  • Hey, guys.

  • Still just getting the studio set up here.

  • Bear with me.

  • For now, the rainy season has just hit Tokyo.

  • So I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to cover 25 things to do in Tokyo in the rain.

  • We're gonna go really quick and do these kind of rapid fire mode.

  • So hang tight jumping in right off the bat with one of my favorites.

  • There is a place called Trampoline Land.

  • You heard it.

  • Trampoline land.

  • I think the name speaks for itself.

  • So we're gonna go onto the next one, which is the still wildly undiscovered Tokyo Underground from Tokyo Station all the way to Ginza.

  • There's an entire underground shopping paradise was also one similar in Shinjuku.

  • I did a video on it.

  • I will link it right up here.

  • The rainy weather is also a perfect opportunity to check out areas like Neck Anil Broadway, which is again an otaku or shopping paradise or basically any covered arcade.

  • There's also a lot of covered arcades, streets in areas like a success.

  • And speaking of arcade game centers and arcades are fantastic thing to do to pass the time on a rainy day.

  • And speaking of game centers, you can also make your way of to Akihabara.

  • I didn't know this until my little brother came to visit, but a lot of those shops actually have, like 678 floors of stuff to explore.

  • Zaki Habitat is great.

  • Recently similar to overseas escape rooms have become really popular in Japan, so those are a great option.

  • Some of them even have English escape room games and rainy days are amazing chance to check out an onsen or sento like a public bath.

  • There's even a really good one in no diable, which is like an own sen theme park.

  • Japan also has amazing indoor game and sports centres where you can do things like bolding batting.

  • One of my favorites is round one.

  • You confined places like this, kind of on the outskirts of Tokyo or in areas like Odaiba.

  • Now old Eva itself is an amazing place to be.

  • There's no shortage of shopping centers in places to explore within Odaiba.

  • In fact, a really good one toe look into to see if there's any events is the Tokyo big sight.

  • They always have animate conventions and stuff or you can take a look at Marco Huddy, Miss A in Chiba.

  • It's a little bit outside of Tokyo, but they also hold a lot of great events now.

  • While museums and galleries might not be for everybody, Team Lambs has done that really fancy, one that we've definitely all seen on YouTube or Instagram with all the crazy lights and mirrors everywhere.

  • So that's a great one to check out if you can get in or you can just kick back and go to a movie, Mind you.

  • From this month June of 2019 they actually raise movie prices just slightly for the first time in something like 20 years.

  • So if you reversed the price, another option is to go check out an Internet cafe, where you can get like your own private little booth.

  • Sit down.

  • You get a computer, you can watch movies, Netflix or whatever you want.

  • They also have drink machine, and some of the good ones even have all you can eat self serve ice cream or miso soup.

  • Now the towers are an obvious choice.

  • Tokyo Tower is pretty good.

  • It does have a shopping area.

  • And what not in there.

  • The view won't be great.

  • I personally prefer going out to Sky Tree and at the base of the sky tree.

  • There's an area called So Much E, which is just basically an entire shopping and adventure town.

  • It's worth checking out of.

  • You haven't been there for those who love to sing.

  • Cut.

  • Okay is obviously a good option.

  • And I've heard that libraries are a great way to spend a rainy day in Tokyo.

  • I've never been to one myself, but I have a friend who says that rainy days are for the library net.

  • Within areas like Ikea, Bukos, Sunshine City, you can find things like the non Jew town theme park.

  • And probably the best part of the entire place is the weird flavored ice creams that they have.

  • Their you can try like snake flavor and scorpion sand.

  • Just a whole bunch.

  • It's neat or, and this one's more for residents than visitors.

  • You can hit up one of the big box stores like I Kia, or, if you have a membership Costco.

  • I still don't even have a Costco membership.

  • I need to get one sniffer photographers.

  • This is a perfect opportunity to take a day trip out to West Tokyo or even outside of Tokyo, because this is where you gonna get the beautiful foggy, rainy mountain shots or even just stick around Tokyo and get some of those beautiful night shots or the water.

  • Reflecting the neon lights of the city is one of my favorite things to do, one that I didn't think of.

  • But my buddy Taylor tried a little while back is something like a workshop or a cooking class.

  • There's no shortage of different classes available in Tokyo, and they're all online and easy to find.

  • So maybe go out for the day and learn something a little bit of a unique one.

  • Some temples and shrines have, like one day kind of meditation style event that you can part taking that make to be really interesting experiences for people who haven't done it before.

  • A personal favorite of mine is go check out a sumo match if you have not done so already.

  • Sumo is a great way to spend the day, but it's obviously gonna be kind of seasonals.

  • They don't do them, you're out.

  • Bar hopping is a great option.

  • I'm gonna leave a video right here about different areas to drink in.

  • Ah sucks it in case you want to check it out.

  • And the last one, Number 25 is to enjoy a quiet lunch in a fancy place.

  • Places like Evie scarred in place tower, the 38 39th floor have gorgeous restaurants that at dinner are very expensive.

  • But during lunchtime, a relatively cheap like 10 to $15 or 2000 to 1500 yen and on rainy days, they tend to be a lot quieter and easier to get into.

  • If you really break them apart, there's probably more like 30 or 40 things to do in there.

  • But I hope it helps.

  • I did do a video like this a couple of years ago, but this kind of content feels it should beam or short form so that you can just get some ideas.

  • So I hope you enjoyed this one.

  • If you did, definitely give that like, button some love.

  • If you're new to the channel, I'd say subscribe.

  • Go check out one or two more videos.

  • I love a good binge.

  • I'm gonna get back to trying to get this place set up, so I will see you guys again real soon.

Hey, guys.
