wind, which are not exhausted when they're used.

なぜなら、このエネルギーは太陽や風といった自然の源から生み出されるものであり、使用しても枯渇することはないからだ。

They don't produce any pollution either, right?

公害も出さないんでしょう？

Correct!

その通りだ！

That's why they're also called clean energy.

だからクリーンエネルギーとも呼ばれる。
