I'm gonna give you a tour of the room that I stayed up for one just one night.

一晩だけ泊まった部屋を案内してあげる。

I only stayed here for one night with my husband and my two pups.

私は夫と2匹の子犬と一緒に一晩だけここに滞在しました。

So when I booked my room I booked a standard room with a king bed.

だから、部屋を予約するときにキングベッドのあるスタンダードルームを予約したんだ。

But when I checked in they upgraded me which is awesome.

でも、チェックインしたら、アップグレードしてくれたので、最高です。

So now I have like an ocean view and the room sizes pretty big which is nice since I have two dogs with me.

オーシャンビューで部屋も広いので、犬を2匹連れている私にとっては嬉しい限りです。

So I'm gonna show you the bedroom first and then I'm gonna show you the bathroom.

では、まずベッドルームを、次にバスルームをお見せしましょう。

So when I walked into the room I was really pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was and I also liked that the view was incredible.

だから、部屋に入ったとき、本当に広くてびっくりしたし、景色が素晴らしいのも気に入りました。

Um It's so nice to be able to see the ocean when you wake up unfortunately.

うーん、残念ながら目覚めたときに海が見えるというのは、とてもいいことですね。

Um I got a little bit unlucky and it's been really cloudy and kind of like, I don't know gloomy but yesterday we had a little bit of sunshine so I'm happy that we got some sunshine yesterday because that was the whole point of coming here was to go to the beach with the dogs.

昨日は少し晴れ間が見えたのでよかったです。

So when you walk in there is which is, this is kind of unique and record player and I did play it um and they have different record players downstairs if you want to get a different one.

店内に入ると、これはちょっとユニークなレコードプレーヤーで、私はそれを再生したのですが、階下には違うレコードプレーヤーが置いてあるので、違うものを手に入れたい人はそちらをどうぞ。

So that's kind of fun.

だから、ちょっと楽しいんです。

I never really had that in a room before.

今まで部屋の中でそんなことはなかったんです。

Here is the snack bar which I never really get anything from the snack bar and there is a fridge and here with more drinks and the hotel did not come with any water but brian and I were celebrating.

ここにはスナックバーがあり、私はスナックバーで何かを買ったことはないのですが、冷蔵庫があり、ここには飲み物があります。

So they actually came up to the room and gave us a bottle of champagne which we put in the fridge because it was still warm and three warm cookies which were so good.

そこで、実際に部屋まで来てくれて、まだ暖かかったので冷蔵庫に入れておいたシャンパンのボトルと、とても美味しかった暖かいクッキーを3つもプレゼントしてくれたのです。

They were huge too.

それも巨大なものだった。

Um So that was really nice.

ええと......それで、本当によかったんです。

This is um you know a little chest here but I don't ever put any clothes in the drawers if I'm only staying for one night because I'm afraid I'm gonna forget stuff and it's just easier to keep it in my suitcase which that's where my stuff is right there now the kimpton is very dog friendly.

これは......小さなチェストなんですが、1泊しかしないときは引き出しに服を入れないんです。忘れ物をしそうで、スーツケースに入れた方が楽だから。

So I did request to have two dog beds that's a little bit too small for my puff.

そのため、私のパフには少し小さめの犬用ベッドを2つ用意してもらうようお願いしました。

But I'm glad that they did have it just in case my pups didn't want to sleep on the bed with me.

でも、仔犬が一緒にベッドで寝るのを嫌がった時のために、持っていてくれてよかったと思います。

But of course they did want to sleep on the bed with me.

でも、もちろん、私と一緒にベッドで寝たいとは思っていましたよ。

So um the two pups slept with us on the king bed.

だから、2匹の子犬はキングベッドで私たちと一緒に寝たんだ。

The bed is nice and spacious.

Um But it's like a sound erase there which I guess it is kind of nice to have if you have trouble sleeping but I had no trouble sleeping last night.

でも、音を消してくれるようなものだから、寝つきが悪い人にはいいかもしれないけど、昨晩は寝つきが悪かったよ。

So it was fine.

だから、大丈夫だったんです。

But I can see why it might be kind of noisy on the weekends because the um you can kind of hear the cars out there a little bit.

でも、週末は車の音が少し聞こえるので、うるさいかもしれませんね。

I mean it's not too bad but um I can see maybe on the weekends it might be loud but I am staying on a week night so it was not busy at all and there's like one chair out there if you wanted to hang out outside on the balcony there is a large tv which we did utilize at night and on the other side of the bed is the phone and I think there's like a no pad and there was no pad in here.

また、ベッドサイドには電話機があり、パッドがないような気がしますが、ここにはパッドがありませんでした。

And this is nice too that they actually give you um a credit or $5 voucher if you kind of skip house cleaning if you stay for more than one day.

また、1日以上滞在する場合、ハウスクリーニングを省略すると、クレジットや5ドル券がもらえるのも嬉しいですね。

So I thought that was really nice.

だから、すごくいいなと思ったんです。

It's kind of an interesting little corner captain.

ちょっと面白いコーナーキャプテンですね。

Really loved this chair and he would sleep in it like all the time.

この椅子が本当に大好きで、いつもこの椅子で寝ていました。

Whenever we come home from outside or a walk he'd jump right on here.

外や散歩から帰ってくると、すぐにここに飛び乗ってくるんです。

He loves that accent chair for some reason and this is the big lamp right here which is a nice touch.

彼はなぜかそのアクセントチェアが大好きで、ここにある大きなランプがいいアクセントになっています。

Still has that surfer theme and here is the desk corner, nice and spacious.

サーファーのテーマはそのままに、広々としたデスクコーナーが素敵です。

My husband actually had a zoom meeting this morning.

実は今朝、夫がズーム会議をしていました。

So it was nice that he had a spot to himself to do his work and get on a call and the wifi here works great.

だから、彼が自分の仕事をしたり、電話をかけたりするために自分だけの場所があるのはいいことだし、ここの無線LANはとてもよく機能しています。

So he had no trouble logging in and going through with this, the zoom meeting, there is a cooler here which you know we didn't need to use some glasses.

だから、彼はログインするのも、このズーム・ミーティングを進めるのも、何の苦労もありませんでした。ここにはクーラーがあり、眼鏡を使う必要はありませんでした。

Um Guestbook, there's like a menu if you want to order breakfast and room more ocean views and I didn't notice this until it was a little bit too late.

あのゲストブック、朝食を頼むとメニューがあるみたいで、部屋からはもっと海が見えて、ちょっと気づくのが遅かったんですけどね。

But they do have social hour here and all kimpton's do have that but usually when I check in they mention it and they didn't mention it when I checked in.

でも、ここにはソーシャルアワーがあり、すべてのキンプトンホテルにあるのですが、通常はチェックインするときにそのことを伝えるのですが、私がチェックインしたときは伝えられませんでした。

So I thought maybe this kimpton didn't have it but apparently they did have it and I missed out but I did get the complimentary coffee and tea this morning.

このキンプトンにはないのかなと思ったら、どうやらあったようで、私は見逃してしまいましたが、今朝はコーヒーと紅茶を無料でいただきました。

They do have the s'mores downstairs.

下にはスモアが置いてあります。

Um there's like fire pits downstairs if you want to do.

階下には焚き火台があるので、やりたい方はどうぞ。

I'm not really a big fan of s'mores so I didn't take advantage of that.

私はスモアがあまり好きではないので、その恩恵にはあずかれなかった。

But yeah, so here's the record player, we did stand on Tuesday night so I wish I would have known about this.

でもね、ここにレコードプレーヤーがあるんだけど、火曜の夜に立ったから、これを知っていればよかったんだけどね。

They had tacos and tequila Tuesday.

火曜日はタコスとテキーラがあったそうです。

So um I shouldn't, well it was at 11 so I guess I wasn't here.

だから......その......11時だったから......来てなかったんだと思う。

We did walk outside and there was an event just walking distance, there was the Tuesday street fair.

外を歩いていると、ちょうど歩いている距離でイベントがあり、火曜日のストリートフェアがあったんです。

So that was pretty cool that that was going on and then there's just like some other information.

それがとてもクールで、他にもいろいろな情報があります。

There is a gym here that has an actual climbing wall which I took a look at it.

ここには実際にクライミングウォールがあるジムがあり、それを覗いてみました。

It looks pretty cool actually, jimmy here is really nice.

実際かなりかっこよく見えますよ、ここのjimmyは本当に素敵です。

So yeah, if you're big into working out while you're at a hotel, this is a great hotel to work out in.

そうそう、ホテルにいる間にワークアウトしたい人には、このホテルは最適なホテルです。

All right, so let me go ahead and take you to the bathroom.

よし、では先にトイレに案内しておこう。

Alright, so the bathroom is super spacious when you walk in, there's a little corner over here where the toilet is nice, nice touch there and then the counter space.

さて、バスルームに入ると、とても広々としていて、トイレのある小さなコーナーがあり、そこにカウンターがあります。

Oh my gosh, I love it.

いやはや、いいですね。

So much counter space.

これだけのカウンタースペースがあるのです。

It's like I need a lot of counter space when I'm at a hotel um to put on my toiletries and stuff.

ホテルのウムでは、アメニティグッズなどを置くために、カウンターのスペースが必要なようです。

So it's a blow dry down there.

だから、下はブロードライなんです。

Extra toilet paper, the blue dryer.

トイレットペーパーの予備、青いドライヤー。

Um it didn't work very well unfortunately and I had really thick hair so it took forever for my hair to dry.

私は髪がとても太いので、髪を乾かすのに時間がかかりました。

So that was a little bit disappointing last night.

だから、昨晩はちょっと残念でしたね。

Um They have lotion cotton Q tips have like this mirror here with the light on this side which is kind of dark in here and I hate putting on makeup when it's dark so the light does help but I wish it was like a little bit right in here but you know, but they have the magnifying mirror which I like to.

化粧水、コットン、Qチップ、この鏡、ライト、暗いので、ライトは役に立ちますが、もう少し右側にあるといいのですが。

The soap divinity is the brand that they use.

石鹸の神髄は、彼らが使っているブランドです。

I'm not familiar with this brand but it's really good.

このブランドはよく知らないのですが、とても良いですね。

I used the, the shampoo and conditioner and body wash.

の、シャンプーとコンディショナー、ボディソープを使いました。

Oh my gosh, everything smells so good.

あら、何もかもがいい香り。

It felt so luxurious.

とても贅沢な気分になりました。

So I really enjoyed their amenities here and I like that there are environmentally friendly.

また、環境に配慮している点も気に入っています。

They don't just give you the little bottles that they actually have refill bottles.

小さなボトルだけでなく、実は詰め替え用のボトルも用意されているんです。

The shower is nice and big.

シャワーも大きくていい感じです。

The only issue was oh my gosh, the water flow was horrible.

唯一の問題は、なんと、水流がひどかったことです。

Let me try to turn it on here for you so you can see that's how the water flows.

水の流れがわかるように、ここでスイッチを入れてみましょう。

So yeah, that was a little disappointed that we met with the knob up there and it was, yeah, it was useless because that was a little disappointing.

そうそう、あそこでノブに会ったのは、ちょっとがっかりでしたから、ええ、無駄でしたよ。

We had a little space down here where we put our dogs water holes.

この下にちょっとしたスペースがあって、そこに犬の水飲み場を置いていたんです。

Now they did not provide any water bowls.

今は水飲み場も用意されていない。

Now this is one we have from home so just be prepared for that.

これは家にあるものなので、その点だけは覚悟しておいてください。

I mean maybe if I called them they would have brought water bowls up.

というか、呼べば水鉢を持って来てくれたかもしれない。

I don't know but it wasn't something that was provided when we checked in.

わからないが、チェックイン時に用意されているものではなかった。

Also the dog beds too.

また、犬のベッドも。

I had a collar, front desk for the dog beds.

首輪、犬用ベッド用のフロントがありました。

Amazing bathtub.

驚きのバスタブ。

We did actually use it last night.

昨晩は実際に使ってみました。

It was so nice.

とても素敵でした。

The water was nice and hot and they even gave you, you know some salt and this worked really well too.

お湯は熱くて気持ちいいし、塩もくれるし、これもすごく効くんです。

I smelled really good.

すごくいい香りがしたんです。

So it's nice and relaxing last night.

だから、昨夜はのんびりできていい感じです。

Taking a bath before we headed to bed, plenty of towels and um so yeah so overall like the bathroom is fantastic, nice and spacious um and the amenities that they give are fantastic and here is a little closet corner.

ベッドに向かう前にお風呂に入るのですが、タオルがたくさんあり、全体的にバスルームは素晴らしく、広々としていて、アメニティも素晴らしいですし、ここには小さなクローゼットのコーナーがあります。

I um did use the bathrobes.

バスローブは使いましたよ。

I like using that after I take a bath, have an umbrella and a yoga mat.

お風呂に入った後、傘とヨガマットを用意して、それを使うのが好きなんです。

There's a safe down there and also there's like a clear check in and check out times.

金庫もありますし、チェックインとチェックアウトの時間も明確にされているようです。

So check out time is at noon and I did call this morning to see if I can request for a complimentary late check out and it is available if they have room I guess I could only get a certain amount of late check out but since I called early they were able to give me an extra hour.

チェックアウトは正午ですが、今朝電話で無料レイトチェックアウトをお願いできるか確認したところ、空きがあれば可能とのことでした。

So I'll be checking out at one PM today and then there is a iron board there and an iron right over there.

だから、今日の午後1時にチェックアウトして、そこにアイロン台があり、すぐそこにアイロンがあるんです。

Alright so that is the tour of the room.

さて、これで部屋の見学は終了です。

I really enjoyed my stay here.

本当に楽しい滞在でした。

The service is fantastic.

サービスも素晴らしい。

Um Everyone here is super dog friendly actually, right when we checked in they took Polaroid pictures of Zoe and Captain and they put it up on their front desk check in where they have like all the pictures of the dogs that are staying that day.

チェックインの時にゾーイとキャプテンのポラロイド写真を撮ってくれて、それをフロントのチェックインカウンターに貼ってくれて、その日に泊まる犬たちの写真も全部置いてくれています。

I thought that was so cute.

すごくかわいいと思ったんです。

The lobby is nice and like it's so warming and inviting and um there's like a nice courtyard area where there's like fire pits and sand and a lot of seating area.

ロビーはとても暖かくて心地よく、中庭には焚き火台や砂場があり、たくさんの座席があります。

When I was here yesterday when an end today.

私が昨日ここにいたとき、今日の終わり。

This morning.

今朝のことです。

I know there's a conference going on so a lot of the space is used for the conference.

会議が行われているので、多くのスペースが会議のために使われていますね。

I mean of course there's space still for the like normal guests that are staying here but a lot of it is being utilized for the conference.

もちろん、通常の宿泊客のためのスペースもありますが、その多くが会議のために利用されています。

There's still enough room for everyone to like sit down and you know chill out or I even got to talk to a lot of people that were down there because Zoe and captain always conversation starters.

ゾーイとキャプテンはいつも会話のきっかけを作ってくれるので、私はそこにいた人たちとたくさん話すことができました。

People love to touch them and pet them.

触ったり、撫でたりするのが大好きな人たちです。

So yeah.

そうそう。

Um Check in was a breeze.

チェックインは簡単でした。

We arrived check in is at four but I think I arrived around two and already had the room available.

チェックインは4時ですが、2時頃到着してすでに部屋が空いていたようです。

So that was nice that we were able to check in early.

そのため、早めにチェックインできたのはよかったです。

The beach is just right across the street but if you want to go to the dog beach it's about a mile and a half down.

ビーチは通りを挟んですぐですが、ドッグビーチに行くなら1.5kmほど下ったところにあります。

So we did drive down, there is only a valet parking, there are self parking garages but then it's a little bit more because it's not owned by the hotel.

だから、私たちは車で行った、唯一のバレーパーキングがあり、セルフパーキングがありますが、それはホテルが所有していないため、少し多くなります。

So it is best to go ahead and valet your car.

だから、先に車をバレーさせるのが一番いいんです。

But if you're gonna just go here for the beach you don't really need the car anyways.

でも、ビーチに行くだけなら、クルマは必要ないでしょう。

Um and everything else is within walking distance, there's like a coffee shop, there's a ton of shops like right on the street.

その他はすべて徒歩圏内で、コーヒーショップもあるし、通りにはたくさんの店があります。

So and there's also CVS right downstairs so there's plenty on the street where you really don't need your car.

また、すぐ下にCVSがあるので、車がなくても大丈夫です。

There isn't really a dog walking area.

犬の散歩コースがないんです。

But you know we walk the dogs around the hotel and that was just fine.

でも、私たちはホテルの周りを犬の散歩で回っているので、ちょうどよかったです。

There are a lot of dogs here.

ここにはたくさんの犬がいます。

So you know if you're someone that is worried about a lot of dogs being around it might not be the place for you because it's super dog friendly.

だから、犬がたくさんいることを気にする人には向かないかもしれない。

And even um last night we were walking around there are dogs everywhere so that was kind of cool to see how pet friendly it was.

そして、昨夜も散歩していたら、そこらじゅうに犬がいて、ペットフレンドリーであることがわかり、とてもクールでした。

We also had dinner at the hotel and that was really nice.

また、ホテルで夕食をとったのですが、それがとてもよかったです。

We had a ton of tacos I think they're like fish shrimp and chicken tacos.

タコスをたくさん食べました。魚のエビとチキンのタコスみたいなものです。

And then the dogs even had a meal, they had a dog menu which was very reasonably priced at $7 and they got chicken rice and carrots of course they loved it and they gave really generous portions.

犬用のメニューは7ドルととてもリーズナブルで、チキンライスとニンジンがついていて、もちろん大喜びで食べてくれました。

So dinner was excellent and we got to sit outside on the patio, really nice weather.

そのため、ディナーは素晴らしく、外のパティオに座ることができ、本当に良い天気でした。

Um the service was great and yeah and then and then we also had breakfast here in the morning, we weren't able to dine um and sit down so we took the food up to the room and we both ordered a burrito and that was really good too and they're really big so if you're not someone that eats a lot in the morning, you can probably share that burrito with someone else, which my husband and we thought, you know what, we could probably share this because it was a really big portion.

朝、ここで朝食をとったのですが、食事ができず、座れなかったので、部屋に持っていって、二人でブリトーを注文したのですが、それもとてもおいしかったです。

So yeah, I'm trying to think if I missed out on anything.

そうそう、何か見逃してないかと考えているんです。

I mean, I was only here for one night um because I really wanted to enjoy the beach with my dogs uh because Captain has never been and it was it's been a while for Zoey since she's been to the beach.

というのも、キャプテンは一度も行ったことがないし、ゾーイも久しぶりにビーチに来たんだ。

So that was my review of the short break hotel at the kimpton in Huntington's Beach.
