This highway takes you to the Chirihama Nagisa Driveway, the only spot  in Japan where cars can drive on the beach.

この高速道路を利用すると、日本で唯一、車が砂浜を走れるスポット「千里浜なぎさドライブウェイ」に行けます。

Okay, I guess you can take your car or bike on this road.

この道は車や自転車で行けるんでしょうね。

そうか......対向車がいるのか。

So, you got to keep to the left in Japan.

日本では左に寄らないといけないんですね。

Two-way lane here I guess.

これは対面車線なんだろうね。

Very smooth road and a beautiful day just looking out into the Japan sea there.

とてもスムーズな道で、日本海を眺めているだけで素晴らしい日になりそうです。

Oh, there's a 30 kilometer speed limit here.

ここでは30キロの速度制限があります。

That's reasonable.

合理的ですね。

And I guess at different points, there's ways to get back onto the main road.

そして、それそれの場所からメインロードに戻る方法があると思いますが....

Even a restroom area here.

お手洗いのスペースからもね。

It's a bit bumpy here, but this would be one of the exit points.

ここはちょっとデコボコしていますね。ここが出口の１つになります。

So, it was definitely smoother before, but it's still pretty smooth.

以前よりは確実にスムーズになりました、今もかなりスムーズだったけどね。

We'll just keep going, see how far it goes, I guess.

これからも、どこまで進化するか見守っていきたいと思います。

Back to Kanazawa City this way.

こうして金沢市内に戻ります。

Okay, so that's the end, and that becomes a beach there, so It's closed off just for a regular beach.

よし、ここで終わりですね、この先はビーチです。普通のビーチと一緒で閉鎖されています。

And then you can either go back one more time or head back to the highway.   

ここからは、もう１回戻るか、高速道路に向かうかですね。

I think I'm gonna have to jump in for a swim, so let's park the car somewhere.

私は飛び込んで泳ぎたいから、どこかに車を停めておこうと思います。

It's a beautiful spot, and driving your car on the beach makes the experience that much more fun. 

ここはとても美しい場所で、ビーチで車を走らせると、より一層楽しい経験になります。

If you don't have a car of your own, there seems to  be a taxi service that can take you for the drive.
