So we're gonna go find some gold themed foods.

And right now, as you can see, we're in a really traditional area and we're in a district which is where all the Geisha used to work over 200 years ago.

Oh my God, we came to, it's one of the biggest gold leaf manufacturers and it's right in the middle of Higashi chaya and we've got this gold ice cream where they put like a sheet of gold on it and it costs about 900 like almost Kendall ice cream.

I've always wanted to try gold leaf things, but I just want to try gold itself, wow, Maybe you should do that.

金箔のものはやってみたいと思っていましたが、金そのものをやってみたいだけなんですww そうすればいいのかもしれませんね。

You can taste the metal on your teeth, you can get 24 karat.

They actually encouraged that they have like hashtags and the stuff like get your video camera ready because we're pouring.

We got some Tako Yaki, which is not the first food I would think of to be gold leafed, but we are, what they do here is they prepare the hockey as usual.

タコヤキをいただきました。金箔を貼るような食べ物はまず思いつきませんが、ここはどうするかというと、普通にホッケを調理しています。

But Then when they're finished, they've got this like sheet of gold.

でも、完成すると、まるで金色のシートのようになるんです。

The same one that we've been seeing everywhere like the ice cream and just carefully ever so carefully place it on top.

アイスクリームと同じようにどこでも見かけるもので、今まで丁寧に乗せていくだけです。

But you have to be careful because like any kind of like wind movement or air like really affects the way that this place.

しかし、注意しなければならないのは、風の動きや空気は、この場所のあり方に大きな影響を与えるということです。

And also these takayuki looks super soft, very like usually I feel like they're a little bit harder.

It's like a pretty common thing in japan, especially around tourist areas.

So if you want to eat something, go into the shop, eat it and come back out and keep on walking.

So, in Kanazawa, this area is famous for having lots of geisha houses, but they're not called geisha here.

They're called gigi.

So if you come here, the first of them is gigi, I'd love to see one here.

Maybe next time we have arrived at kim Pakiya Sakoda, which is a place where we're gonna be using gold leaf to decorate some things that we choose.

We have to basically carve out of shape in masking tape and then we're in the space we're gonna put gold.

So it looks easier than it actually is getting.

So I'm gonna be making, it's just a little box and I'm gonna be doing a design on the lid.

I'm going to be making my own chopsticks that I can eat at home with.

So I'm excited and I chose to use for the makeup.

It's great weather even though it's autumn chopsticks, these ice creams are served on chopsticks and you get to keep the other chopsticks so you get a set, which is so cute.
