I'm worried about being able to pay my bills.

I think it's just gonna be tough for basic necessities.

I talked to Fox Business News correspondent Susan Lee.

This is an incredibly hard financial time for folks.

What do you do if you cannot afford to pay your rent?

Right now, the top tip is to go talk directly with your landlord.

Maybe there is some forgiveness.

They can give you more time to pay your rent.

I know there have been any total stories of landlords who have voluntarily going up to the tenant to say You don't need to pay me for five months.

What about if you do have to prioritize your bills?

Are there some bills that can wait?

Well, a lot of these big banks are saying that credit card forgiveness will be extended because of Corona virus.

Now, if you do have to make payments, prioritize those payments that might affect your credit scores with a mortgage payment.

Should folks who do have a 401 K should they tap into that 401 k.

If Washington gets his way, we get the stimulus bill you might be able to tap your for a one okay of $200,000 not pay to 10% interest payments.

You do have to pay the taxes, but then you also get three years to return up $200,000.

It sounds like it's a lot about communication.

It really is because everyone's going through the same thing in these times.

Uncertainty.

Who knows when businesses will reopen?

Find different ways.

Thio.

Preserve cash at this point.

And don't forget there are a lot of companies that understand what you're going through because they're going through the same things.

So talk to your credit card companies.

Talk to your mortgage underwriters, those big banks and also talk to those that underwrite your student loans.

Who knows, you might be able to find ways to get around some of these payments, at least for now, and get some extra time in order to make them in the future.
