So today we are visiting Ginza Onsen which is this beautiful, rustic traditional town in Yamagata.

Yeah, so again Zan Onsen actually used to be a mining town.

Gin is silver and done is mountain.

So it used to be a mining town about 500 years ago and then gradually closed down.
