Fukuoka is the name of the city.

キャナルシティーはとても人気なショッピングモールで

Canal City is a really popular shopping mall.

福岡の住民でも、よく遊びにきたり

It's one that I really like coming to

すると思います。

even as a resident of Fukuoka City,

やっぱり建築が面白くて

because the architecture is really interesting.

キャナルが真ん中を通っていますし

They do have a little canal

モールの中にね。

flowing through the shopping mall.

観光者として福岡にきたら

When you're visiting Fukuoka as a tourist,

キャナルシティーは行くべきだと思います。

Canal City is one of the in my opinion,

本当に

one of the must see spots

なぜかというと、観光客が求める

just because it has a really good concentration of shops

キャラクターグッズのお買い物が できるからです。

that I think tourists would be interested in.

キャラクターグッズやセレクトショップがあって

There's tons of character shops, select shops.

本当にたくさんあるから、来てみた方がいいと思います。

There's so much going on here.

福岡市に来るなら、ね

And it really is worth a visit

福岡のガンダムベースです。

if you are planning an itinerary through Fukuoka City.

去年の１１月に出来たばかりです。

This is the Gundam Base in Fukuoka,

私の後ろにガンダムカフェもありますね。

that just opened up in November.

東京以外の県に、こんなにたくさんのキャラクターカフェが集まることが

And behind me there's the Gundam Cafe as well.

中々ないと思いますね。

A lot of places outside Tokyo

福岡にたくさんあってよかったです。

aren't as lucky as Fukuoka to get those attractions.

And today, we're gonna head to

the Kirby Cafe (electronic beeping)

今付き合っている男が、 カーヴィの大ファンで

the Kirby Cafe, I'm really excited about

今月で終わってしまうと聞いてたので.

because my boyfriend is a huge fan of Kirby.

どうしても今日行ってみたいと思いました。

And I know that they're only here to the end of this month.

ってことで、今から向かいます！

So I really want to take him before they close.

And that's where we're going right now.

カーヴィ飯から選ぶことが出来ます。

The Kirby Cafe menu has a variety of different options

for the ultimate Kirby fan to try,

from mains such as burgers and curry,

to desserts like mousse and pancakes.

Just looking through the menu front to back,

is really entertaining on its own.

with strawberry jam, whipped cream and some fruit.

I do love that Kirby's wearing his chef's hat right here.

でも現実的にいうと、キャラクターカフェって

- [Boyfriend] How do you rate that?

料理が美味しいから来るんじゃなくて、

- I think, for what it is, I really like it.

キャラクターが好きだから行くものですね。

But I think, when you come to a character cafe,

食べ物が全く美味しくないってわけではないのですが、

you have to come because you like the characters

特に「これを食べるべき！」 と言えるほどのものがない気がします。

and not because you like the food.

これが美味い！！！ってものはないです。

It's not that the food's terrible,

世界で1番美味しい料理を目指している訳ではない

it's just that there's not really anything

からですね。。。

that they do particularly well.

でも見た目が楽しいし

It's not like anything that you eat is gonna be

プレゼンテーションが良いから

the best thing you've ever tasted.

エンタテインメントになるんですね。

But it is gonna look really cute.

発想がすごい、とか

It's gonna be an adventure

目で食べるのもあるから、見た目がよければいいって言う人もいますね。

because of the presentation,

んで、このデザートが好きです。

because of the ideas, the creativity.

バランスが良いと思います。

And if you eat with your eyes, that it's a good meal.

Yeah, I like this dessert.

I think it was a good balance of everything.

私は満足しています。
