today I'm wearing pony tail

and it feels a little weird

cuz I never wear pony tails

but whatever

we're just gonna go with it

so recently me and my friends Tiffany Albert and Ryan Newman

had like a little backyard party

summer girls' night type of thing

and it just got me thinking that

not everybody has a swimming pool for the summertime

and maybe some people just don't like to swim

I decided to show you guys

how to throw your own backyard summer party for you and your besties

with some treats and some activities that you guys can do

and we also show you guys our outfits and our summer essentials

so which is like a summer packed girls' night video

and also I just wanna show you guys that

you don't have to like go out every night in summertime

and go to cool parties

you can literally throw your own parties with some of your best friends in your backyard

watching Netflix and eat junk food

that's my idea of turning up

I hope I'm not the only one

so the first thing that you wanna do for a backyard girls' night party

is set up some decorations

so we just tied a rope from tree to tree

and then we hung some really cool pattern sheets on top of it

and it took us a little while but we got it

now just add some cool thrill pillows

and you are good to go--

and for one more finishing touch

I'm gonna show you guys how to make DIY snow cone garland

so we're gonna start off by

placing a wood stick into our foam balls

and then taking the acrylic paint

we are just going to paint every single one of them with the colors of your choice

now we're taking our clear glitter

and we're going to sprinkle sprinkle sprinkle

so it look just like a real snow cone

and then we are going to begin hot gluing our paper cups

you can also just use white paper and roll it up

and we are going to stick our foam balls into the cups

to make it look like a snow cone

now apply some hot glue to the top of each of your snow cones

and attach your string

so that we can use it as decoration for our backyard party--

yay--- FOOD!

my favorite part of the video

I'm gonna show you guys how to make hamburger treats

so I started off with some vanilla wafers

and put them onto a plate

added a bit of frosting

and then on top of that

you're just gonna place one grasshopper cookie

I used red icing to act as our ketchup, get it? (snigger)

and then I use yellow icing of course for the mustard

after that you're gonna get some sweetened coconut flakes

add in a few drops of green food coloring

to make it look like lettuce, get it?

haha anyway

you're going to sprinkle it onto our little fake sweet hamburgers

and put another vanilla wafer on top

after that you can add some black icing for the sesame seeds

and we are finished!

and now they are perfect to serve for you and your friends

they are so yummy and adorable

now to make this party drink

all I did was take some seven-up

and add a few drops of blue food coloring

and then obviously to keep it cool

I just added some ice

and last but not least

the swedish fish

this is such a fun drink

and my friends and I actually had a competition

to see who could get swedish fish out of the bottom first

with just the straw

no no no

wait can we use our hands no fingers! (LOL)

got it!

you got it? Ahhhhh Noway

and as you can tell, we all lost

the next idea that I have for you guys

is a DIY trail mix bar

where your friends can make their own trail mix

so all I did was take a tray

and filled it with a bunch of snacks for me and my friends

and then just added a spoon in each bowl

and some bags or some boxes to put the trail mix in

and you are finished

this is one of the easiest DIYs

and it's actually really fun

because you get to customize your own snack

now we don't wanna get bored, do we?

so I made a DIY art kit

basically I just took a suitcase

and filled it with paint, pencils, notebooks

all that kind of artsy stuff for my friends and I

so we could just color and paint

all that kind of stuff

now remember, you are NEVER too old to color

I don't care what anyone says

and now for my summer must have

of course my number one summer essential

is my Polaroid camera

because this is so great when hanging out with your friends in the summertime

just to capture memories

and as for my outfit

today I decided to wear this amazing colorful tank top

that I purchased from LF

and then I am wearing a light blue skater skirt

that I purchased from Brandy Melville

I love my friend Tiffany's outfit

she's wearing a white T-shirt with these adorable daisy printed shorts

and these super cute light brown sandals

she is also wearing this adorable black hat

I have one like this and I'm obsessed with it

and her summer essential is this airbrush legs lotion

to keep her legs nice and tanned

and I really love Ryan's outfit too

so she's just wearing a floral shirt

along with some really pretty lacy blue shorts

and for her shoes, she's wearing some studded white sandals

and Ryan's summer essential is this super cute beach patrol sweater

that she got from Kitson

and her beach texturizing spray
