Look, Miss 2019.

Honestly, I feel like this has been the best Douglas in terms of how I've coped with it.

When we got married, that was probably, like, the most exciting bluntness, But I definitely enjoyed doing it issue a lot more on dhe.

I've found a good rhythm and how to make it manageable and workable for me.

So I'm really, really happy with it.

Andi, I hope that you enjoyed catching up over the next two ish weeks because I'm taking two weeks off.

So there aren't gonna be any videos from today until the seventh of January when I come back into the office.

This is valuable time for me to just chill and spend time with my family on dhe do all of the good stuff because nobody is in the office on DDE.

I'm very grateful for that, but I wanted it.

Well, first we'll start with this is going to be my secret project reveal and some of you guys is so good.

You did actually guess what it was.

I don't think it was hard.

I'm not very good at keeping secrets or like doing surprises like this.

And the whole way through, I felt like I was completely hyping this whole thing up.

But I didn't do it for heIp or to, like, get amazing views or anything like that.

I'm a needed it because I wanted to do like a room with just my input and no kind of opinions to cloud my vision A ttle because I often find sometimes because I am a sensitive soul on when people are like Oh, no, that's disgusting.

I'm like, Is it disgusting?

Is my idea disgusting?

Is my taste disgusting?

And it just all kind of makes me doubt myself.

So this was more just for me.

And I know I probably shouldn't have told you that it was a secret project, but like I said, I'm really terrible.

It like keeping these things to myself, And I really just wanted to tell you, and also there was so much going on that I kind of needed to be, like, talking about as well.

But it is now finished, and I'm gonna show you what it is, and I hope that you like it for me.

It now has the initial response that I kind of hoped for.

My reasoning for redoing this room was because it was the first room that was finished in the house.

On Dhe, I felt like I didn't know a lot about interiors.

My style, finishes and stuff like that, and it felt like a kind of mish mash a few different styles together, and it was a bit busy in there on.

I wanted to really take it back and make it fit with house, and that's what we're doing at the moment.

Is making things fit with house a lot more on.

I definitely find there's a lot more cohesion in my style and what I like.

I'm very fortunate to be in a position where I'm able to redo a room that I've just done on Dhe.

I don't take that for granted at all.

I'm just I enjoy interiors.

I enjoyed changing things.

That's why I'll sell items.

For me, it's not a failure.

If I have to redo something out, down like, Hey, I got to redo this.

It's been exciting and the fact that we've done it in a month, I'm so so happy with.

I really thought it was gonna take a lot longer in the room itself.

I've decided to make sure that I'm using both expensive items and there's a real mix of expense of expensive items on also quite affordable items on a lot of the stuff in the room I got from, like my Kia or from Amazon on.

I'm really, really happy about that.

I'm gonna take you on the journey with me first from start to finish on.

I did try and document it as best as I could throughout the last month off the renovation of this room on dhe show you everything that's been happening.

And then I'll see you at the end of the video to kind of give you a round up.

But I hope that you like how it came out on you enjoyed the process.

The fact that I secret squirrel sold my table as well.

Like I didn't have to list that off.

I was so grateful to the lady who bought it because it meant I didn't have thio like, listed online, because the moment I would have done that, everyone would have known.

Andi, I am so, so happy with how it's turned out.

So yeah, let's get into the room.

Everything has been moved out off the dining room to start the process.

So this is what it looked like before.

What we're working to do is to actually centralize all of the lights in this room because everything is on the Wong kid.

Ready?

So, as you can see, these lights are super close to the wall here.

But these lights are really far away from the wall here and then these on Central on Dhe.

Everything just needs to be put right, basically.

So what we're gonna have is we're gonna have the sideboard there.

But we're going to centralize everything else so that the main light sis sort of here so it will be in line with the window because the window isn't central either.

So everything's coming out.

And then we've got Ken coming on Saturday to paint everything white in here because I just love the paneling when it's all whites just just like, is out here.

So we're rolling up the rug and popping that in the loft.

And this is the first stage of reader in this room.

Hey, wait, wait Behind the new curtains.

You're such a princess on you, little princess.

I'm starting to think that secretly I know a moan about my house being in chaos, But there must be something about that I actually just really like on.

I just love seeing my house an absolute state because I keep doing it.

That can only be the reason, but everything is out of here on.

There are a lot of holes in our dining room ceiling, but it's gonna be worth it, isn't it?

That gonna be about their secret project Update Cannon Graham are spilling out into the hallway.

But all of the filling on dhe prep work is done.

That's the first sign of white on the wall there, isn't it?

What's gonna brighten up so much in here?

It's gonna make it so much less blue as well.

So excited.

Oversee its very echoey in here at the moment because there is no soft furnishings.

Atal So This is where we are at Andi.

This again is one of those decisions that I am so so happy that I made even just against the wood that's in here.

Despite the fact that that's changing, this color looks beautiful.

White against the floor looks so much better.

It made it very blue in here before because the grades that we'd used had a real sort of blue undertone.

The white from parable has really, really made it pop in here on dhe.

It just looks a lot more rustic, I think.

Andi, I think the floor looks actually ah, look more realistic, which I'm really happy with.

So very, very happy that the guy's done that just need to give ever clear up in here on Dhe.

Then about getting my house clean the next stage, I believe.

Put the curtains back up.

I need the lights to arrive.

Dining table is going new.

Giant table is coming.

New sideboard arrives on Tuesday.

So that's the next thing to go into this room.

Andi, it's just getting everything ready for Christmas, right?

We have a very exciting video.

Well, part of the video, this is our new sideboard.

Oh, my goodness is the most gorgeous piece of furniture I think I've ever you.

I don't even wanna know how many spiders must be nice.

Terrible actor.

So this is our new sideboard for this room.

Obviously, we have finished painting in here now.

So this sideboard is going into the place that this one, this one is sold and it goes tomorrow.

So the boys are gonna move over to this side of the room.

Well, and our lampshades arrived, You know, I told you that they weren't gonna be here until January.

Someone from Neptune hooked me up.

I still bythe new sideboard is in place.

This one is going to are.

Like I said, Hallie needs to do the like shelves and stuff.

Obviously, this isn't going to have all of our, like board games and stuff in it.

We'll have to find a new home for those.

This will have sort of like, table where and things like that.

Probably some wine in there as well.

Some nice glasses would be a really good place to store glasses because I just love the way that glass looks on show.

Obviously, chairs is staying.

There were still waiting for the dining table, although three new lampshades, which is no good because the lamps don't arrive until, like the 11.

But they've arrived.

Thankfully, my friend online friend Leela, who also has an instagram account or link it down below.

She works at Neptune, and she managed to find the lamp shades that I needed on Dhe.

Sent them to me as a little gift.

Andi, I was very, very grateful.

So I've got to open those actually andan sure that they are kept safe and well.

But this room is just transformed the moment.

And the one thing I'm really finding is that I don't notice that there isn't cornice in here as much as I used to notice.

So I'm really happy about that because it used to really annoy mater.

Wasn't books put away?

But don't worry about that On the table is probably next to go, so we're not gonna have a dining table in here for a while, but it's going to a good home, and we've had some good good times with it, but I think the new dining table will work so much better in this room.

Secret point continues on.

I just got out of the gym and I decided to surprise you actually currently meet and greet and I put the light up inside the room.

That's when she comes home.

We should be finished.

But there is something like 200 crystals and he'd be hung around on Dhe Davina while some busy doing that, we're gonna run a time lapse, get it done.

Dinner is ready in three minutes.

I'm not getting done in three minutes, but let's start anyway.

Way have it one more elusive life it's in.

Well, I can see Shap e.

That took a lot longer than I anticipated.

That's all that's left to do.

Is this needs to be corked in it, decorated in with sealing wall lights need to be put on.

And then I think it is time to stop in the new table on dhe furnishings.

Finally pushing on forward, Ready for Christmas.

Good morning, everyone.

My husband was a very busy bee last night and put up the only restoration hardware Vives Square light that I have ever found on the Internet.

I am not able to find another one like this, and it was actually pretty cheap.

It's not the best quality, but it looks good, and I think that's what matters at the moment.

The ceiling rose is up because obviously we have corn isn't here.

I just went for the biggest meter long ceiling rose I could find on.

Then the light just hangs really nicely.

I think we're gonna We might move up one link just to have a little bit higher, but I guess we'll know better when the table is in.

And we can kind of take it from there today.

My dining table, my gorgeous dining table that unfortunately just wasn't quite big enough for what we wanted it for is leaving the building and going to its new home down the road on That is in prep for hopefully, our new dining table to arrive next week.

And once the new dining table arrives, the lights for the wall arrives as well.

On dhe, we can literally just have lunch Christmas lunch in here.

It's it's set to go, so I'll style up these cabinets.

I really like how they look with the glass in them.

So I'm gonna put all my nice glasses in here and keep it like that, Maybe have some bottles in there as well.

I might have some bottles of nice champagne and Prosecco in here on dhe, then have more glasses in that one just so that it looks really nice.

I am like, wanting to get this as ready as possible so that when the table and the lights arrive the walls, everything is pretty much good to go.

I need to sort out the dust on the floor.

That will be my wine delivery.

That makes me very excited, because I can put that in here as well.

I'm very hot.

That's what I bought six bottles of wine and God, indeed, Yes.

So, as I was saying, I want to get the sideboard all organized, Nikki.

Nice.

Because we're not gonna have our board games in there even though we are very much board game enthusiast, it actually I really feel like I found my calling in life.

So we're going to get all of this stuff moved out of here.

Andi, I'm gonna also position the chairs if the situation me.

JJ right now is to get everything sort of cleaned.
