So my friend Taylor recently did a 50 Things About Me video

友達のテイラーが「私について５０のこと」という動画をアップしたので

and I thought it was about time I did one

私も作ろうかなーと思いました

because you guys don't really know anything about me

自分についてあんまり話してないからね〜！

So yeah! Let's do it!

スタート！

I am Canadian! I am from Victoria, BC

カナダ出身です！ビクトリアというところで生まれました

It is a town on the west coast

西海岸にあります

It's on an island, it's a really beautiful place

島にあるんですけど、とても綺麗なところですよ！

I have one sister! She is younger than me

妹一人います

And we have the exact same voice

声が全く一緒ですw

So when we answer the phone our friends will just assume that it's the person they want to talk to

電話を出るとよく間違えられて

and just start talking to us

妹の友達が私に話したりしますw

The only things I like to drink are water, tea and juice

水、お茶、フルーツジュースしか飲まないです

and sometimes hot chocolate

あと時々、ホットココア

I don't really like carbonated drinks or drinks with sugar in them

炭酸と砂糖が入ってる飲み物が苦手で

So I really don't like soda

コーラとかすごく苦手です

I don't drink much alcohol and I don't really like coffee

酒もあんまり飲まないし、コーヒーもあんまり好きじゃないです

But I am a big tea drinker, I am such a tea addict

でもお茶中毒です❤︎

My favourite ice cream flavour is cotton candy

一番好きなアイスはコットンキャンディ味

The only 2 types of music that I listen to regularly are metal and k-pop

よく聞く音楽はメタルとKPOPだけです

My favourite number is 4

好きな数字は４です

But in Japan 4 represents death so it's kind of awkward

でも日本ではあんまりいい数字ではないよねーw

Tofu and broccoli are two of my top favourite foods

豆腐とブロッコリーが大好物です

I don't like any hard candies, including lollipops

硬い飴が好きじゃないです〜　ロリポップとかも

I don't know why, I've never liked them

ずっと前から苦手でした

I have a skin disorder called Vitiligo

「尋常性白斑」という

Which means my skin loses patches of pigment in random areas all over my body

肌の一部の色素を失ってしまう慢性的な皮膚疾患を持ってます

You guys commented once, you saw it on my hand

前手にあるところに誰か気づいたんだけど

I don't know if you can tell here, but see how it's whiter than the rest of my hand?

見えるかな？白くなってる部分

I'm lucky because I'm really pale to start with, so you can't really notice it

私はもともとすごく白いので、ラッキーです

But I also have a big patch around my eye here

目の周りも白くなってるけど

So when I'm not wearing makeup you can kind of see that

すっぴんの時しかわからないです

If I don't get a tan it's not really that noticeable so I don't mind it

日焼けしなければあんまり目立たないので

But I do try to avoid getting a tan

日焼けしないようにいつも頑張ってます

because it becomes really obvious when the rest of my skin is a darker colour

日焼けしてしまうとすごく目立ちます

I'm not a big TV watcher

テレビあんまり見ないけど

But the only shows that I really enjoy watching are ones that are about ghosts or aliens

幽霊とエイリアンについての番組が大好きですw

One of my favourite movies is called The Game

「The Game」という映画がすごく好きです

I recommend watching it if you haven't seen it yet

I used to be horribly addicted to Neopets

昔、ネオペットというパソコンゲームにすごくハマりましたw

When I say horribly I mean from the moment I woke up until I went to sleep I would play Neopets

朝から夜まで一日中ネオペットをやりました

I had a guild and I had all the rare items

ギルドも持ってたし、珍しいアイテム全部持ってたし

I kicked ass at that game

すごく上手だったw

And to be honest I kinda miss it

正直またやりたいなーw

I am a chapstick addict

リップクリーム中毒です

I probably own about 30 of them

３０個ぐらい持ってます

If I go out and I realize that I forgot to bring my chapstick with me

出かけてる時に忘れてしまったら

I will buy a new one

必ず買いに行きますw

My favourite pokemon is Paras because he has the cutest voice ever

一番好きなポケモンはパラスです。声が可愛いのでw

90% of my wardrobe is either black, white or grey

持ってる服の９０％が黒、白、かグレー色です

And the other 10% is crazy bright colours or pastels

他の１０％はすごく派手な色かパステル色です

I am 165cm tall

165センチです

I didn't have a cell phone all through high school

高校の時ケータイ持ってなかったです

and the first time I got one I was 19 years old

初めて買った時は１９歳でした

That was like my 3rd year in university

大学３年生の時ですねw

I can't sleep unless my room is pitch black

部屋を真っ暗にしないと寝られないです

And it bothers me so much when people put on music when they go to sleep

あと、音楽消さないと寝られないです

I would sleep over at my friend's house and they would put on music when it was time for bed

友達の部屋に泊まった時いつも音楽つけていたけど

And I could not sleep because I'll focus on the music

寝られなくてすっごい

OMG it drives me insane

ムカついてましたw

I love horror movies

ホラー映画が大好きです

95% of the movies I watch are horror movies

見る英語の９５％がホラー映画です

I've probably seen every horror movie that was ever made, pretty much

すべてのホラー映画もう見ちゃったかも

And I still haven't found any that I really enjoy, they're never scary enough

でも怖さがいつも足りない

Roller coasters scare the hell out of me and I hate them

ジェットコースターが怖すぎて大嫌いです

I don't script any of my videos (except for this one)

動画のため台本は作らないです（この動画以外）

Because there was no way that I could remember 50 things

（こっちは長くて全部覚えるのは無理だからw）

But I absolutely hate writing so I will avoid it at all costs

書くのは大嫌いだから

I used to have my nose, my lip, and my tragus pierced

前は花、唇、と耳珠のピアスをしました

But I took them out when I came to Japan because people aren't very accepting of piercings here

でも日本でピアスをするのはあんまり良くないので、外しました

And I probably wouldn't have been able to get any work

そうしないと仕事できなかったと思う

I used to love the Ninja Turtles when I was little (and I still do)

忍者タートルズがすごく好きでした

My favourite was Raphael and I was pretty much in love with him

ラファエロが大好きだった

I honestly have no plans for the future

将来の計画を全然立ててないです

The only thing that I know is that I want a house with at least 4 cats in it

でもわかってるのは、家と猫４匹が欲しい

I was in university for about 10 years. 10 YEARS guys.

１０年間大学通ってました

I completed 2 degrees and another tourism program

二つの学士ともう一つの学位を持ってます

I just couldn't decide what I wanted to do

どんな仕事がしたいか決められなかったです

I would finish a program and then be like "Eh. I don't really wanna work in a job related to this"

一つのプログラムを卒業したら、やっぱりこういう仕事したくないなーと思っちゃって

And then I would start something else, and something else

他のことを勉強することにして、またそれを繰り返したりして

And yeah it added up to about 10 years

トータルで１０年間ぐらいになっちゃいました

And I'm really excited to be all finished with it now

やっと全部終わらせて幸せです

because I hate studying in school, I can't stand it

学校で勉強するのは好きじゃないので

My birthday is April 23rd I'm a taurus

誕生日は４月の２３日で、おうし座です

Unlike my profile on Famous Birthdays says, I am not 30 I am still 29

「Famous Birthdays」というサイトには私が３０歳だと書いてあるんですが、それは間違えです。２９歳です！

I played jazz saxophone for 5 years

５年間ジャズサックスをやりました

I played alto and I also played baritone

アルトとバリトン両方やりました

and it was my favourite thing ever!

とても好きでした

But when I left high school I didn't really have any opportunity to play it anymore

でも高校が終わったらやる機会がなくなって

So I stopped... and I really miss it

やりなくなった。またやりたいなー

I used to have platinum blonde hair, and I really loved it

前髪をプラチナブロンド色に染めました

And I always think about dying it again

またやりたいなーといつも思ってるけど

But the upkeep is pretty intense so I'm not sure if I ever will

維持費は大変なので、多分やらないと思います

I love cleaning! Vacuuming and organising...

掃除するのが好きです！

Honestly everything except for doing the dishes

皿洗い以外は全部好きですw

I think it's gross, I don't like touching them

皿を触るのが気持ち悪くて、嫌だ

So if you come to my house you'll probably notice that the dishes are never washed

だから私の部屋はいつも洗ってない皿がおいてある

I kinda just leave them there until I have no dishes left and then I'll do them

皿がすべてなくなるまで洗わない時もあるw

Because I hate getting my hands dirty

手を汚させたくないから

I was a carpenter for about ten years in Canada

カナダで１０年間ぐらい大工の仕事をしてたけど

It's probably the worst job for me

私にはあんまり合ってない仕事だね

Because every time I would get something on my hands, I would have to go wash them

手に汚れが付いたら、すぐ洗いに行きました

and the person that I worked with it would drive him insane

一緒に働いてる人はそれがすごい嫌いだったw

But I just hate the feeling of having dirty hands

でも手になんか付いてるのがすごく嫌です！

I'm addicted to an app called Line Play

Line Playというアプリにすごくハマってます

And I'm not even addicted to the main part of it

メインのゲームじゃなくて

I'm addicted to the little bonus game called Fruit Monsters

Fruit Monstersというミニゲームが好きです

If any of you have played it you probably know how addictive it is

やってる人はわかるはずだけど、すごくハマっちゃいます

I'm on level 250 or something

今はレベル２５０とかかな？

and it's getting kinda crazy, I play it every night before I go to bed

寝る前に必ずやります

I hate hot weather

暑い天気が大嫌いです

The summer in Japan drives me crazy

日本の夏はとても苦手です

I just wanna stay inside and never leave my house

ずっと部屋から出たくないぐらい

I have horrible eyesight and I own several pairs of glasses

目があんまり見えてないですw メガネを持ってるけど

But I never wear them because I don't like how they look

好きじゃないから、いつも掛けない

The only countries I have visited are America, Cuba, Germany, Korea and Japan

行ったことある国はアメリカ、キューバ、ドイツ、韓国、と日本しかないです

and I would like to visit lots more because I love travelling

旅行するのが大好きなので、これから色々行きたいです

I absolutely hate the smell of perfumes

香水の匂いが嫌いです

Unless they are cotton candy or fruit scented

でもコットンキャンディやフルーツ香りだったら大丈夫

My favourite computer game is Commander Keen

一番好きなパソコンゲームは「Commander Keen」というゲームです

I don't know if anyone else out there knows it

知ってる人いるかな〜？

But I used to play it so much that I could get through the first level with my eyes closed

やりすぎてて、目をつぶっててもレベル１をクリアすることができますw

My favourite holiday is Halloween because I love dressing up

コスチュームを着るのが大好きなので、一番好きなイベントはハロウィンです

I absolutely love hiking and walking

散歩とハイキングをするのが大好きです

I could walk all day long and not get tired, I think it's really fun

楽しいから一日中やっても疲れないです

and that's where I get most of my exercise

運動としていつも散歩してます

I read every single one of my comments on YouTube probably about 10 times each

すべてのコメントを１０回ぐらい読みます

because the comment system sucks

YouTubeのコメント欄が壊れてるので

and even when you click "Newest Comments" it doesn't show you the newest comments

「最新コメント」をクリックしても最新のやつが出てこないので・・・

and I'm always coming back to check them, even comments on old videos

古い動画でもまた読みに来ます

So rest assured, I read every single one of your comments

My favourite childhood movies are The Neverending Story and Labyrinth

子供の頃一番好きな映画は「The Neverending Story」と「Labyrinth」でした

My favourite part about myself is my nails

自分の一番好きなところは爪です

They have always been really long and easy to grow and they're really strong

強いから伸ばすのが簡単だし

and the shape is always nice

形はきれいです

I always have them painted

いつも色塗ってます

I didn't have nail polish on my nails for about a whole week this year

今年１週間ぐらい色を塗っていない

And I think that was the first time in 5 years that I've done that

時あったけど

and it felt weird. I just love having my nails painted

すごく変な感じでした。やっぱり色塗らないとw

I love Japanese sports cars

日本のスポーツカーが大好きです

My favourites are Nissan Skyline R-32 and 34, Silvia S15 and Toyota Supra

スカイラインR３２・３４、シルビアS１５、トヨタスープラが一番好きです

I used to be obsessed with wrestling

高校の時プロレスがすごく好きだった

My favourite wrestlers were Hulk Hogan (when he was called that)

ハルクホーガン

and more recently, The Rock

とザ・ロックが好きだった

I love staying inside

部屋で時間を過ごすのが好きです

I would much rather spend the day inside playing video games and watching a movie

I can speak a little Chinese

中国語も話せます

Even though there is a cat bus in Totoro, my favourite Ghibli movie is Princess Mononoke

トトロに猫バスがあるけど、一番好きなジブリ映画はもののけ姫です

One of my goals while living in Japan that I haven't completed yet is learning how to play tsugaru shamisen

日本にいる間、津軽三味線を習いたいです

My favourite YouTubers to watch are PDR-san and Abroad in Japan

一番好きなユーチューバーはPDR-SanとAbroad in Japanです

because I love their sense of humour

ユーモアが似てるので

I hate white sugar and I don't put it on anything

白砂糖が嫌いで、全く使わないです

If I want to sweeten something I will always use honey

甘くしたい時はハチミツを使います

I absolutely hate flying in airplanes

飛行機が怖くて苦手です

That's horrible for me because I fly quite often for work and for travel because I love travelling

仕事やプライベートでよく乗ってるけど

But yeah, I somehow get through it

怖くても乗れてます

I don't let it hold me back from going places, because that would suck

怖いからと言って、どこにも行かなかったら最悪だからな〜

But I'm so terrified and I think I'm going to die every time

でも怖すぎて、毎回絶対死ぬと思ってますw
