  • I have a really great team of people. I have an A list team of people I really do. I have

  • the best professionals in the industry working with me. And Thierry, for example, who is

  • the producer behind the show I've worked with him for quite a few seasons now.

  • She was absolutely extraordinary in her will on the way she listens. We have meetings in

  • London with the stylist and her and everything is discussed together and we go from scratch

  • to something then we're building slowly an image.

  • We work very close with each other. Talking about lighting, set design and we go into

  • Fashion show became marketing moment. The guests are professional people. The moment

  • to make them feel at home and then they are all trying to forget what they saw before

  • and discover the collection.

  • We have Pat McGrath doing make up, who is incredible, and Guido doing hair. I didn't

  • want to put too much make up on the girls and so I said to Pat, I want them to have

  • a little bit of make up but I don't want them to look like they're wearing make up. I want

  • it to be very natural and beautiful make up. This season when the girls were coming in

  • for their fittings and for castings they looked fresh, youthful and they looked beautiful.

  • It's always about proportion with me and this season particularly I wanted a long leg, a

  • high hip because I had lots of trousers. So I was very specific about the proportion of

  • the girl.

  • There's something very special about going to the show because is one seeing the clothes

  • on the rail the day after but the show is really the way you present collection to the

  • world.

  • The show being the show is as amazing as you think it would be. The excitement, the adrenaline,

  • the fact that everyone's six months of hard work have come down to that.

  • We progress every season and Victoria pushes us. There is of course an ambition to say

  • something exciting every new season.

  • It's amazing to experience that and I think the whole team sort of get driven off that

  • for the season.

  • It's always quite an emotional time because none of the team or myself have had a lot

  • of sleep, so everybody's very tired, your emotions have been up there, down there. I'm

  • very proud as well, proud of myself, proud of the team and what we've created. It's a

  • big show now, we've come along way from those little presentations we did in the Waldorf

  • Hotel five years ago. It's great and it's very exciting to see certain buyers and certain

  • fashion press that have come on this journey with me and that are continuing on this journey

  • with me and people that if they hadn't been part of my career I wouldn't be where I am

  • now.
