The fans are always asking me and my family are always asking me

do I have a superstition, and I think I have one.

I don't know if it works for other people,

but it works for me now and I am very happy about that.

It's simple, it's my shin guard, that I had for maybe 7, 8, 9 years,

which I told myself I would never change.

I always keep it, because I used it for the first game in France, in '99, no 2001,

something like this, and it gave me a lot of chances, and I said to myself, yeah, it is time to keep it going.

I didn't change that shin guard til now, it's almost 7, 8 years that I have kept it.

So, I am telling the truth, that’'s my superstition,

and I don't know if it is going to work for you, but for me it is working.

As soon as you put in a new shin guard or a new shoe,

and have a game and score a hattrick or you score a good goal,

or you do something special in the game,

I think that shin guard might become your superstition, you must keep that forever, it's like a souvenir.

So that is what I have to say about my superstition, it is always my shin guard.

If someone ask me, we have a child can they have something? I will give them anything, but not my shin guard.

So please, if you see me, don’t ask me for the shin guard, I won’t give you.
