- Ordering McDonald's in 20 English accents. Oh, hello. I don't normally frequent McDonald's,
I must be honest, but I rather fancy a sort of hamburger, you know, a sort of hamburger.
Perhaps with a little slice of cheese, you know, cheese in there, perhaps a hamburger
with cheese. Yes, boss. Can I get, like, some Chicken McNuggets, please? Can I get a cheeseburger
and a side of fries as well, please? That's right, make that a double cheeseburger. I'm
feeling a little bit devil-may-care. So, yeah, a double cheeseburger. And perhaps some potatoes.
What would you call... Oh, of course, that's french fries. Yes, some french fries as well
would be delightfully young man. Can I get some dipping sauce as well, yeah? Dipping sauce
on the side because I love to dip my nuggets in some dipping sauce, yeah. Some sweet and
sour sauce or some of that sweet chili sauce or some of that barbecue sauce. Whatever you've
got, yeah. Just something to dip my nuggets in, you know what I'm saying? All right, pal.
I'll take a cheeseburger, please. Actually, make that four cheeseburgers, right? 'Cause
I'm gonna stack them up like that, in one, one go and I'm gonna eat them like that. Just
four cheeseburgers, like that. But perhaps a little something sweet, a little drink,
a milkshake or something. Do you do milkshakes? Do you do them? Yes, something sweet. I've
got a bit of a sweet tooth. So, yes, how perfectly charming. Also, can I get some fries? Some
little fries, though, not the big fries, the little fries, yeah. And a Coca-Cola. That
would be sweet as, mate. Thank you. All right, bro. I get the cheeseburger, please, and a
side of fries as well. And maybe a milkshake. A chocolate milkshake, not a strawberry milkshake.
I do not like strawberry. I never have. I never will. Well, hello. I'd like a cheeseburger,
please. That'd be gert lush. A side of fries as well. Maybe a milkshake. That'd be lovely.
Thank you. Hi, me again. So, I'll have a Filet-O-Fish, but hold the mayo. Some carrot sticks, and
a Coke Zero because there's no calories for me. All right, love. I'll have the breakfast
plate. I'll have an Egg McMuffin and a coffee. Is that right? And a bit of Tommy K on the
side. That'd be lovely, thank you very much. We're going to Peaks today, so you know. Howay!
man? I'd like a Whopper, please. You dunnae do Whoppers? That's McDonald's? Oh, how weird.
Can I get some chicken nuggets and a can of Coke? You don't do cans of Coke? Just a Coke,
then. I just want a Coke. All right, darling, how you doing? All right, love. A quarter
pounder, right, a quarter pounder with cheese. That'd be dynamite. Ah, yeah, I'll take a
Big Mac, yeah. Big Mac for a big guy. I don't want no fries, but if you can do me a little
bag of carrot sticks, that'd be terrific 'cause I do like carrots. I'm watching me weight.
Someone has to. Extra large fries. You do the Supersize? Yeah. Supersize for a supersize
guy. Oh, hello. Whew, I don't know what I'm doing here to be honest. I don't know. Can
I get a Big Mac, please? Can I get in a meal? Does it come as a meal? Yeah. Does it come
with a McFlurry? All right, I'd just like a cheeseburger, please. Do you want a McFlurry?
Yeah, I fancy a McFlurry, too. Do you know what? I don't want a Big Mac now, I just want
a McFlurry. That's it, just a cheeseburger. You want one as well? Yeah, we'll do two McFlurries,
yeah. Yeah? Take out the cheese. Don't want any cheese in there. Don't want any relishes
or anything like that. No vegetables or pickles. Yeah, sweet, just that then. Just do the bread,
the meat, and then the bread. Is that just a burger? I'll take a burger then. Well, if
you've got one, I'll take a cheeseburger. I'd love one of those. I'd love a cheeseburger.
All right, can I get a cheeseburger, please? Eh? What? What? You want? Oh, two, two cheeseburgers,
eh. You want? You want? You want? Oh, three, three cheeseburgers. Oh, hello there, good
sir. How are you doing? I'd like a McChicken sandwich, please, because I'm from London,
I am, I am, I am. You do burgers? You guys do burgers, right? Yeah, that's... I'd like
a burger of some kind. If there's one thing I'm craving it's a quarter pounder with cheese.
I don't really know what I want, to be honest. You're famous for the Big Macs, aren't you,
McDonald's? I'll have a Big Mac, then. When in Rome and all that. Just so pumped to be
here, you know? Yeah. Maybe some nuggets as well. You do nuggets, don't you? Yeah, I'll
take some nuggets then as well. Lovely, thank you very much. I don't care what burger you
give me, but just double the beef and double the cheese. Mate, you do Big Macs? Yeah, great,
yeah. All over that. Guys, isn't that what I've always said? I've said, "Double the beef,
double the cheese." Maybe like a lemonade. You got lemonade? I'll have a lemonade then,
please. You know, a bit of fizz to me meal. Double the beef, double the cheese. That's
what I've always said, you know? That's what I've always said, guys, isn't it? Huh? All
right, please make that happen. It's been Dreamers. I hope you enjoyed that video. Of
course, not all those accents are particularly accurate, it's just my terrible impressions.
But I do hope that they show you the regional diversity of accents in Britain and obviously
of around the world. How English accents can vary, depending on where you are, significantly,
right? There'd be huge differences from a Birmingham accent to an Australian accent.
Completely different. I hope you enjoyed that. If you wanna dive deeper into accents, I'm
bringing out a book really soon. Keep your eyes peeled. It's gonna be a guide to British-English,
looking at accents, vocabulary, all those kind of good things, all right? But until
next time, guys, this is Tom, the Chief Dreamer, saying goodbye.
