Answer what I've done with this.
I've been quite clever with the response because I've also demonstrated that I can not only follow rules and procedures, but I can also deal with customer complaints, which is all part parcel of the pharmacy assistant role.
Here we go.
In a previous role, I was working as a customer service representative on I was often required to follow rules and procedures.
One particular situation comes to mind in respect of dealing with a customer complaint.
Now a customer made a serious complaint in relation toe how they have been treated by another member of staff.
And it was my responsibility to deal with the complaint whilst following strict company guidelines and procedures.
As soon as the complaint came in over the telephone, I quickly uploaded the company complaints procedure on my computer screen and started toe follow it to the letter whilst communicating with a customer.
It was really important that I not only followed the customer complaints procedure, but I also demonstrated empathy and utilized effective interpersonal skills to ensure the customer felt valued.
