So today I'm going to a barbecue, I haven't gone to one in like forever and I'm not really exactly dressed for a barbecue and wearing just like a skirt and top.

今日はバーベキューに行くんだけど、もうずっと行ってないし、バーベキュー用の服装でもないし、スカートにトップスみたいなのしか着てないんだ。

I'm eating oatmeal for like the 100th time.

オートミールを食べるのは100回目くらいです。

Um only because it's literally like the only thing that I can eat, I might try to cook with like egg yolk or whatever because I'm not allergic to the yolk of the egg, but I am allergic to egg whites, which kind of sucks.

卵の黄身にはアレルギーがないのですが、卵白にはアレルギーがあるので、卵黄を使った料理を作ってみようと思っています。

I got this coconut milk, it's gluten free and vegan and I got it on amazon, but the only thing I don't like about it is how it smells like artificial coconut, it doesn't have very many ingredients which is good, but it has that artificial flavor and I don't think I like that so much.

このココナッツミルクはグルテンフリーでビーガンで、amazonで買ったのですが、唯一気に入らないのは、人工的なココナッツの香りがすることです。原材料があまり多くないのは良いのですが、人工的な香りがして、それがあまり好きではないようです。

So I'm kind of bummed out a little bit, we'll see how this tastes when I eat it.

だから、ちょっとだけガッカリしているんだ。この味は、食べたら分かるよ。

But um yeah, I mean it's gluten free, it's vegan, it's a natural, this is natural zay, don't know, butter, coconut milk, tapioca, starch, natural, coconut flavoring, sea salt from organic farming, I guess it doesn't have anything artificial.

でも、グルテンフリーで、ビーガンで、ナチュラルで、バター、ココナッツミルク、タピオカ、スターチ、ナチュラル、ココナッツフレーバー、オーガニック農法の海塩、人工的なものは何も入っていないんだろうね。

Wait, I don't know guys, but I'm trying it out today for the first time, I can eat things like sausage, but I kind of don't want to eat sausage because it's kind of like processed meat.

待って、みんな知らないんだけど、今日初めて試してみたんだけど、ソーセージとかは食べられるんだけど、ソーセージってなんか加工肉みたいで食べたくないんだよね。

So maybe once in a while would be kind of nice to have some, some meat or something more or maybe like salmon or something.

だから、たまにはお肉とか、サーモンとか、そういうものを食べるといいかもしれません。

I don't know, beans are usually okay, but um, not a lot of it because it upsets my stomach.

豆はだいたい大丈夫なんだけど、うーん、お腹を壊すからあまりたくさんはダメかな。

I'm gonna make this breakfast and then I'm gonna head to casa de colon, which is uh, not too far from me, but it takes a while to get there because the trains are so slow just to get there.

朝食を作ってからカサ・デ・コロンに行くんだ、そんなに遠くないんだけど、電車が遅くて行くのに時間がかかるんだ。

Yeah, I'm gonna go there today and see um somebody I haven't seen in a really long time, which is my former music manager.

そうそう、今日そこに行って、本当に長い間会っていない人に会う予定なんだ、僕の元音楽マネージャーなんだけどね。

We're thinking about creating more things, but I've been so busy with other stuff, but I'm open to it.

もっといろいろなものを作ろうと思っているのですが、他のことで忙しくて、でも、オープンにしています。

I don't know what's going to happen, but we'll see.

So yeah, this lighting is kind of crap.

This is my oatmeal and my apple and yogurt and coffee and I just want to fill myself up because I don't know how much I'm going to be able to eat at the barbecue today.

これはオートミールとリンゴとヨーグルトとコーヒーで、今日のバーベキューでどれだけ食べられるか分からないから、お腹を満たしたいんだ。

I made it a goal this year to be closer with nature and enjoy more fresh air.

We sometimes forget to do this in our busy lives.

忙しい毎日の中で、つい忘れてしまうことがあります。

So summer in Japan is a great opportunity for me to explore my surroundings and get to know other people.

How exciting is that I'm in cause I think I cohen right now and I'm waiting for adam, he's going to be a little bit late.

So I actually got here early thinking that I was going to be late.

So I decided to ask the students why they were learning english.

And I totally realized, realized one thing while living here, the importance of socializing with newer faces.

そして、ここで生活している間に一つ、新しい顔ぶれとの交流の大切さを、すっかり実感したのです。

Not only is it important for health to do?

These things went away from family, it's a must in general.

こういうのは家族から離れた、一般的にはマストなんですけどね。

Sometimes an individual must make the effort to become involved rather than waiting for someone to come to them.

誰かが来てくれるのを待つのではなく、自分から関わっていかなければならないこともあります。

I make it a habit to go looking for things to do and ways to be involved while living in another country.

外国に住んでいる間に、やるべきこと、関わり方を探しに行くことを習慣にしています。

Whether I know a group of people or not, not only does it make you feel good in the long run.

知り合いのグループであろうとなかろうと、長い目で見ればいい気分になれるだけでない。

It's a good exercise for your brain.

I got a birthday card with, oh, I took it out, it's an itunes card that my mom gave me and I have two packages.

バースデーカードで、あ、取り出したら、母からもらったitunesカードで、パッケージが2つあるんです。

So here's the itunes card and then I don't know why she gave me razors, but okay, wow, she gave me a lot of this stuff.

それで、これがitunesカードで、それからなぜかカミソリをくれたんだけど、そうか、すごいな、こんなものをたくさんくれたんだ。

This is kind of nice.

Crunchy double chocolate chip cookies, all Allergen free, which is awesome.

I'm so excited about these crunchy cookies, I love these ones were so good, everything was so good.

このサクサククッキーが大好きです！何もかもが美味しくて、大満足です。

I got the dark chocolate ones because I prefer dark chocolate, but I could use these for something in like pancakes or whatever and then chocolate bars, allergy free chocolate bars, tons of them.

私はダークチョコレートが好きなので、ダークチョコレートを買いましたが、これはパンケーキなどにも使えますし、チョコレートバーも、アレルギーフリーのチョコレートバーも、たくさんありますよ。

So I guess it's to massage your back and then uh yeah, some stuff that I left at home, Tylenol socks, I left at home makeup wipes are family calendar.

This is the annual calendar that we get with all our photos and magazines.

I'm sorry my eyes really read because I got dust in my eye when I was cleaning.

ええと......だから......ごめんなさい。

But anyway, yesterday was amazing.

でも、とにかく昨日はすごかった。

It has such a fun time able to, I was able to see some of my friends and meet new people and just hang out and I was able to speak japanese like all day and I'm not as bad as I thought.

友達と会ったり、新しい人と会ったり、ただ遊んだり、一日中日本語を話すことができ、思ったより悪くなかったです。

So I guess like I'm still stuck in the intermediate level.

だから、まだ中級で止まっているようなものかな。

I mean I studied it all my life, so since high school all the way through college, so I think it just kind of sticks in your head after a while, but I would like to get from intermediate to advanced at some point, so that's why it's important to really try and speak and meet up with your japanese friends.

私は高校から大学までずっと勉強してきたので、しばらくすると頭に残ってしまうのですが、いずれは中級から上級になりたいので、日本語を話してみたり、日本語の友達と会ったりすることが大切だと思います。

I haven't had many opportunities to hang out with japanese friends because Tokyo is just such a big work culture and it's hard to make plans, but I'm gonna see if I'm going to just keep asking people to hang out and see if they can say yes or no whatever and then when my fiancee is here, definitely going to use a lot of japanese.

東京は仕事一色で、なかなか予定が立てられないので、日本人の友達と遊ぶ機会があまりありませんでしたが、これからどんどん誘って、相手がイエスかノーか確かめて、フィアンセが来たら、絶対に日本語をたくさん使おうと思います。

So yeah, yesterday was fun.

そうそう、昨日は楽しかった。
