Today we are going to explore value of Fire State Park with my two pumps.

今日は2人のパンプスと一緒にバリューオブファイヤー州立公園を探検します。

We got in last night.

昨日の夜、入りましたよ。

We had a bit of a delay but we didn't make it and we got in around 10:30 PM.

少し遅れましたが、間に合わず、午後10時半ごろに入店しました。

And as soon as we got in we went straight to bed.

そして、家に入るとすぐにベッドに直行した。

I woke up early this morning, took the dogs out for a little walk and now I'm heading out to Mcdonald's to grab some breakfast and then after that we are going to head to the state park.

今朝は早起きして、犬を連れて少し散歩して、これからマクドナルドで朝食をとって、そのあと州立公園へ行く予定です。

So we're going to spend one day here and hopefully um we'll cover the two trails that I really want to um get to today.

だから、ここで1日過ごして、今日どうしても行きたい2つのトレイルをカバーしたいと思うんだ。

And then if there's more time we'll do some little extra trails.

そして、時間があれば、ちょっとしたエクストラ・トレイルも行う予定です。

There's two main trails I want to go on.

行きたいコースは大きく分けて2つあります。

They're both relatively easy hikes and the scenery is gorgeous and last time I took Zoe, she really enjoyed it.

どちらも比較的簡単なハイキングコースで、景色も美しく、前回ゾーイを連れて行ったときは本当に楽しんでいました。

So this is Captain's first time here and I think he's going to really enjoy it too.

だから、キャプテンも初めて来るのですが、きっと楽しんでくれると思います。

So yeah, that's our plan for today, is to tackle two hikes and then also maybe some little ones.

そうそう、今日の予定は、2つのハイキングに挑戦することと、あと小さなお子さんをお連れすることです。

Um If we have time, we're at our first stop at White Domes Trail and this is about a 1.5 mile round trip and it is about 60 degrees.

Um 時間があれば、最初の目的地であるホワイトドーム・トレイルで、これは往復約1.5マイルで、気温は約60度です。

It is at about 11:15 a.m. On a sunday and there's still plenty of parking.

日曜の11時15分頃ですが、まだ駐車場はたくさんあります。

So um if you're worried about it being really busy at this time.

だから......この時間帯は本当に混んでいるのか心配な人はね。

We found parking and it is March.

駐車場が見つかり、3月になりました。

So L and the time just changed.

だからLと時間が変わっただけ。

And yeah, so we're gonna get ready to go do this hike now with the pups.

Okay, Kathy I'm just taking a little break right now.

Like halfway done on this trail.

このトレイルの半分が終わったようなものです。

I don't know why there's a lot of bees right here where we're resting.

私たちが休んでいるこの場所に、なぜかハチがたくさんいるんです。

It's pretty warm, 60° with the sun out and hiking.

太陽が出ていてハイキングしていると60°とかなり暖かいです。

Um because it's pretty, it's not level.

あの......きれいだから、レベルじゃないんです。

I mean you do kind of climb over rocks and stuff.

つまり、岩を乗り越えたりするんですね。

It's a little bit strenuous.

ちょっと体力を使いますね。

So yeah, it's a little bit tiring and this be won't go away.

そうそう、ちょっと疲れるし、このbeが消えないんですよね。

It's scaring me.

怖いんです。

Why is there a b over here?

なぜ、ここにBがあるのですか？

I'm afraid it's gonna bite me.

噛まれそうで怖い。

Alright.

なるほど。

So it is almost 1:00.

というわけで、もうすぐ1時です。

We just finished the hike, Man.

ハイキングが終わったところだよ。

We started by a little bit after 11.

11時過ぎにはスタートしました。

Right.

そうですね。

So yeah, that was a while on that hike for a while.

そうそう、あのハイキングはしばらくでしたね。

It is lunchtime now, Well past lunch.

今はお昼時、お昼過ぎです。

So we're gonna go back into town and get some lunch and these two are probably going to nap.

だから、町に戻って昼食をとり、この二人は昼寝をするつもりだ。

Mm hmm mm hmm.

うーん、うーん、うーん。

After a hike at White don't we went back into town, had some lunch at Mcdonald's and then we went back to the hotel and took a little nap and it is almost four o'clock now and we're gonna head back to the park and do one more trail and we might visit the visitor center.

ホワイトドントでのハイキングの後、町に戻ってマクドナルドで昼食をとり、ホテルに戻って少し昼寝をしました。もう4時近いので、公園に戻ってもう1つトレイルを歩き、ビジターセンターにも行ってみるつもりです。

I'm not sure.

よくわからないんです。

We might also take a look at this overlook that's not a named trail or anything or overlook.

また、この見晴らし台は、名前のあるトレイルでも何でもなく、見晴らし台でもない。

So we're going to try to figure out if we could find where that spot is.

そこで、その場所がどこにあるのか、探ってみることにした。

But the other trail that we're going to do, it's not called the White.

でも、もうひとつのトレイルは、「白」とは言わないんです。

Don't let me look it up real quick.

すぐに調べさせないでください。

I always forget what it's called Fire Wave Trail.

Fire Wave Trailというのをいつも忘れてしまいます。

I keep wanting to say it's the rainbow um, something rainbow trail, but it's called the Fire Wave Trail.

虹のあの、なんとかレインボートレイルと言いたいところですが、Fire Wave Trailと呼ばれています。

Now this trail is like all the trails are dog friendly and this trail actually was not a part of the park before it wasn't marked or mapped out, but because it was so popular that they decided to put this on the park map.

このトレイルは、すべてのトレイルがドッグフレンドリーであるように、実は以前は公園の一部ではなく、マークや地図もなかったのですが、人気があったので公園の地図に掲載することになりました。

So it's a really pretty hike, just like the first one, a little bit different.

だから、最初のハイキングと同じように、ちょっと変わった本当にきれいなハイキングなんだ。

So we just visited the visitor center and did like this really super short hike.

だから、ビジターセンターを訪れ、この超短いハイキングのようなことをした。

I don't even think it's a quarter mile.

1/4マイルもないだろう。

Um, it's almost just like a little stroll.

あの、ほとんどちょっとした散歩のようなものです。

But now we are at fire Wave trail.

でも、今はファイヤーウェーブのトレイルにいます。

This is going to be our last hike today.

今日が最後のハイキングになりそうです。

And um, hopefully we'll get when we get to the end, it's around sunset.

そして、できれば最後に、日没の頃になるといいんですけどね。

So we'll see some nice beautiful colors.

だから、素敵な美しい色彩が見られるのです。

うーん、うーん。

Just finished the Fire Wave trail and the sun is setting right now.

ちょうどFire Waveトレイルを終えたところで、今、日が沈んでいるところです。

We got there a little bit early and didn't want to wait now for the sun to set.

少し早めに着いたので、日が沈むのを今か今かと待ちたくなかったのです。

So we decided to head back.

そこで、引き返すことにした。

Oh man, I'm exhausted and thursday, I think we're gonna try to go to one more spot and then call it a day.

やれやれ、疲れたし、木曜日は、もう一カ所行ってみて、それで終わりにしようかな。

Alright, so that was our day here at Valley of Fire State Park.

さて、これがここValley of Fire State Parkでの一日でした。

I keep wanting to say national Park, but it's a state park, Valley of Fire State Park.

国立公園と言いたいところですが、州立公園のValley of Fire State Parkです。

We did two hikes, Fire Wave Trail and White Dome.

Fire Wave TrailとWhite Domeの2つのハイクをしました。

White Dome is my favorite.

ホワイトドームが一番好きです。

I think the dogs enjoyed White Dome a lot too because it's just a little bit more different scenery throughout the hike, which I really liked and it was a loop and then the fire wave is like you go to one point and then you head back, it's still beautiful.

ホワイトドームは犬も楽しんでいました。ハイキングの途中で少しずつ景色が変わるので、私はとても気に入りました。

Um right now the sun is setting, it is 6 42 and the weather was really nice.

今、太陽が沈み、6時42分、天気はとてもよかったです。

Um starting to cool down now and that was pretty much how we spend our day.

この後、涼しくなってきたので、その日はこのような感じで過ごしました。

I don't know if we could have fit in, we probably could have fit in one more hike if we didn't take a break, but we really needed that break.

もし休憩を取らなかったら、もう1回ハイキングをすることができたかもしれません。でも、本当に休憩が必要でした。

I think the dogs really enjoyed it.

犬たちは本当に楽しんでいたと思います。

They got a lot of attention whenever they saw other people hiking.

他の人がハイキングしているのを見ると、とても注目されたそうです。

Whenever we got back into the car, they passed out, they loved running around a lot of sniffing and chasing each other.

車に戻ると必ず気を失い、匂いを嗅いだり、追いかけっこをしたりと、たくさん走り回るのが大好きでした。
