It's been a hell of a morning

So, Keyboard-san was on the staircase, playing with Maro.

And they play tag with each other. They run after each other, then he'll run back and hide behind the wall-

And Maro will run back and look for him, and they'll do that back and forth all the time. Maro loves it.

Anyways, he was playing on the staircase this morning. And I guess he ran back and hid behind the wall. And Maro came chasing after him.

And Keyboard-san peeked his head out to look for Maro, and Maro ran into his face, and broke his nose.

So, he's getting ready to go the hospital. But before we can do that, we need to take Nicole's cat, Miko, in for surgery.

Nicole had to work today, and they wouldn't give her the day off, to take the cat in for surgery. Her work is really strict.

So I told her we would drive to her house and pick up Miko, and take her for her.

So, we've got to do that this morning. And then once we drop Miko off, we're gonna bring him to the hospital.

And, see what they can do about his nose. He injured it once before, when he was snowboarding and he was pretty sure he broke it then-

But was up snowboarding, and he didn't go to the hospital or anything. So he just let it heal, and I think that made it weak.

And I think that's why he could injure it so easily this time, just by Maro smacking him in the face.

ANYWAYS

He's having problems breathing right now. So we really think he's damaged it. He might have to get surgery, but hopefully not.

Hopefully, there's something else they can do with it, because it did just happen. Hopefully he caught it fast enough.

Maybe we can put something up there, to keep the shape... okay? I don't know, I've never had a broken nose. I don't know how it works but-

I'll keep you guys updated.

I'm going to have a shower. And get ready. And then we're going to go pick up Miko first.

So, I'm back at home now.

Miko is at the hospital

Keyboard-san is at the hospital

I'm at home! Working on some videos. I couldn't go there with him. But, he just went to a local clinic, and he's going to ask for an X-ray.

And I guess we'll just see how it goes from there. Miko is doing well, the doctor just gave her a quick check - up.

And she looks like she's in good enough health, to do the surgery. She's getting spayed. I don't know if I said that earlier.

So everything seems good with Miko. Hopefully her surgery goes okay. As far as her nosebleeds and her joint problems go, she hasn't been doing very well.

She's been put on a supplement called "Cosequin", it was recommended by lots of you. So Nicole did order it.

She's been giving her that for everyday, for the past month or so, I believe. I guess it's a little too early to tell if it's helping her with her joints or not yet.

She still seems to be in a lot of pain, when somebody touches her back legs or her tail, she hisses and cries. But other than that she seems healthy.

She eats properly and plays. We're hoping the supplements will help with that. But it's kind of a long process before you see any changes, I'm guessing.

If you guys have any experience with giving your pets cosequin for joint problems, let me know how long it took before you saw any improvements. We're both really wondering when we should be expecting to see any changes.

So, I'm going to work on my videos and just wait to hear back from Keyboard-san. Then I will update you on his condition.

So, his nose isn't broken, it's just swollen. That's good news! He doesn't need surgery. Maro! You didn't break it. Don't try again.

Well, now we know his nose isn't broken, we're just going to go about our actual plans for the day. We'll go grab some lunch now. There are some leftovers from dinner last night.

Then were going to go to the nearby thrift shop and giveaway some of my "stuff", trying to clean out my place a little bit before my sister gets here really soon in a week now.

Kimchi fried rice (yum), and some vegetable soup that I made.

I think I'll go with the soup.

I put potatoes in it this time. Not sure what I think of the potates. They're a little soggy, maybe I wont add the potates next time.

But other than that, soup turned out lovely this time.

Every store we went to today was out of my favorite soy milk flavored chocolate. So I'm settling for this, it's also pretty good.

I think it's okay.

I forgot to tell you guys that the kind of surgery that Miko's getting is different than the procedure that Luna did when she was spayed.

It's the procedure when the incision is going to be a lot smaller, and they will do the surgery inside the body using a camera, to see what's happening. Instead of making a large incision.

It costs a little bit more but, in the end because the wound will be smaller, Miko will be in less pain.

And she should heal easier. So that's why Nicole decided to go with that one.

I've never heard about that type if surgery before. I don't know If that's something they only do in some countries,

My Jolly Ranch purse I don't use anymore, a couple of other bags I've had for years. A couple of "Toys" and jewelry I don't use anymore.

Where's Maro? Maro?

I'm just chillin in the bunk bed, watching some Netflix (Netflix and chillin with herself), I'm currently watching 13 reasons why.

I'm about half way through. I've enjoyed it so far.

And I just got a call from the vet to say Miko's surgery was successful, and she's doing well and can be picked up after 5pm.

So, Nicole will be going to grab her after work, we don't have to pick her up this time.

So, I will hopefully hear from Nicole, and hear how she's doing. But according to the vet, it went very well. And that's Awesome.

I was kinda worried because Miko did not have the best health to start with. So the surgery was scary.

But luckily, everything went well. All the hospital visits today went well. It's been a good day, as good as it could be.

OH!
