It's designed to fit around the disc brake rotor of a motorcycle and lock in place that should stop the wheel from turning and prevent many forms of roll away or drive away theft.

Now there's one important thing to note about this lock that differentiates it.

For many similar looking products, many of these disks break locks, including this one, which is also made by Kryptonite, are made out of cast zinc.

I have several videos showing how easy they are to break open.

This one is made out of hardened steel, which is a massive improvement.

If I had one concern about the construction, it would be the possibility that this mechanism could be overpowered with a slide hammer.

I may investigate that in a future video, but today we're going to see what it takes to pick this open.

This is one of kryptonite older cores, which means that it tensions from the front disc, and we shouldn't expect any false skates.

So let's get to picking the first thing we're going to do is rotate all of the disks as far clockwise as they will go, and then I'm going to be using this disc detainer.

Pick that Bosnian bill and I made going to put that in and pick up disc number one.

Okay, I think I have Disc one.

So let's find disc to and start picking.

Okay, there's number two.

It's binding.

Okay.

Two.

Feels like it's in a gate.

Three.

Feels like it's in a gate that may be a zero cut number four click out of four Number five binding.

Okay, click out of five down to number six.

Click out of six, and we opened it up.

So not too hard to pick a CE faras.

This container locks go, and certainly not something that's going to stop an experienced picker.

That said, the steel construction puts it ahead of the pack, given the number of zinc locks out there.
