Why episode?

So as you know this the part where I talk about the things that we made small mistakes on or the things that didn't quite make it into the episode.

For one, I accidentally misspelled Coleman, both one of the animations.

I said over 90% but the Chuckle region has around 5%.

Technically, it's true.

But the animation on Lee said 90.

I forgot to put the little squiggly about signing that you get the point in that little skit with me and Ryan, where I played a vegan and he played a meat eater.

Some of you guys were like It's confirmed barbs.

Vegan.

No, I'm not.

Although I do believe the world could benefit with less meat consumption.

I am not be again.

One thing I really wish we could've talked more about was the friendship between Colombia and Paraguay of one point in Colombia's legislation during the Triple Alliance war or the Pot Agwai war.

Columbia actually said that if paddock wise ceased to exist, all Paraguay and people could gain automatic Colombian citizenship was really nice of them, one fun.

Little fact.

I forgot to mention that there were a bunch of Australians that tried to come over and make New Australia.

At one point in the 19th century, a bunch came over and they tried to make their own little society.

It never really kicked off, though, because they kept disagreeing on things, one of them being the prohibition of alcohol.

And, yeah, kind of died away very quickly after it was started.

Oh, and Mariana told me that in Paraguay very often, instead of knocking on a door, if you want to enter, people just clap outside of the building to let people know that they want to come in.

And there's a lot of other stuff I could have mentioned.

So without further ado now, I'm gonna be for real of any flag Friday episode you should watch.

This would probably be an interesting one.

You get one of those weird, like trivia questions.

You should watch this episode because it's gonna be important.

Why?

Because Potter was flag is unlike any other in the world.

It is the only one that has two sides to it, and we'll explain.

First of all, the flag is a horizontal tri color, much like the Dutch flag with red, white and blue bands, all of which were inspired from the French flag to symbolize independence and liberty for each color, though, the red stripe symbolizes courage, equality and patriotism.

White represents unity, purity and peace, and the blue stands for liberty, benevolence and truth.

Now, as you can see in the centre lies an image over.

It's strange because Papa guys, the only sovereign state flag in the world to have a completely different non mirrored image on the reverse side of the flag.

If you flip it over, you get a different one on the obverse or front side lies the coat of arms.

But on the opposite lies the seal of the treasury.

There's really no exact explanation as to why they did this, other than the fact that it was Jose Diferencias idea back when he was in charge, he kind of wanted product like to just stick out, and since then, more or less, they just kind of kept the idea of making their flag.

And of course, prior to this they had a bunch of other flags, obviously there under the Spanish Empire.

So they had to cross of Burgundy and the other Spanish Empire flags.

After all the other colonies in South America gained independence in the 18 hundreds, they had a few provisional flags, and then Bam!

The modern one you see today was created with slight modifications with color and shape, which for the first and only time now we cover the coat of arms and the seal of the treasury.

The coat of arms, which can be found on the national flag, contains a single five pointed yellow star in the center known as the Star of May, reminding them of the date of independence.

Surrounding the star is a palm and all of branch on either side, symbolizing honor and peace.

All of this is surrounded by another con centric circle containing the words very public out that paddock y.

I'm pretty sure you can figure out that means even if you don't speak Spanish, the seal of the treasury on the other side of the flag contains a yellow lion with a fridge.

Ian cap.

These are symbols you confined in lots of Latin based nations as it has roots from ancient Rome.

The cap symbolizes the pursuit of freedom and liberty, while the lion represents courage and the defense of liberty.

All of this also is contained with another con centric circle with the words Pass Justicia, which means peace and justice.

And since independence, this has pretty much been the only coat of arms and seal of treasury they've ever had, and they take it pretty seriously.

I mean, you can find the whole double sided thing on their money.

You can find it in buildings, government official offices, and that's just about it.

So now there's only one thing left to do.
