- I got surprised with a trip to Vegas.

- Flowers leading from the front door all the way to the bedroom.

花を玄関から廊下、ベッドルームにまで敷き詰めて。

- He popped out of the bedroom closet dressed up as one of my favorite anime characters.

ベッドルームのクローゼットから私の大好きなアニメキャラの格好で飛び出してきて。

- [Off-Camera] Did he stay in the costume for sex?

- Yes, yes he did.

- He gave me a ruby heart.

- A ruby ring.

- Cologne and a card.

コロンとカード。

- A ticket, say for example, free massage.

チケットみたいなもの、例えば無料マッサージ券とか。

- He brought me a rose and a teddy bear.

バラの花束とテディベアを買ってくれましたね。

- Teddy bear.

- Big stuffed animal.

おっきなぬいぐるみ。

- I had to carry this bear around that was part of the deal.

その代わりにテディベアを私が抱えて歩かなきゃいけないって言われて。

I was like, "Um, no."

私は「ってか無理」みたいな。

- Oh boy.

- Ooh, guy that I had a crush on came up to me and handed me a card and asked me to give it to my best friend.

あー、そうそう。私の好きだった人が私のところにきてカードを手渡して、これを私の親友に渡してくれって言われたことがある。

- [Off-Camera] Oof.

[聞き手] キツいな。

- I had a singing-gram supposed to happen with the flower and the guy showed up and he was drunk and it was terrible--

花を持った歌付きのインスタグラムをしようと思ってたら、酔っ払いがやってきて最悪になって。

- He brought me chocolates and he said, "Oh, my mom bought this for you."

私にチョコレートくれて「あ、これ俺の母さんから」とか言うんですよ。

He definitely was looking at other women.

間違いなく別の女の人の事を見てて

I was so pissed off, I couldn't talk the rest of the night.

本当に腹が立ったから、その晩はもう話をしたくなかったですね。

- We ended up getting in a fight and it just turned into an epic battle royale on Valentine's Day.

ケンカに巻き込まれて、結局バレンタインデーの日に最大のバトルロワイヤルに発展しちゃって。

So that was not fun.

あれは良い思い出じゃないですね。

- My ex-girlfriend I had broke up with me on Valentine's Day.

元カノにバレンタインデーにフラれました。

- [Off-Camera] Oof.

- Well, I broke up with my sweet little fourth grade boyfriend on Valentine's Day.

えっと、4年生の時に大好きな彼とバレンタインデーにサヨナラしました。

Even though it turns out that he had mowed a shit on of lawns so that he could buy me stuff that I wouldn't wear.

彼は死ぬほど芝刈りをして、私が着たくないような服を買ってくれたんだけど。

- [Off-Camera] Do you have a worst Valentine's Day?

[聞き手]最悪のバレンタインデーの思い出とかありますか？

- You know what?

えっとね。

Last Valentine's Day, we didn't do anything.

去年のバレンタインデーは、何もしなかったですよ。

- I had expectation of grand insane things happening and--

私としてはなんかこう盛大にやって欲しかったんですけど、

- My ex-husband just wanted to take me to a food court.

別れた旦那は、ただフードコートに食べに行こうみたいな感じで。

- I think I cried.

多分泣いたんじゃないかな。

- I was like, "We're ordering Chinese food "and watching a movie, surprise!"

ボクは「中華頼んで映画観ようか、ジャジャーン！」みたいな感じで。

- She spent the whole day telling me about how the date wasn't up to her standards--

1 日中いかに彼女自身のスタンダードに足りないデートだったか聞かされて

- Three days later, she broke up with me.

3 日後に別れを切り出されました。

- [Off-Camera] Do you have a Valentine's Day horror story?

[聞き手]バレンタインデーの悲惨な話とかありますか？

- Horror stories from Valentine's Day?

バレンタインデーの悲惨な話？

- [Off-Camera] Yeah.

[聞き手]はい。

- It was a really bad snowstorm--

すごい吹雪の日で…

- The car got stuck and then she had to go to the bathroom really bad--

車が止まっちゃったんだけど、彼女がトイレにすごくいきたくなっちゃって。

- We went to a restaurant.

レストランに行ったんですけど

His ex-girlfriend followed him there.

彼の元カノがつけてきて。

And she's like, "This is my restaurant."

そしたら「ここ私のレストランなんだけど」みたいな。

- I had gotten into almost half of my meal and I pulled out of my mouth the longest black hair of my life.

食事の半分ぐらいのところで、今までで一番長い黒い髪の毛が口から出てきて。

And it was just like this long.

これくらい長くて

And I was just like (gags)

私はもう「グエ」ってなって。

- And it instantly made me vomit.

その場で吐きましたよ。

- He thought he had appendicitis and we were at the hospital for four hours.

彼は自分が虫垂炎にかかったと思って、病院に4時間いたんですけど

But he really was just constipated.

実際はただの便秘でした。

Yeah.

ホントに。

- [Off-Camera] How do you feel about Valentine's Day?

- Oh, don't get me started on that.

いやー、その話はさせないでよ。

- It's overrated.

騒ぎ過ぎですね。

- Kind of overrated.

ちょっと騒ぎ過ぎですね。

- I don't really care.

私は気にしないですよ。

I can show someone I love them every day.

大切な人には毎日その事伝えられるから。

- I miss the old days of elementary school.

昔の小学校の頃が懐かしいですよね。

- And then everybody would get Valentine's cards.

皆がバレンタインデーのカードをもらえて。

- There was this guy that I had a crush on that I paid strict attention to what card he had given me--

私が好きだった男の子が私にどんなカードをくれたらきっちりチェックしたりして。

- I think that was the best it got.

ボクがもらったので一番のヤツは

Was like a hand-written card.

手書きのカードみたいな。

- I love Valentine's Day.

バレンタインデーは好きですよ。

It's like Christmas but for couples.

カップルのためのクリスマス、みたいな感じで。

- Yeah, it's just a time to be reminded that some things are special.

特別なものがあるというのを思い出させてくれる日ですよね。

- Just the whole idea of love and caring--

愛とか思いやりとかを考える日ですね。

- [Off-Camera] What's your ideal Valentine's Day?

[聞き手] あなたにとって理想のバレンタインデーとはどんなものですか？

- My ideal Valentine's Day.

私にとっての理想のバレンタインデー、か。

- You know having fun with someone.

まあ、誰かと楽しい時を過ごすことですよね。

- Flowers are always good.

花をもらうのはいつも嬉しいですね。

- I want fondue, I've never tried fondue.

フォンデュが欲しいです。1回も試したことないから。

- I just like feeling loved--

ただ愛されている事を感じたいです。

- As long as we spend intentional time together--

その日のために一緒に過ごすことができればいいです。

- I like intimacy.

近くに居たいんです。

- [Off-Camera] You with anybody right now?

[聞き手] 今は誰かと付き合ってますか？

- No.

いや。

- This Valentine's Day I think I'm celebrating with my friends.

今年のバレンタインデーは友だちとお祝いすると思います。

- And we're just like, "You know what, "let's just do something for us."

私たちはこう「何かさ、何でもいいからしようよ」って。

- Getting stuff for my friends.

友だちのために何か買ってあげるかな。

- Just spend it with the homies.
