and then we're gonna go out shopping together and

Have lunch and everything together and just the whole day is gonna be spent with his family

So I don't really want to vlog today, but I have prepared a vlog for today. I filmed this one

November 30th, so right before Vlogmas started I went out with Eunice. Eunice is one of my oldest friends in Korea

Hey guys, good morning, I'm with Eunice today

And she brought me for a very amazing looking Korean lunch

Tons of side dishes, lots of veggie stuff, some soup, some rice and we're gonna dig in because I'm starving

So they brought us this rice porridge. Kinda like a rice porridge

for dessert and some sweet tea

doing a little more Christmas shopping

This is a really big one in Gangnam that has three floors, makeup on the first floor, skincare on the second

And then there's one more floor, with like random

stuff

Okay Christmas shopping is almost done, I think. Getting it done early this year. It's time to go for coffee

It's a Sunday today, but it's not too busy here in Gangnam.

We're inside Zara now because Eunice is looking for a black or a red dress for an event that she is giving a speech at

It's mostly winter clothes in here now so it's kind of hard to find a nice fancy dress. There are a couple

we found one potential candidate downstairs, so

It's all sweaters, sweaters and coats

We found some really cute pants, they're like a fancy version

of those tearaway pants, little fancier material

I love them. Oh we're gonna go in the Kakao store because I've never been in here

Eunice: Yeah, it's Korean, they do have like bubble tea. They have little like jelly things

Chocolate milk tea.

Eunice: You want small size? Sharla: Yeah!

Eunice: How do you want the sweetness? Sharla: Er, not sweet

They have so many nice looking

But they don't do it with soy milk

Sharla: Can I get like aloe?

Eunice: They look frustrated Sharla: That was really complicated. Thank god, Eunice is here to help with Korean

They ask you like, how sweet you want it. How much ice you want in it. What toppings you want to put in it.

They didn't have anything with soy milk. I ended up getting a grapefruit green tea with aloe pieces in it

It sounds really good. Sharla: Yay what did you get? Eunice: I got jasmine

Eunice: Something, jasmine green tea Sharla: With no sweetener? Eunice: Yeah. This is with the ade, and this is without.

I needed it, it was so hot

Sharla: It's really refreshing.

It is hot, they crank up the heaters inside the stores

So even though it's like negative outside, inside is like 30 degrees.

Okay, so teach me how to order this, so I can do it myself next time.

Eunice: So they always ask you how much ice

Sharla: It's so close to Japanese! Eunice: Yeah? What is it in Japanese? Sharla: Japanese is "han"

Eunice: And then, with the sweetness, say thirty percent, or say none.

Everyone's actually really good at English here, but I don't want to try and like glide along using English, I would like to learn the proper

Korean, but if you're just here on vacation, I feel like you could get away with using really simple English at like cafes and stuff

Eunice: Yeah, they're super foreigner friendly Sharla: Yeah
