North Carolina which is not too far from the Great Smoky Mountains on the other side.

ノースカロライナ州は、グレートスモーキー山脈の反対側で、それほど遠くはない。

Uh so I came from Gatlinburg Tennessee and then came over the mountain and then down to the North Carolina side.

テネシー州のガトリンバーグから、山を越えてノースカロライナ州側に降りてきたんです。

And now I'm staying in Maggie Valley.

そして今、私はマギーバレーに滞在しています。

I actually like this area a lot better than I did in Gatlinburg because Gatlinburg was so chaotic for me.

ガトリンバーグは私にとってとても混沌としていたので、実はこのエリアはガトリンバーグよりもずっと好きなんです。

This is like the total opposite where it's like complete silence and just like peaceful.

これは、まったく逆の意味で、完全な静寂と平和のようなものです。

There's even a creek that you have access to which we just checked out.

小川にもアクセスできるので、先ほどチェックしてきました。

It's so nice to have um different access points where you can see the creek, you know either by the pool or in the back and they have nice benches and chairs and even a bench swing back there.

小川を見ることができるアクセスポイントがいくつかあるのはとてもいいことだと思います。

They also have like a barbecue area too.

また、バーベキュー場もあるようです。

So if you have your own food you can cook your food there and you know sit by the creek and have your dinner or lunch or whatever it is.

食材があれば、そこで調理して、小川のほとりで夕食や昼食をとることができます。

So this motel obviously hasn't renovated.

つまり、このモーテルは明らかに改装していないのです。

It kind of reminds me of the hotel I stayed at in Tucson Arizona.

なんだか、アリゾナ州ツーソンで泊まったホテルを思い出しますね。

I think it was called McCoy's I think anyway it's kind of the same concept that they had in Tucson.

マッコイズという名前だったと思いますが、とにかくツーソンにあったのと同じようなコンセプトの店なんです。

It was a motel that they renovated into like this nice vintage style hotel and so they renovated and upgraded everything and it looks really nice.

モーテルを改装して、ヴィンテージ風の素敵なホテルにしました。

Um so let me give you a tour so starting off we're in room number 10 which is on the corner.

では、案内しましょう。まず、角にある10番の部屋からです。

Uh so that up there is where the offices and then just right around the corner is where we're staying at room number 10.

その上がオフィスで、そのすぐ近くに私たちの泊まっている10号室があります。

My car is right up front there and then right when you walk in there is a nice sitting area for you to have your meal and they have some info in here.

私の車は正面にあり、入ってすぐのところに食事をするための素敵なシッティングエリアがあります。

Um restaurants, pizza.

あのレストラン、ピザ。

So good.

とても良い。

I might have to get some pizza delivered but okay see open Wednesday through sunday.

ピザを配達してもらわないといけないかもしれませんが、水曜日から日曜日まで営業しているので大丈夫です。

A lot of them are not open Mondays here for whatever reason I'm staying on a monday.

ここはなぜか月曜日は営業していないところが多いので、私は月曜日に泊まることにしています。

Uh So yeah so they have all this info here also you use a key to get into your room.

あ、そうそう、この情報は全部ここにあって、部屋には鍵で入るんですよ。

So if you have to check out early before the office opens then you just drop it into the box to the right of the office which I'm probably gonna have to do.

だから、もしオフィスが開く前に早くチェックアウトしなければならない場合は、オフィスの右側にある箱に投函すればいいんだ。

And here is a lovely king size bed.

そして、こちらが素敵なキングサイズベッド。

This will be nice for me and kuma to sleep on.

これなら、私とkumaが寝ても大丈夫。

I hope it's very comfortable.

とても快適だといいのですが。

It seems comfy.

I read reviews that the beds are pretty comfortable so it's good.

Um Some outlets there on USB ports also an envelope for the housekeeping.

If you want to leave a tip kuma is guarding the door over there.

And then over here are the vintage refrigerator and microwave.

そして、こちらにはヴィンテージの冷蔵庫と電子レンジが。

I should have bought the pizza that um I had left over from Gatlinburg.

ガトリンバーグで食べたピザが残っていたので、買ってくればよかった。

I think it would last because I was still driving hours before I got here so well.

ここに来る前も何時間も運転していたので、よく続くと思います。

But they do have a freezer which I like.

でも、冷凍庫があるのがいいですね。

So then I can put my ice packs in there and the fridge, you know, it's a good size fridge.

冷蔵庫には氷嚢を入れられるし、大きさもちょうどいいんです。

I could put my drinks in there and pull it down.

そこに飲み物を入れて引っ張ればいいんです。

Uh up here they give you two bottles of water some coffee morning blend.

この辺りでは、水が2本と、モーニングブレンドのコーヒーが配られるんだ。

No, I like the artwork that they included in here, vintage poster of the Great Smoky Mountains.

いや、ここに収録されている、グレートスモーキーマウンテンのヴィンテージポスターというアートワークが好きなんです。

So this is the area where you can store some of your stuff and hang up your clothes.

そのため、このエリアには荷物をある程度収納し、洗濯物を干すことができます。

They provide a luggage rack.

荷物棚を用意している。

And I also like that.

また、それが好きなんです。

They provide an extra blanket.

余分な毛布を提供してくれるのです。

The last two hotels I stayed at did not provide extra blankets and I needed it.

過去に宿泊した2つのホテルでは、追加の毛布が用意されていなかったので、必要だったのです。

I cannot control the temperature correctly.

正しい温度コントロールができない。

So it's kind of cold and this bathroom is super cool.

だから、ちょっと寒いし、このバスルームは超カッコいいんです。

I love the pink.

ピンクが好きです。

I'm wondering if this was the original, you know, design and they just kept it as is if it is.

これが当初の、あの、デザインで、もしそうならそのままにしたのだろうかと思うのです。

I absolutely love it.

絶対に好きです。

And over here, I love this thing.

そして、こっちは、これが大好きなんです。

It's an old school personal hygiene and cleanliness dispenser.

昔からある個人の衛生・清潔を保つためのディスペンサーです。

And they provide looks like some, it looks high end these toiletries looks really nice.

そして、見た目も高級そうなアメニティグッズを提供しています。

So it's a good touch.

だから、手触りがいいんです。

And some makeup removers love that little sink and yeah, that's about it in the room, but I'm digging it.

メイク落としは、あの小さなシンクがお気に入りです。

So, as I mentioned, I went outside a little bit.

そこで、先ほども言いましたが、少し外に出てみました。

Excuse me.

失礼します。

Excuse me, what is your deal mr what is going on?

すみません、あなたの取引はどうなっているのですか？

No.

いいえ。

Okay, so as I mentioned earlier I went outside and checked it out.

さて、それで先程のように外に出て確認しました。

There is a playground out there.

外には遊び場がある。

There's also a pool behind that And you can access the creek from that side or you can go around the back there and look at the creek as well.

その裏にはプールもあり、そちらから小川にアクセスすることもできますし、裏側に回って小川を眺めることもできます。

Also they're pet friendly.

また、ペットにも優しい。

So the pet fee here is $25 which is very fair.

だから、ここのペット料金は25ドルで、とても公平なんです。

A lot of places, you know, I think the average price is like 50-70 five.

多くのところはね、平均価格が50～70 5みたいな感じだと思うんだ。

It all depends but 25 is on the cheaper side for sure.

人それぞれですが、25は確実に安い方です。

Alright, so that's about it for my room tour and review here.

さて、私のルームツアーとレビューはこのくらいにします。

I'm only staying here for one night.

一泊しかしないけど。

So um I don't get to experience the full experience, you know, of like enjoying the creek a little bit more plus it was raining earlier.

だから......もっと小川を楽しみたいのに、さっきまで雨が降っていたせいで、十分に体験できないんだ。

So all the chairs and benches are kind of wet, which is a bummer, but it was nice to see the creek, you know, nearby.

だから、椅子やベンチは全部濡れてしまっていて、残念なのですが、小川が近くにあるのは、いいことですね。

The pool actually is a decent size I would say, and like I said, I like the little art installations, little touches of, you know, like the vintage stuff that they put out like the car, the old gas station.

プールは適度な大きさで、先ほども言ったように、ちょっとしたアート作品や、車や古いガソリンスタンドのようなビンテージもののようなタッチが気に入っているんです。
