I just love the GoPro for this purpose.

I've been making documentaries for almost 50 years, and when I started, I was just thinking about it.

I had a £49 camera, a £26 tape recorder and about 25 boxes that I used to carry with me everywhere for a documentary shoot.

Today I've chosen the GoPro and the hero, two of the hero three and a separate mike as my Rick.

I've been shooting television commercials with it way sent our video crew out to the five western regions to test the aptitude professional video with it, and I've been shooting my own style of really home movie user generated baby happen eating a sandwich, one of my famous New York dishes, he called it.

And it's just like him.

I place a bunch of videos on my YouTube channel using this technique, this style and people have been asking me, What's your Rick?

How are you doing it?

So I'm trying to present my rig to you let you know how I'm doing what I'm doing.

Let me start with camera.

This is my rig.

It is the Sennheiser MX 400 plugged into a GoPro hero three and ah, Cuba Mono pod.

The gadget that is holding both the camera and the microphone is called a fellow fellow.

Is a wonderful company, inexpensive and makes all these different devices for holding two objects on a single mono pod.

This is the Cooper stand.

It's wonderful.

You could feel like this and actually have a tripod on a table.

You know, just go like that.

They want you could hand hold the thing as a telescope.

You could pull it out for a full month apart.

It's a wonderful device.

I've concentrated on braces, braces, critical lamanna pod.

How many things gonna do?

How does it get in?

The way of stable doesn't make you this one.

For example, a quick pod shakes makes noise whenever you're moving just like my refrigerator, which you're probably this is the Strabo frame supposed to give you stability.

It's never stable.

Always fly horrible.

I use a variety.

This one, by the way, is made by go pro, I think.

These are all these little things that you could buy anywhere for $67.

They're not bad, It's stable And any brace instability on occasion bring often.

Actually I use this brace which I absolutely love the front row It clicks sound.

I've gone nuts on microphones.

Single Mike noticed it's not stereo.

This is a mike that's commonly sold, had a variety of other ones in here, But nothing equals this the O committee or the sound professional stereo perfect for the GoPro.

So there are times when I use an external microphone such as the mic, these Sennheiser M x c 400 that is recording me.

Now I want something of a shotgun, and I want higher quality, a depth of sound that you just don't get with any of the in camera microphones or the cheap plug microphones.

So I always had a dream of using my android or my smartphone as an alternative to my hero.

It just hasn't worked for me, But I sure tried.

I have this wonderful iPhone handheld device with a tripod should work.

This is another device for holding a smartphone with a small screw for my Munna pod is another one.

He is the most expensive one.

The plastics, which has a stereo plug in for the iPhone, shouldn't work, but none of them are a stable as my brace and my hero.

Three.

I want you to know, unless you think otherwise from all of this stuff that I am not a camera technology.

I'm interested in using the camera as a tool.

Not in how much can I learn about the camera microphone, but I feel it if equipment isn't what I needed to be.

When I get back into the editing room, I'm disappointed.
