I'm gonna show you my favourite spot to get anime and cosplay goods in Akihabara

You guys know that I'm a super big fan of Nakano Broadway

私は中野ブロードウェイの大ファンだけど

and absolutely love it, but the place that I'm going to show you today

今日紹介する店は

actually outdoes Nakano Broadway, in a few categories!

So the name of the building I'm giving you a tour of is Animate

今日紹介する建物の名前はアニメイトです！

They are just the pros of everything anime

アニメのプロです

We're on the 1st floor right now in the gacha section!

今は１階にいます！ガチャガチャコーナー！

Of course Veerle needs to try some gacha

ヴィーレもガチャガチャをやってみないとね！

This is my first time trying them!

初めてのガチャガチャだよ！

Ok that's exciting, I'm so excited for her haha

Oh gosh, that's the hardest part. They usually tape it

Ok so besides all the gacha machines

ガチャの以外には

the first floor is filled with LOTS of anime goods

いっぱいのアニメグッズが売ってます

I've noticed the 1st floor seems to carry mostly anime that is popular right at the moment

１階は今流行ってるアニメしかないかな

They don't really have any older stuff

古いアニメのグッズはない

If you're looking for an older anime I would try some of the upper floors

昔のアニメのグッズを探してるなら上の階の方がいいと思います

On the 1st floor right now is lots of Love Live stuff

１階はだいたいラブライブのグッズだね

That's probably one of the most popular anime in Japan at the moment

最近すごく流行ってるね！

So you'll see lots of that

なのでグッズがいっぱい

But they also had a couple other things

でも他の物も少々売ってました

like nail stickers and cat ears

ネイルシールとか、猫耳とか

Oh and this souvenir section had some really yummy looking cookies

そしてこのお土産コーナーのクッキー美味しそうでしたw

They also had sake with anime characters on it

「萌酒」もありますよー！w

Which I thought would make a cool souvenir

お土産としていいと思う！

Up on the second floor they have lots of anime DVDs

２階はアニメDVDいっぱいあります

and they have a small cosplay section

小さいコスプレコーナーも

but there's a much better one up on the 5th floor that I'll be showing you in a minute!

でも５階にはコスプレいっぱいあるから、それ後で見せるね！

What I like about the 2nd floor is they have lots of discounted anime goods

２階のいいところはセールのグッズいっぱいあります！

Lots of stuff with really good deals up there!

色々面白いもの売ってましたよ！

So I would say start on the higher floors and work your way down

なので、上の階から始めた方がいいかもね

And if you couldn't find what you wanted up there

欲しいもの見つからなかったら

then you could get some on the bottom floor

下行けばいいと思う

But the 1st floor was definitely a lot more expensive

１階はけっこう高いものばっかり

The 3rd floor is amazing because they have used stuff

３階ちょー好き！中古のグッズが多い

So again, it's a lot more affordable than new products

他のグッズより安いし

Lots of collectors dolls and stuff that you would not see for sale new anymore

コレクターの人形など、普段売ってないものがいっぱいあります

So if you're looking for older anime, check the 3rd floor for sure

昔のアニメグッズなら３階がいいと思う

They also had an amazing Pokemon plushie section!

ポケモンぬいぐるみもいっぱ〜い！

And lots of Pokemon figures!

フィギュアも！

This store definitely kicks Nakano's ass in Pokemon goods

ポケモングッズならここは中野よりいいと思う♪

So if you're looking for Pokemon stuff, I recommend this place

ポケモンならここがおすすめです♡

Look at all these adorable plushies!

この可愛いぬいぐるみ見て〜

Apparently these POP! dolls are popular overseas?

このPOP!フィギュアは海外で人気って聞きました

I've never seen them before but they have those as well

初めて見たけど、これを探してるんだったらアニメイトにありますよ♡

And lots of gacha toys!

ガチャガチャのフィギュアも！

Lots of hamsters for some reason... If you like hamsters!

なぜかハムスターがいっぱいw ハムスター好きな人が喜ぶねw

Oh this section! I love this place!

あっこのコーナー好き！

It's little kitchen figures? I don't know if you know what I mean

ミニキチンフィギュア？なんて言うんだろう

If you had a doll house, these would be great for stocking your doll house

ドールハウスにぴったりだね

Lots of really cute stuff!

可愛いのいっぱい！

And I found the Rilakkuma Cat Series!

リラックマのネコシリーズ発見♡

Which I was really excited about and wanted to buy all of it

全部めっちゃ買いたかったけど

But I resisted (T__T)

我慢しました（T＿＿T）

But it's here, so if you want it, you know where to get it!

The 4th floor seemed to specialise in figurines

４階はフィギュアが多い

So if you're looking for figurines, come up to the 4th floor!

フィギュアが欲しかったら４階へ！

Lots of used stuff

だいたい中古ものです

Pretty good prices, comparable to Nakano Broadway

値段は中野ブロードウェイと同じくらいかな？

The thing that I prefer about this store to Nakano Broadway

でも中野ブロードウェイの店はバラバラだから

It's all in one spot, so it's a lot easier to find something

こっちの方が探しやすいね！

Whereas with Nakano you have to go to each separate store

中野でなんか買おうとすると

it's like an adventure when you're looking for something

長い冒険が始まりますw

The 5th floor is the cosplay floor!

５階はコスプレです！

They have lots of great cosplay makeup!

メイクコーナーも！

and their wig selection is definitely the best that I've seen in Japan

ウイッグコーナーは素晴らしい！

Hundreds! Hundreds of wigs.

何百個も！

And lots of them are pre-styled to the characters

スタイルされてるウイッグもあるので

So if you're not good at styling wigs, you'll probably be able to find ones that are pre-styled here

ウイッグのスタイリングが苦手な人でも大丈夫です！

Lots of cool accessories like shoes and ribbons

靴やリボンなど、色んなアクセサリーもあります

Basically anything you would need for cosplay, the 5th floor will have it

コスプレに必要なものあればここで売ってると思う！

Lots of really cute Sailor Moon costumes!

Costumes from basically any anime

I saw costumes from older anime, current anime...

昔のアニメも、最新のアニメも

They had weapons! Check out the weapons section

This is just like a cosplayer's dream

They all looked really good quality and they weren't very expensive

品質も良さそうだったし、値段も悪くない

We spent a really long time inside and there's so much to see!
