Homophones are words that  are pronounced exactly the  

同音異義語とは、全く同じ発音をする単語のことです。

same way. They just have different  spellings and different meanings.

同じようにただ、綴りが違うだけで、意味も違う。

Our homophones today are:

今日の同音異義語は

symbol an object that represents something and cymbal a percussion instrument  

記号は何かを表す物体、シンバルは打楽器

that looks like a metal dish

金皿

So to say these words correctly we have two  beats. Let's start with syllable number one - sim.  

つまり、これらの単語を正しく発音するためには、2つのビートが必要なのです。まず、音節の1番、simから始めましょう。

Pretty easy for this. You're just  going to start with that s sound.  

これはかなり簡単です。このsの音から始めるだけです。

To do this your lips are slightly pulled, back  there's no pucker there, tip of your tongue is

behind the top front teeth, it is not touching. If  it's pointing down a little bit, that's okay too.

and air is going to move out  of your nose. sim sim sim

Next for the bul you're going to start by  closing the lips for the b sound and then
