This is a very strange victory day in Russia.
Normally here on Red Square, you'd see thousands of Russian troops marching along on hundreds of pieces of military equipment.
But as you can see, it's completely empty.
And that's because the pandemic has postponed the big military parade.
But there was a fly past, though, by the Russian Air force 75 aircraft marking 75 years since the defeat of Nazi Germany President Putin.
He lay flowers at the tomb of the unknown soldier.
Onda made an address to the nation, he said.
We are invincible when we are united.
A very different picture.
In neighboring Belarus, President Lukashenko decided to push ahead with his Victory Day parade, a controversial decision considering the high rate of Corona virus infections in Belarus.
As for Russia, will this country still determined that this day will be a celebration because Victory Day is the most important national holiday in Russia?
