So I just checked into La Quinta Inn Waco downtown Baylor.

というわけで、ラ・キンタ・イン・ウェイコ・ダウンタウン・ベイラーにチェックインしたところです。

I mainly came here because I wanted to check out Joanna and Chip Gaines Marketplace which is called the silos.

私がここに来たのは、主にサイロと呼ばれるJoanna and Chip Gaines Marketplaceをチェックしたかったからです。

Also magnolia marketplace and it's dog friendly.

また、マグノリアマーケットプレイスもあり、犬もOKです。

So I could take kuma with me since I'm on a road trip right now from uh California to florida and I was looking for sites where I can just check out something with kuma and magnolia market was one of them.

今、カリフォルニアからフロリダまで車で旅行中なんですが、クマと一緒に何かチェックできる場所を探していて、マグノリアマーケットがそのひとつだったんです。

It's only a half mile to the market so I couldn't even walk there if I wanted to which I would try to do.

市場まで半マイルしかないので、歩こうと思っても歩けない。

But I have Kuma with me too and I want to take her so it might be easier if I drive there and then walk around.

でも、クマちゃんも連れて行きたいので、車で行ってから歩けば楽かもしれません。

We'll see the petty is pretty fair is $20 a night.

一泊20ドルで、かなり公平な小額を見ることができます。

So I'm staying here for two nights and then I'll be $40 and I think $40 is the max that they'll charge you.

So not that bad.

The check in was a breeze.

The staff up front was really friendly and very accommodating.

I asked for a room on the high floor and away from the street.

I got the high floor but I am close to the street or the highway.

Um but I don't hear the highway so I think it'll be okay.

I mainly just want to be away from the noise so that kuma doesn't hear it and she doesn't react to it now that I'm listening a little bit closer.

私は主に、クマに聞こえないように音から離れたいだけで、少し近くで聞いている今、クマはそれに反応しません。

I do hear the highway a little bit, I hope it doesn't bother me but I'm in room 401 and it's away from the elevator and on the highest floor.

高速道路の音が少し聞こえるので、気にならなければいいのですが、私は401号室でエレベーターから離れた最上階にいます。

So at least I got that part right.

She absolutely loves carpet.

So I do try to get hotel rooms with a carpet if possible.

And I do like the design of this carpet's pretty cool.

But yeah, so let me give you a tour of this room actually like these drapes.

I just noticed this now, but there's like an ombre from white orange to turquoise.

今気づいたんですが、ホワイトオレンジからターコイズまでオンブレみたいなのがありますね。

Very lovely.

I mean they did a really great job with the design here.

つまり、このデザインは本当に素晴らしい仕事をしたのです。

I love this wall.

この壁が好きなんです。

I believe that's the Waco bridge and the color, the orange color goes really nice against this bed in the dark wood and they have very modern furniture.

このオレンジ色は、ダークウッドのこのベッドにとてもよく合っていて、とてもモダンな家具が置いてありますね。

There's a lamp here on each side of the bed.

ベッドの両脇には、ここにランプがあります。

So if you're staying with two people, one person can have the light switch right here and if the other person sleeping they can just turn it off on the other side.

ですから、2人で泊まる場合、1人が電気のスイッチをここに持っていて、もう1人が寝ていたら反対側で消せばいいのです。

There's a phone and also some outlets with regular outlets and USB outlets, which is nice.

電話もあるし、普通のコンセントとUSBのコンセントもあって、いい感じです。

And this is a king size room.

しかも、これはキングサイズの部屋です。

I usually get to queens but I decided to get a king size room here because it was cheaper and there's a chair right next to it.

いつもはクイーンにするのですが、ここではキングサイズが安かったのと、すぐ横に椅子があるので、キングサイズにしました。

So I'll probably just leave my stuff there.

だから、荷物はそこに置いておくことになりそうです。

I'm on a road trip.

ドライブ旅行中です。

So we got to bring in lots of stuff and as I noted it's right next to the highway so I can hear some cars which I don't like.

また、高速道路に隣接しているため、車の音が聞こえるのが難点です。

It's not too bad, but I just here like the rumbling of the truck sometimes there isn't in and out nearby.

ただ、近くに出入りがないときは、トラックの音が気になります。

There's also chick fil a what?

チックフィルアもありますよ何？

A burger.

ハンバーガーです。

I mean all my fast food restaurants are right by this hotel.

つまり、私が利用しているファーストフード店は、すべてこのホテルのすぐそばにあるのです。

So I'm really excited about that.

だから、とても楽しみなんです。

This bed actually has five pillows, not the standard four.

このベッド、実は枕が標準の4つではなく、5つあるんです。

Okay, so I guess I have lots to choose from over here.

なるほど、それならこっちの方がたくさん選べそうですね。

Across from the bed is the working desk area and they have a light underneath and turn it on or off and they have some outlets, there more outlets on the other side.

ベッドの向かい側がワーキングデスクで、下に照明があり、オン・オフが可能です。

And both of these have a regular outlet and a USB outlet.

そして、どちらも通常のコンセントとUSBコンセントを備えています。

On this side is the Tv with the console and there's lots of drawer space.

こちら側にはテレビとコンソールがあり、引き出しのスペースもたくさんあります。

I've actually already utilized this.

実はこれ、すでに活用しているんです。

I've put all my stuff in here, like my camera, so my equipment here.

カメラなどの機材は全部ここに入れたので、機材はここに。

Yeah, that's a lot.

うん、多いね。

I do love this luggage rack area.

このラゲッジラック周りはとても気に入っています。

I like that.

それが好きなんです。

It's not the foldout ones because sometimes those are hard to use or they're just so flimsy.

折りたたみ式のものは、使いにくかったり、ペラペラだったりすることがあるので、それはないですね。

This is so much better to lay out your luggage and I love that.

これなら荷物のレイアウトもしやすいし、とても気に入っています。

On the other side is an alarm clock, more outlets and some drawer space again, so it's a digital control here for the temperature and um, I can hear it over there.

反対側には目覚まし時計、さらにコンセント、そして引き出しスペースがあります。

Okay, right here by the entryway is a microwave a coffee machine with an ice bucket and a fridge.

さて、この入り口のところに電子レンジ、コーヒーメーカー、アイスペール、冷蔵庫があります。

I always forget.

いつも忘れてしまうんです。

So I always utilize the fridge because I bring stuff with me too chill.

だから、私も冷やすものを持っていくので、いつも冷蔵庫を活用しています。

They have some drinks and sausages.

飲み物やソーセージもある。

I'm bringing all the way from California.

カリフォルニアからわざわざ持ってきているんです。

I'm hoping it'll make it in this drawer slides if you slide it over, it reveals the closet.

この引き出しをスライドさせれば、クローゼットが見えてくるので、なんとかならないかなと思っています。

So, I definitely utilized this as well.

だから、これも絶対に活用した。

I have like my coat hanging.

コート掛けのように持っています。

I have both my suitcases in here.

スーツケースは2つともこの中に入れています。

Some bags and there's the ironing board and iron and across from that is the bathroom.

バッグもあるし、アイロン台とアイロンもあって、その向かいがバスルームです。

So here is the bathroom.

That's the shower looks very modern in here.

It's a it's a cute size.

They give you lots of towels, lots of counter space in this beautiful light.

この美しい光の中で、たくさんのタオル、たくさんのカウンタースペースを与えてくれます。

And this is awesome when you're trying to get ready and put on makeup.

そして、身支度をして化粧をしようとするときに、これはすごいことなんです。

I like their toiletries a lot.

Um, They provide paul Mitchell.

あの、ポール・ミッチェルを提供しています。

Not that I'm a huge fan, but it is a higher end brand.

So, I do appreciate that.

Also do like these bars of soap where they it's like a massage protect.

Overall this hotel stay was really great.

全体的にこのホテルの滞在は本当に素晴らしかったです。

The location you can't beat because it's right next to all the fast food restaurants.

ファーストフード店のすぐそばなので、立地は言うことなしです。

All my favorites like in and out water burger, uh chick fil a and now I see there's like a tropical smoothie right across the street to which is awesome.

私の好きなin and out water burgerやchick fil a、それにトロピカル・スムージーも通りの向かいにあるようで、これはすごいですね。

And of course the silos is only half a mile away.

もちろんサイロも半マイルしか離れていない。

I loved all the space that I had in the room, lots of counter space where I can lay all my stuff, Lots of storage space.

部屋の中にあるすべてのスペースが気に入りました。すべての荷物を置くことができるたくさんのカウンタースペース、たくさんの収納スペース。

The shower was great.

シャワーは最高でした。

Great pressure, hot water.

圧力、お湯の出方が素晴らしい。

I really appreciated the makeup wipes.

メイクアップワイプは本当にありがたかったです。

I even asked for some extra.

So they gave me a few more.

They also have free breakfast from 6-9.

I went to go check that out this morning and they had waffles cereal.

Some hot foods like eggs, sausage and what else do they have?

Yogurt, bananas, maybe a couple more items.

And of course coffee and tea.

もちろん、コーヒーや紅茶も。

I did have some of their coffee and I wasn't a big fan of it.

コーヒーも飲んだのですが、あまり好きな味ではありませんでした。

In fact, I don't think, I think I took one sip and I couldn't drink anymore.

実際、一口飲んだら、もう飲めなかったと思うんです。

It was a little too dark for me.

私にはちょっと暗すぎました。

So I feel like dark coffee.

だから、ダークコーヒーのような気分です。

Then it's for you.

They do have a pool here.

It's actually half indoors, half outdoors so it's covered and then there's like an outdoor space where there's like a lounge area with some chairs right across from the pool is a really nice jim great size with some treadmills.

半分は屋内、半分は屋外の屋根付きで、屋外のスペースにはラウンジエリアと椅子があり、プールの向かい側にはトレッドミルが設置された素晴らしいサイズのジムもあるんだ。

Some of those exercise balls and they even provide towels and water.

エクササイズボールもあるし、タオルや水まで用意してくれている。

And I thought the gym was really great.

そして、ジムは本当に素晴らしいと思いました。

Some cons that I have to note the wifi does not work very well at all.

欠点は、無線LANが全くと言っていいほど使えないことです。

I thought the wife, I would be okay here because it's pretty modern.

奥さん、ここはかなりモダンだから大丈夫だろうと思っていたんです。

I think it's fairly new.

かなり新しいと思います。

Plus you know, it's in a city in downtown so you'd expect some good wifi.

それに、ダウンタウンにある街なので、無線LANも充実していることでしょう。

But I know um I had to call tech support to help me get proper wifi.

しかし、私は......技術サポートに電話して、適切な無線LANを得るための手助けをしなければならなかったことを知っています。

Not having proper wifi is a huge problem for me because a lot of the times when I'm on a road trip like this, I need to check my emails for work.

このようなドライブ旅行では、仕事でメールをチェックする必要があることが多いので、まともな無線LANがないのは大きな問題です。

Another thing too is that my room is right next to the highway or the interstate so I could hear all the cars and all the cars that go by on the highway I'm definitely hearing although it's faint.

もうひとつ、私の部屋は高速道路のすぐそばなので、車の音や高速道路を行き交う車の音がかすかではありますが、確かに聞こえているのです。

You do like here constant cars going by.

車がひっきりなしに通るのが好きなんですね。

I don't think it bothered me too much but it was just the fact that I did ask for a room to be away from the interstate and then they give me a room right next to the interstate so I'm not sure if she heard me incorrectly or not.

私はあまり気にならなかったのですが、ただ、高速道路から離れた部屋を希望したのに、高速道路のすぐそばの部屋を用意されたので、彼女が間違って聞いてしまったのか、よくわかりません。

But yeah, I didn't like it.

でもね、好きじゃなかったんですよ。

Um I should have been more adamant about it.

うーん......もっと断固とした態度で臨むべきでしたね。

But you know, once you check into your room and you're just like ah screw it, I'll just deal with it again, it's not too bad, but you definitely hear it.

でもね、部屋にチェックインして、ああもうだめだ、また対応しようってなると、あまりひどくはないんだけど、絶対聞こえてくるんですよ。

So if you are one of those people that don't want to hear any noise at night, Then make sure you don't get room 401.

だから、もしあなたが夜中に音を聞きたくない人の一人なら、401号室を取らないように注意してください。

But that's it.

でも、それだけなんです。
