  • A few months ago my friend Kazu told me about a trip he was planning to do

  • a hike through Japan's deepest gorge at the height of fall.

  • Kurobe Gorge is located in Toyama Prefecture, a 6 hour overnight drive to the northwest of Tokyo to the other side of Japan.

  • And we are on our 2 hour train ride.
