This hotel is actually brand new.

このホテルは、実は真新しいのです。

It just had its soft opening in April and right now it's the end of May.

4月にソフトオープンしたばかりで......今は5月の終わりです。

So we're in Sultanahmet, which is where like the main area of Istanbul is where you'll find the blue mosque.

ここはイスタンブールのメインエリアで、ブルーモスクがあるSultaana Mintというところです。

Um, a lot of the mosques around here that the people visit are the visitor's go-to and Hanna Hotel is pretty close to all that.

ハンナ・ホテルはそのようなモスクの近くにあります。

So walking distance. It's in a great location. But today the taxi was trying to take us to our hotel but the roads were closed because the president apparently is coming to visit.

歩いて行ける距離というのは、とてもいい場所にあるのですが、今日はタクシーがホテルに連れて行ってくれようとしたのですが、大統領が来ているらしく道路が閉鎖されていました。

So we had to get out of the taxi and walk about seven minutes which seven minutes isn't bad but when you have two pieces of luggage and going uphill somewhat stairs that was pretty brutal.

そのため、タクシーを降りて7分ほど歩かなければならなかった。7分は悪くないが、荷物が2つあり、坂道や階段を上るとなると、かなり過酷だ。

They felt really bad for us and when we got in they offered us lemonade and you know, had us sit down and relax.

彼らは私たちのことを本当に気の毒に思っていて、私たちが入ったときにはレモネードを出してくれて、私は座ってリラックスしなければなりませんでしたね。

Um, also when we originally booked a room with two beds but it was kind of small.

また、当初はベッドが2つある部屋を予約していたのですが、なんだか狭くて。

So we asked if there was any bigger rooms and they're very accommodating and showed us all these options in rooms and we got the biggest room available which was by the courtyard which is so lovely.

そこで、もっと大きな部屋はないかと尋ねたところ、とても親切に対応してくれて、部屋の選択肢をすべて示してくれました。そして、中庭側の一番大きな部屋を手に入れました。

So I'm gonna give you a quick tour.

それでは早速、ご案内していきたいと思います。

So right off the bat the lovely part about this room is this courtyard right out front of our room.

この部屋の魅力は、なんといっても部屋の目の前にある中庭です。

Look how beautiful that is.

It's just so nice. Alright, let's close that.

それはちょうどそうです......それはそんなに呼ばれています。

So again as I mentioned it's a brand new hotel so everything is super clean, smells really new.

冒頭でも述べたように、ここは新しいホテルなので、すべてが超清潔で、新しい香りがします。

Um, up front there is the entrance area where they have two chairs and a table where you can probably relax.

えーと、正面にはエントランスエリアがあり、そこには2つの椅子とテーブルが用意されていて、くつろぐことができます。

Maybe just look at the view if you would like.

好きな人は景色を見るだけでもいいかもしれません。

I only have like curtains up here too so you can have some privacy.

ここにもカーテンのようなものを設置しているだけなので、プライバシーを守ることができます。

And yeah, so this is a triple room.

そして、そう、これはトリプルルームなのです。

Um, but it's the biggest room, so that's why we wanted it.

でも、一番大きな部屋です。

Because the room with two beds, it just seemed a little too small for us, so that's why we wanted to upgrade a little bit.

2つのベッドがある部屋では、私たちには少し小さすぎるように思えたので、それを希望しました。だからこそ、少しでもアップグレードしたいと思ったのです。

And over there is the desk area. Where you can put your luggage. A really big TV.

そしてその向こうには、荷物を置くことができるデスクスペースと、本当に大きなテレビがあります。

I do like the lighting they have here.

そして、この照明が好きなんですね。

It kind of reminds me of the lighting in the newer airplanes where they have like different color lights slowly come on.

最近の飛行機では、さまざまな色のライトがゆっくりと点灯するようになっていますが、それを思い出します。

It really illuminates the room.

A pot to boil your water.

お湯を沸かすための鍋。

Lots of...a selection of teas and coffee in this drawer. I like how they do this, where it's visible what's in the drawer.

厳選されたチーズとコーヒーがたくさんあります。そして、この引き出しはどうやって作ったのか、どこにあるのか？ 引き出しの中は？

I really like this idea. How neat.

このアイデアがとても気に入っています......とてもすてきです。ふむふむ。

Oh and it's a soft closed door.

And then down here this is the fridge.

そして、この下には冷蔵庫があります。なるほど。

Okay, they have some water in there.

Very fancy fresh there.

As I mentioned, this is where we could lay our luggage. I always like these.

先に述べたように、ここで彼らの荷物を預かることができました。私はいつもこれが好きです。

And it looks like there's extra drawers inside here.

So you can save room.

Yeah, this is the door 2. I really like this.

Okay. And then here is a big closet.

Also some hangers. Yes, a lot of storage and shelves in here.

A couple of nightstan- actually, there is, since this is a triple room, there's three nightstands and I believe each one has an outlet. Yes they do. Wow, this is gonna be great.

2泊3日です。実際にはありませんでした。 トリプルルームなのでナイトスタンドが3つあり、それぞれにコンセントが付いていると思います。 ええ、そうですね、わあ、これはすごいことになりそうです。

Wait, there's four nightstands.

待てよ、4つのナイトダンスがあるじゃないか。

One, two, three, four.

My goodness that's a lot. Okay.

私の良さはたくさんあります。なるほど。

And in here is the bathroom. Very modern looking, except for the marble.

そしてこの中にあるバスルームは、大理石を除いてはとてもモダンな印象です。トルコはマーベルを使うのが好きなんだなと感じます。

I feel like Turkey loves to use marble.

Oh I love all the counter space here.

ここのカウンタースペースはとてもいいですね。

We've been lacking counter space in a lot of the hotels we've been staying in Turkey, and this is by far the most counter space we've had.

今までトルコで泊まったホテルの中で、ここが一番カウンタースペースがありませんでした。

Over on the other side is the shower. Wow, this is really nice.

反対側にはシャワーがあり、これは本当に素晴らしいです。

And also a handheld shower there. And here is all the toiletries. Got shower gel, conditioner, shampoo.

シャワー、コンディショナー、シャンプー、家庭用洗剤などのアメニティグッズも揃っていて、手持ちのスポンジも用意されています。うん。 mhm

I also love that they provide this handheld sponge. Those really come in handy.

And that is our room!

So I'm really looking forward to staying here.

だから、ここに滞在することをとても楽しみにしています。

We're staying a total of four nights, which is a pretty long time for me.

合計4泊の予定ですが、私にとってはかなりの長期滞在です。

Also, the main reason why we wanted to stay at this hotel as well is because they have a rooftop with a gorgeous view of the city and we really want to take some great photos on the rooftop somewhere in Istanbul and thought this was the perfect place to do it.

また、このホテルに泊まりたいと思った最大の理由は、街を一望できる屋上があり、イスタンブールのどこかの屋上で素敵な写真を撮りたいと思っていたので、それにぴったりの場所だと思ったからです。

So this is the terrace, the rooftop of Henna hotel. Look how beautiful it is!

これはホテルの屋上にあるテラスで、とても美しいですね。

So you get two sides to it.

つまり、2つの側面があるということです。

You get the side with the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque and then on the other side is the sea. And then each side is decorated with these nice pillows and couches and sofas.

アヤソフィアとブルーモスクのある側と、Cのある側、そしてそれぞれの側には、素敵な枕やソファが置かれています。

This is the seaside. I mean it's such a beautiful view.

これは海辺の話です。

And then you'll get some seagulls, maybe in your picture.

こんなに美しい景色が見られるのに、写真にはシーゲルが写っているかもしれませんね。

I wanna give you an update about Hannah hotel in Istanbul.

なぜ、イスタンブールのハンナ・ホテルの最新情報をお伝えしたのか？

It was amazing.

驚きの連続でした。

Um, I'm going to check out tomorrow morning.

明日の朝、チェックアウトしてきます。

Kathy already left, she just left about 30 minutes ago and I already miss her.

キャシーは30分前に出発したばかりで、すでに寂しい思いをしているが、私たちはこの滞在を十分に楽しみ、このようなホテルでこれほど歓迎されたことはないと言ったら、彼女も同意してくれるだろう。

But we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I think she could agree with me when I say that we have never felt so welcome in a hotel like this before.

I mean the the big hearts that they all have here, the staff is just wonderful! They're all amazing.

ここのスタッフは皆、大きな心を持っていて、とても素晴らしいですよ。

We really felt like they were our family! They were all so nice to us like we were, you know, old friends or, you know, distant relatives.

私たちは本当に家族のように感じました。みんな、まるで昔の友達か遠い親戚のように優しくしてくれました。

Um they always checked up on us to make sure we were ok, they were always feeding us! They have such great homemade desserts here and their food is excellent, too. Their chefs are just like top-notch!

いつも私たちのことを気にかけてくれて、食事を与えてくれて、自家製のデザートも美味しくて、料理人も一流で、もちろんスタッフも私たちを歓迎してくれて、マネージャーもそうですね。

Of course their staff have just gone above and beyond to make us feel very welcome.

And the manager, Yasemin, um I hope I'm saying that right, she let us know that Turkish people are usually like this, you know, they are very welcoming to any foreign guests.

彼女は、トルコの人々はたいていこのように、外国人客をとても歓迎すると言っていましたが、私はこのホテルが想定以上のことをしてくれたと感じています。

But I just feel like this hotel went above and beyond what they were supposed to do.

I mean they really treat their guests like family! Like, they made us feel like this is our home.

つまり、彼らは本当にゲストを家族のように扱い、ここが私たちの家であるかのように感じさせてくれたのです。

Um I swear half the time I was in Istanbul I just wanted to come back to the hotel and enjoy the hotel and talk to the staff again because it's just, it's so nice here, it's very comfortable, it's so clean.

イスタンブールに滞在していた時の半分は、ただホテルに戻ってきて、ホテルを楽しみ、スタッフと話したかった。

So I just got to tell you all the positives about this place.

だからこそ、この場所のポジティブな点をすべてお伝えしなければなりません。

I mean I actually don't think I have any negatives.

つまり、私は実際には何のマイナスもないと思っています。

Usually I have one con for a hotel, but this place has zero and I absolutely mean it from, like, truly from the bottom of my heart.

This was my favorite favorite hotels stay ever.

So just waiting to go over some things that I really liked.

First of all these beds were very comfortable.

Out of all the beds we slept on, in Turkey, and we went to several cities. This was by far the most comfortable beds we slept on.

Also the amount of outlets they provide.

また、コンセントの数も気になります。

Each nightstand here has an outlet with two USB outlets as well.

So I was able to charge everything at once, as you can see.

そのため、一度にすべてを充電することができました。

These are all the things that I always charge. My laptop, my portable wifi, my camera battery.

ご覧の通り、これらはすべて私がいつも充電しているものです。ノートパソコン、ポータブルWifi、カメラのバッテリー。

Um what else do I have? My phone!

And then over there I have my iPad I' need to charge before I leave.

So yeah always have lots of things to charge.

そう、常に充電するものがたくさんあるのです。

So this is so nice to have multiple places where I could charge things.

このように、充電できる場所が複数あるのはとても便利です。

Oh yeah and over there is my USB charger.

そうそう、その上にはUSB充電器があります。

What else? I really like this space where I can pop on my luggage and get my stuff easily.

他には？荷物をポンと置いて、簡単に荷物を取り出せるこのスペースがとても気に入っています。

And you know Cathy used this desk a lot for her work with her laptop. And we did have some coffee and that's the pot right there and I actually just boiled some hot water right now.

そして、キャシーはこの机を仕事によく使っていて、ノートパソコンを使っていました。また、コーヒーを飲みましたが、これはそこにあるポットで、今ちょうどお湯を沸かしているところです。

And if you want an iron and ironing board they will come down and give you one which they provided for us and left in our room for our entire stay.

また、アイロンやアイロン台を使いたい場合は、降りてきて渡してくれます。私たちのために用意してくれて、毎朝、滞在中ずっと部屋に置いてくれました。

Each morning they actually cleaned our rooms for us like really impeccably clean.

実際に部屋を掃除してくれて、本当に非の打ち所がないほどきれいにしてくれました。

So thank you staff again for that.

そのため、スタッフにも感謝しています。

And here's the closet again.

そして、再びクローゼットの中です。

I use this a lot as well to store my shoes and my extra clothes I was gonna wear the following days.

The bathroom was great.

バスルームも最高でした。

The shower especially was awesome.

特にシャワーは最高でした。

I just felt so refreshed after each shower I took, the water pressure is awesome.

ただ、シャワーを浴びるたびに爽快感があり、水の圧力も最高です。

Hot water all day long.

一日中、お湯が出る。

And yeah, I love that they also provided these scrubs here.

These actually are really great.

And of course all the toiletries they provide.

So yeah, if you're looking for a place to stay in Istanbul, this is the place to stay, at Henna Hotel Istanbul.
