  • Hey guys, I thought we could hang out together today, not doing anything too exciting.

  • But I figured I would update you guys on what's going on because we've been really busy preparing for moving.

  • And also, I wanted to say hi to all my new subscribers.

  • I've got a big influx of subscribers recently, probably because of the lucky bag videos, which are always really popular.

  • So hello, welcome to my channel here to kind of tell you a little bit about myself.

  • So I've been living in Japan for big, like 13 years or something in total now, and I'm finally moving on to a new country.

  • We're moving to Korea in less than a month, and that's what we've been preparing for recently.

  • So my house is empty.

  • There's barely anything left.

  • There's a couple of things I'm gonna give away to my friends, some clothes that were still using because we're still gonna be here for another month.

  • But that's voted my makeup.

  • Everything else has already been packed up and sent off to Korea.

  • It's such a weird feeling there's not much time left in Japan for me now s so I'm gonna try and make the most of this month, I am gonna be busy preparing to move.

  • Of course, I'm gonna be sending some stuff off to Canada.

  • Still, because there are some things I want to keep.

  • But because our new place in Korea is smaller than our current place, I can't keep all my stuff.

  • So all the plush is that I love and my Sophie B toys.

  • I'm gonna send them off to Canada, and they're going to be stored there with my family until I can get them in the future.

  • Maybe when we move into a larger place or something.

  • So this is the sad state of our bedroom at the moment we shipped off are amazing Kuala mattress to Korea because I can't live without it.

  • And that left us with this really thin single food time that we couldn't even fit both our pillows on.

  • So that wasn't very comfortable to sleep on last night.

  • And we need to survive for another month.

  • So I think we're going to go out to the home center and grab some kind of slightly more comfortable foot on that we can sleep on for the next month and totally move because it was so painful.

  • My back is killing me.

  • Your friendly today, your friendly today.

  • What do you want?

  • Oh, you want excited to move?

  • Well, the furniture's gone.

  • Your sod.

  • Where's your bunk bed?

  • All the places.

  • The cats usually sleep like the bug bed on the sofa.

  • They're all gone.

  • So I think they're a little confused.

  • They don't know what's going on.

  • It will be nice to get settled in because I know it's stressful for them to move places.

  • But hey, hey, don't scratch the walls.

  • We've gotten the cats all prepared.

  • They're prepared for the move.

  • They've had their health checkups, and they have an appointment at the quarantine office thing in the airport the day that we leave to make sure they're healthy and ready to fly.

  • So the plan for today is to buy a little food on that we can use.

  • And I got to get some laundry done, the weather so cold in Japan right now, and we usually hang our laundry outside to dry.

  • But because it's so cold, you would just freeze and not drive.

  • So we're taking it to the laundromat to dry it, and I think that's all we got on the list so far.

  • And then I have some work to do later and my husband's going out to get his hair down, so I'll have the place to myself for a bit.

  • But let's go.

  • It's going up.

  • The chores done, Amoral.

  • Bye.

  • All right.

  • I'm filming on the new cam again today.

  • I'm giving it another shot.

  • The first time, I wasn't happy with how the picture looked, and I had no idea what to do with the settings to make it look better.

  • So I was waiting till I met up with my friend Norm.

  • And he helped me out with the camera.

  • And I think we have some butter settings now.

  • So hopefully I'll be happy with how this looks and sounds.

  • We will see.

  • This is kind of like another test.

  • It's gonna take me a while to get it to some settings I like.

  • I think this camera is a lot more complicated than my previous one.

  • No one, honey Rina s s it.

  • Imagine Courage and Sami W Uh huh.

  • So, dish can I called it a car.

  • You know, Grayken.

  • Go ahead, grand Children daro, You So I was hoping we could find a better food, don, but we got the cheapest one because they're only and be using it for a little under a month, so I don't really wanna waste too much money on it.

  • I'm sure we can find someone to give it to you after I get some use out of it.

  • But it's gonna suck to sleep on that.

  • It was so painful Lesson, you guys.

  • Oh, well, okay, so I'm just gonna go pick up the laundry, Then I'm gonna head home.

  • Husband's gonna go to his hair appointment, and I need some food.

  • I'm really hungry.

  • So I just got home.

  • I started folding the laundry and my husband called, and he's on his way back home because apparently his appointment was at one o'clock, not three o'clock, which it is right now.

  • I was assuming they said juice on G 13 o'clock because they used 24 hour time here and he just registered that songy instead.

  • That really sucks, because tomorrow we're actually getting family portrait done.

  • So you wanted to get his hair done?

  • He hasn't had his hair done in a while.

  • He likes to get it Permed.

  • That's Crilly.

  • So you want to get it done so it would be all ready for the picture is now You can.

  • So he's very angry.

  • So that sucks.

  • And I was just about to go do my voice over work.

  • That was the work that I have to do today.

  • The voiceover for that documentary that I mentioned I was working on.

  • But I just got an email that apparently they're going to change the script.

  • So I need to wait for the updated script before it can record anything.

  • And I got all this free time.

  • What should we do?

  • I got a full the laundry.

  • I guess I'll start with that way.

  • Also went grocery shopping Figure I'll show you guys.

  • What?

  • I got a green onion.

  • Is this a leak?

  • I don't know.

  • They just call them long onions in Japan.

  • Not gonna guess who got an Iggy some more.

  • Yeah, She being sprouts.

  • These are probably the cheapest vegetable you can buy in Japan.

  • That usually cost about 20 cents for a pack of them like this.

  • And they're really great to use in soups or stir fries.

  • We're gonna be making a knobby tonight, So gonna put those in some chinga nes.

  • I think this is possibly bok choy.

  • I don't know all the non Japanese names for these vegetables.

  • She talk in my favorite mushrooms.

  • Some banana is also very cheap in Japan.

  • Then you got some ramen noodles for our number.

  • I don't like these, but my husband is a fan.

  • You want me to put them in so you can add some ramen noodles to it And I got my favorite fruit.

  • These are King con.

  • They're a very tiny Citrus fruit and you can eat the entire thing.

  • You can eat the peel.

  • It's very sweet.

  • It's not bitter and gross like a regular orange peel there.

  • So good.

  • If you come to Japan and King Kong are in season, give them a try.

  • Or if you live in a country that has limb onions on DDE, some strawberries because it's also strawberry season.

  • These ones are from Miyazaki Prefecture.

  • I think I've ever had strawberries from Miyazaki before.

  • Hopefully they're good.

  • They smell really good.

  • They small really sweet and delicious.

  • Yeah, that's my grocery hall.

  • Lots of veggies and fruit.

  • So we're gonna make a veggie Roman number tonight.

  • What's that?

  • Do you want a banana?

  • I've seen cows eating bananas before.

  • So according to Google, bananas are not toxic to cats.

  • Um, there's nothing necessary in them.

  • So it's definitely not something that you'd use us like a staple in their diet, But it's okay to give them a bite.

  • Interesting.

  • You want to try some banana?

  • Try?

  • I I guess that's a no tomorrow.

  • And you want dry somebody, Anna?

  • No, not a fan.

  • Okay, well, if they don't want the banana, I'm gonna eat it with this.

  • My new favorite cereal.

  • This is the Kashi Organic Autumn Wheat cereal.

  • It's slightly sweet.

  • It's sweetened with cane sugar.

  • So it's basically like a crunch here.

  • Shredded wheat.

  • That is slightly sweet.

  • And it's so good.

  • I've been having this in the morning recently with bananas and soy milk.

  • Super yummy.

  • I'll give you one.

  • Guess where I got it?

  • Yep.

  • That's right.

  • I herbs If you live somewhere that doesn't sell this in the store and you want to try it, you get it on I herbal Drink it down below.

  • All right, guys, we're back in business.

  • I got my e mail from the people that I'm working for for the voice over.

  • So I got me a new script, Sami pages we got here.

  • 12 three or five.

  • Got about 12 pages.

  • A voiceover to d'oh!

  • So this is what I'm gonna be doing for the next couple hours.

  • So this is for that documentary that I'm working on for the Canadian government, all about the history of Japan and its relationship with Canada.

  • I've already filmed all the video clips were in, and now they just want me to do the voice over.

  • I use this mike for my voice overs on my videos as well.

  • So if you guys were looking for a a good mike that you can plug into your computer, I really like this one.

  • This is this snowball Blue.

  • Mike Makayla recommended this to me, and I've been using this for the past couple of years and I'm very happy with it.

  • It's very nice.

  • I added our second mattress to the bed.

  • I can't decide if we should just sleep in this tiny, single sized mattress like and have to thumb on top of each other or do one and one, but it was so hard to governor.

  • Ah Ah, I don't know.

  • I don't know what to do.

  • I think this might be better.

  • It might be better to be, like, squished.

  • And then it will to sleep on a hard mattress.

  • All right, guys, I'm gonna take a break.

  • I'm done recording For now.

  • There were a couple parts in the script that I was a little unsure of.

  • So I've emailed the director and asked her to clarify those.

  • But we got 17 minutes of voiceover recorded so far and just a little bit more to go.

  • The cops are being cute.

  • They've been cuddled up behind my laptop here.

  • The whole time I was recording might be some cat sleeping sounds in the background of the documentary.

  • It's already seven o'clock.

  • That took longer than I expected.

  • It took a few hours.

  • I'm going to take a break and watch some Netflix.

  • I don't know what to watch.

  • I just finished watching the sinner.

  • If you've not seen that yet, I highly recommend it.

  • Give me some suggestions, guys.

  • I love hearing your suggestions.

  • I found so many good shows and movies because you guys so thank you.

  • So much.

  • Where was your commanding cool stuff to me?

  • I watched this.

  • I really like, uh I'm watching terraced house right now.

  • The Japanese really a reality show.

  • I swear.

  • They script it.

  • They promised that they don't What?

  • I'm pretty sure they dio and that's about all I've been watching recently, so yeah, let me know if you know anything.

  • Good.

  • Morrow has been staring at me from the door of the past 10 minutes.

  • He hasn't moved.

  • Where?

  • What you do with Why don't you come in?

  • But the heater on one.

  • Come here, Michael.

  • Come here.

  • Luna's over on my desk because it's right underneath the eater.

  • She's a smart one.

  • Okay, I think that's enough lounging around for today.

  • I couldn't find anything on Netflix that I wonder what it.

  • So I ended up watching YouTube instead for like, an hour.

  • I think we should make some dinner.

  • It was so good.

  • You guys only about things that I've seen.

  • The peel is actually sweeter than the fruit inside.

  • So interesting.

  • What?

  • The broth boiling here.

  • He used a recipe off YouTube and tweaked it a bit.

  • We wanted it to be spicy.

  • Or so it looks a lot spicier than the video.

  • Hopefully, it's okay.

  • A link.

  • The recipe that I kind of based it off of Downbelow case.

  • You want to try making it yourself.

  • It's called Canton Men.

  • Ton Ton noodles.

  • Got mushrooms and green onion here.

  • Bok choy.

  • I guess this is Chinese cabbage and bean sprouts ready to go here.

  • The prophet is really good.

  • Taste ginger.

  • Mostly it's turned out really well.

  • Only your speed number love if you guys want to try it.

  • Are you for dessert?

  • I'm gonna try Tutta Coca Cola Peach.

  • I actually thought it was gonna be pink, but it's not.

  • It's cocoa colored witches, schools.

  • I hate it when they make these flavored cola's.

  • And then it's nothing like cola.

  • A few of the Pepsi ones have been like white and tasted nothing like Pepsi.

  • What?

  • I think this one will actually be peach flavored coke.

  • So that's interesting.

  • Who smells really peachy?

  • It smells like a peach.

  • Gummy candy.

  • It will be interesting.

  • Cheers.

  • Yeah.

  • Huh.

  • He's exactly how you would expect it to taste.

  • Actually, that's actually really good.

  • It still has a really strong Coca Cola flavour.

  • But it has also a really strong peach flavor, but they go well together.

  • Surprisingly enough, E actually really like it.

  • I never drink soda.

  • I just like trying these interesting ones that they come up with in Japan for the hell of it.

  • Reggae's.

  • I'm gonna finish my voice recording work.

  • Then I think I'm gonna go to sleep pretty soon.

  • We gotta get up early for the family portrait.

  • I think I might've log tomorrow too.

  • I'm not sure yet.

  • We'll see how it goes.

  • We'll see if we're gonna rush in there or not.

  • If I have a chance to put my camera and film some of it, I think I will, because it should be interesting to get to wear some traditional Japanese clothes and it should be fun.

  • They're gonna do my hair and they said they do my makeup, too.

  • But I don't know if I want them to do my makeup.

  • I might just do it myself.

  • I find that every time I get my makeup done in Japan, it looks really ridiculous of the makeup style is just completely different.

  • And it does not suit me, so I might just do it myself anyways.

  • Hope you guys have an awesome day or night whatever time it is where you are.

  • Thanks so much for watching.

  • And I'll see again soon.

  • Bye.

Hey guys, I thought we could hang out together today, not doing anything too exciting.
