We are just getting ready to hop on a ferry

これからフェリーを乗って

over to Noko Island.

能古島に向かいます！

Noko Island, or Nokonoshima, is a very, very beautiful

能古島はすごく綺麗な

little island.

小さな島です。

It is one of the easiest islands to get to

福岡市から最も行きやすい島ですよね。

from Fukuoka City if you're looking for a day trip,

なので、日帰り旅行にはピッタリです。

or a way to spend a beautiful, sunny day in Fukuoka City.

天気の良い日にはぜひ、オススメしたいです。

We're gonna grab some lunch, go check out the park,

能古島までの運航は１時間ごとにありますが

The ferry between the island and the main land runs

もし、間に合わなかったとしても

once every hour, but if you happen to miss it,

海上タクシーを捕まったら

you can hire a water taxi to send you to the island

500円で行く事もできます。

for only 500 yen, or 5 dollars instead.

あそこにある島見えますか？

We are going to head to the closest one over there.

フェリーで10分ぐらいかかる、かな？

- So, the ferry between Meinohama Port and Noko Island

能古島！

only takes about ten minutes,

今日みたいな天気の良い日には

but on a perfect day, like today,

やっぱ外が暖かくて

where it's really warm outside,

海風がすごく気持ち良いんだよね。

and the sun is shining, and the wind feels so nice.

フェリーから降りたら、次はそのままバスを

Once you've set foot on the island, you can take a bus

乗って、アイランドパークに向かうことができますが

to the Island Park, or you can explore the island on foot,

さっきに島のお洒落なカフェやレストランで食事して

stopping at one of the local cafe's and restaurants

島の文化を少し味わえることもできます。

to get a feel for the local culture

しかし、 ほとんどのお店が１７時に終わってしまうので、

港の方で満喫したら、次はバスに乗って

When you're done exploring the harbor, hop on a bus,

アイランドパークに向かうと

and head to Nokonoshima Island Park for some spectacular

福岡市を一覧できる綺麗な景色を楽しむことができます。

さて、能古島アイランドパークまでは、 バスが230円かかり

So, the bus to Nokonoshima Island Park costs about 230 yen,

片道13分から15分かかります。

one-way, and takes about 13 to 15 minutes.

港から約3キロ離れているので

It is a three kilometer island,

やっぱりバスで行った方が一番良いかな。

so, you might want to actually just pay to catch the bus,

しかしバス間に合わなかったら、 タクシーで行くこともできます！

but if you miss the bus, you could take a taxi as well.

能古島アイランドパークは、最後のバス停であるので

Nokonoshima Island Park is the last stop on the bus route,

間違って過ごすことはないでしょう。

so, don't worry, your stop will be hard to miss.

公園の入場料が1200円かかります！

The cost to enter the park is 1,200 yen.

結構広い公園ですが１７時半に閉店してしまうので、

It is a fairly large park, but it closes at 5:30 pm,

so, you have to make sure that you allow yourself

昼過ぎに帰ってきて過ごしたいよね。

or even catch a beautiful night view of Fukuoka City.
