And today's phrase is: day by day.

今日のフレーズは「Day by Day」です。

Day by day means "gradually". Gradually.

Day by day とは、徐々にという意味です。

After an earthquake:

地震発生後

Day by day, the situation is improving. That's good news.

ー「日に日に状況は改善されています」。それは良いニュースだ。

At work:

仕事の場で使いたいなら

Day by day, she is learning more about her job.

ー「彼女は日に日に自分の仕事をこなしている」。

All right! That's the way to go!

わかった！これでいいんだよね！？

In a hospital:

病院で使いたいなら、

Her health is improving day by day.

「彼女は日に日に健康状態が良くなっています」。

Aw, I'm happy for her; that's good news.

それはよかったですね。

Talking with a friend:

友人との会話なら-

I live for the moment, day by day, not for the past. Carpe diem!

「私は過去ではなく、一日一日、今を生きている」。

Talking about a pet:

ペットの話なら

My cat is growing fast day by day.

- 「うちの猫は日に日に成長しています」。

It's getting big, fast.

急速に大きくなっています。

Learning something new:

新しいことを学ぶ時は

If you practice hard, you can see improvement day by day.

ー「一生懸命練習すれば、日に日に上達していくのがわかります」。

For sure, you can.
