今日オラは簡単に近況報告をしたいと思ってるぞ

Just wanted thio kind of give you guys a quick update on what's going on.

まずは、いつもサポートしてくれてるみんなに 感謝の気持ちを伝えてぇ

First of all, I wanted to say thank you to all of you for supporting the channel and making it what it is today and just showing up every weekend to see what's going on here in Japan.

みんなのお陰でこのチャンネルが 成り立ってるからな　　

Yeah, and I brought this guy along.

毎週、オラは日本がどんな感じかを伝えてきたよな

As you know, my baby Wolverine was born last May.

今日はこいつも一緒だぞ

It's been four months now.

オラの息子、ウルバリンは今年の5月に生まれたんだ

It's been kind of a crazy four months watching this guy grow a lot of sleepless nights, but it's been an awesome journey.

もう４ヶ月だぞ

Just seeing this guy learn all these cool new skills.

こいつがぐんぐん成長したこの４ヶ月は まさにクレイジーに過ぎていったな

I never expected how involved it would be being a parent.

寝れねぇ日がいっぺー続いたし

But I'm all in.

でもこいつと一緒に過ごす日々は最高だった

This guy is so awesome.

新しいことがいっぺーできるようになったしな　　

Are you hungry right now?

オラは親としてどのくらい子供と関わっていくのか 想像してなかったけど

Yeah.

全面的に関わってくぞ こいつサイコーだもんな

All right, So let me continue on.

いいか、スーパーマン！？

You know, when I was growing up, I remember my parents working their ass off to give you a little bit of background.

バイバイするんだ

I was only three years old when we immigrated to the States from the Philippines, and my parents pretty much started off with nothing.

よっしゃ、じゃあ続きを話すぞ

My dad started off in the States, working as a janitor at schools and my mom as a waitress, and I can Onley imagine how difficult it was for them raising three Children in a new country with barely any money.

オラが子供の頃さ、オラの両親は いつも仕事で忙しくしてたのを覚えてるんだ

So I will be forever grateful for all of their sacrifices.

簡単にオラの生い立ちを話すな　

But because they had to work so hard, I didn't get a lot of time to spend with them growing up.

オラがフィリピンからアメリカに移住したのは まだ３歳の頃でさ　　　

And now, since my turn this time around, I want to do things a little bit differently, and I want to spend as much time as possible with Wolfie and just watch him grow up.

オラの両親は何もないところからのスタートだったんだ

The last thing I want to do is be one of those dads that's never around, and I know that in Japan it's super common for the dad to goto work every day and for the mom to stay home.

オラのとーちゃんは学校の清掃をしてて

In fact, it's so common that they have a word here in Japan called one open, which means one operation.

かーちゃんはウェイトレスだった　

So the wife basically takes care of the Cato all by herself.

三人の子供を育てながらだから 相当大変だっただろうな

But since Michael and I are full time creators, we have the opportunity to raise our child together, which we plan on doing.

知らない国でほとんど金がない状況だったから

And these last couple of months, releasing a video every week has just been a bit overwhelming.

オラは両親がしてくれたことには 感謝しきれねぇと思ってる　

So it's a little bit sad to say, but I'm going to be taking a break from YouTube to spend more time with my family.

でもさ、二人はいっぺー働いて多分 オラは一緒に時間を過ごすことができなかったんだ

At least this week I'll be taking a break, so I'll be back next week as usual.

今度はオラが親の立場になったから オラの両親とは違うやり方で行こうと思ってる

Saturday.

可能な限りウルフィーと時間を過ごして 成長を見届けたいと思ってる

9 a.m. Japan Standard time with my regular Japan content, more food tours and even more day in the life videos, I've got some really cool people in cool jobs lined up.

いつもいない親には絶対になりたくないんだ　

It's just been a really monster trying to get things coordinated during this pandemic.

日本ではとーちゃんが毎日仕事に行って かーちゃんが家にいるってのが当たり前だろ

I mean, originally, it was a challenge trying to get people to do a dental live video.

実際、よくあるからワンオペって言葉があるくらいだ

But now, with everything that's going on the world, it is incredibly difficult.

ワンオペレーションの略で、 かーちゃんが一人で全部育児をするって意味だな

But nonetheless, I got more stuff coming for you also.

オラとマイコはフルタイムクリエイターだから

I know that we're a little behind on the second channel Tokyo zebra.

二人で協力して育児をして行こうって話してるんだ

I think it won't be is only about one week old, but we are catching up.

It's my first time driving here in Japan with Wolfie in the back seat back on.
