- [Both] Hi.

- Come on.

- [Jennifer] So right as you enter the house,

the first place we have decorations

is right on this ledge right here.

This is where we store all

of our shoes and bags when we come in.

So over here we just have our little advent calendar.

This has little drawers.

You can pull them out and find a little treat in there.

We got this at Target this year

and we just have a few of these bottle brushes,

I love these 'cause they're white,

there's lots of glitter on there,

and then we just have a few little candles.

I put candles just about everywhere

because I love the light.

And then right behind the door,

I have this really fun wreath,

and this sign from Big Lots.

Moving over here, we have our school room and miss Lily.

Can you show us your big tree?

- [Lily] Yeah.

- [Jennifer] We have over four trees in this house

and this one is definitely the tallest and the oldest,

so this tree is definitely showing its age

but I really like to have one in this room,

because you can see the tree when you drive by the house

and I love to see the lights in the window.

So on here we just have a few decorations.

Mostly things that are not breakable,

that the kids have made over the years.

Here's Mckenzie's little plate she made in Kindergarten.

We have a lot of these type of

ornaments which were hand-made for us.

And we have one for all the years as we grew as a family.

- And check out these cool bubble lights.

- [Jennifer] Yep, these lights are so cool.

So there's Christmas tree number one.

Let me show you Christmas tree number two.

- It's over here.

- [Jennifer] Yes, this is what I like to call

Mommy's Christmas tree, because this is the one

that I've decorated just how I like it.

There's lots of white ornaments on there.

Nothing too breakable.

We have a nice snowflake at the top.

Now this actually is a new Christmas tree this year.

I wanted something bigger.

Doesn't quite touch the ceiling

but I really like this one

because it has these more life-like branches right here.

So Kenzie can you show us your favorite ornament?

- My favorite ornament is this Irish girl.

- [Jennifer] The Irish dancer, yeah.

I found her in Canada.

We visited Bam and I found her there.

I really like this one.

We got this one at Disney World this year.

What's your favorite ornament, miss?

- This one.

- [Jennifer] Oh, this one's from Disney Land, cute.

So now we'll show you the rest of the living room,

starting with these really cute snowflake pillows.

These are new this year.

I found these at Target.

We have one here.

You also have a cheaper pillow from the Target Dollar Spot.

Same thing over there.

Now we did actually recently paint this coffee table

and I definitely like it better white.

We have a little table runner on here from Target

and this little lantern from Walmart.

And then moving over here towards the

fireplace and TV section, up on

the mantle which we did paint recently,

I just have this garland with lots of lights

and these little candy ball things.

I really like those.

I have some candlesticks on either side.

Those are from Hobby Lobby.

And then every thing else is pretty much from Target.

This is from Target from last year and so is that one.

The little banner across the front is also from Target.

Over here in the corner, I have a big tree

and it's kind of hiding my cord,

so I can have lights up in there.

And then this little Santa guy

and this tree are both from Walmart.

Moving over here I have a little arrangement

with my red truck and my Christmas trees

and this truck comes in super handy

because we actually store our remotes in there.

Okay Lily, do you wanna show us the stockings?

- Yeah this one's mine, that one's Jack's,

that one's Kenzie's and that one's Griffin's.

- [Jennifer] Mhm, and for right now we just have

them up here with some command hooks from the Dollar Tree

but when Santa comes they'll be over there on the fireplace.

Above that I just have this Merry and Bright sign

that is from Walmart, and way up there,

I have a little arrangement from Michael's.

And way up there we have our mistletoe.

And then moving on to the dinning room.

This is pretty much how I'll have it set up on Christmas Day

but I will put one more table going this way

because we will be hosting the family here this year.

So I have my table runner from Target,

and just about everything else is from Walmart.

And then over here on this table,

the table itself is from Hobby Lobby,

the box down at the bottom is from Home Goods,

the pillows are from Walmart,

and this is where we keep our Cookies for Santa plate.

So on Christmas Eve, we'll put our cookies on there

and place it on the fireplace for him.

And I have to show you these little reindeer.

These were actually handed down from my mom.

I'm not quite sure where she got them

but they're definitely special because she gave them to me.

And I also have to point out this sign,

because my husband actually made this for me.

The ladies at my church were getting together

to make this craft and I just never had time to make it

so he made it for me and I love it.

- And this is our hot cocoa stand.

- [Jennifer] This is our new edition this year.

I got this three-tier tray at Hobby Lobby

and then I filled it up with everything

that we need for making hot cocoa.

And all, most of these containers either came

from the Dollar Tree or the Dollar Spot at Target.

So it was really affordable as well.

On this top one, we have a little Merry Christmas sign

and then in this shaker we have

a little bit of cocoa powder.

In this one we have some cinnamon.

And a little tea light.

These cute little snowman salt

and pepper shakers are from the Dollar Tree.

They are actually empty, because I don't

think we wanna put salt and pepper in our cocoa.

Do we?

- No.

- [Jennifer] That would be weird.

We also have some colorful straws back there.

In here we have some marshmallows.

We have some cups for the kids to use.

- Then we have some candy canes.

- [Jennifer] Yeah, lots of candy canes.

I love candy canes in my hot chocolate.

Just stick it in and swirl it around a little bit.

Over here we have more marshmallows.

I have just about two of every item.

- And then we have a bunch of candy.

- [Jennifer] Yep, at the bottom we have

this little Santa from the Target Dollar Spot.

In this jar, we have some peppermint bark

and it's so good if you stick it

down inside of hot chocolate.

I have two of these containers, full of hot cocoa mix.

We have some fun napkins and this little

container has some Hershey's Kisses

which a lot of them are missing now.

Did you girls eat those?

- [Both] Yes.

So yeah, there's the new hot cocoa stand,

I'm excited for this new tray because

I could decorate it for lots of different holidays

and just fits perfectly right there.

Over in this corner I just have a few candles.

Right now we're smelling the crushed candy cane,

which is so nice.

And in the opposite corner, I have

my little ceramic gingerbread house.

I like to put it here because it's totally protected.

It can't get knocked off the counter.

Okay girls, we need to show them

your bathroom and your bedroom.

Should we go?

- Yeah. - Okay.

- [Jennifer] Let's go.

- Here's our bathroom.

- [Jennifer] So we've transformed

this bathroom into a Christmas bathroom.

And just about everything in here came from Big Lots,

including the shower curtain with the

fun little snowmen on them, I love the plaid at the bottom.

The little mat says "just believe."

We have this really cute arrangement right over here.

- Here's our soap dispenser.

- [Jennifer] Yeah, he's a cute little snowman.

- We also have this little snowman.

- [Jennifer] Yep, I've had this one for a long time.

We have this little snowman picture on the wall.

And then we also have a cute little snowman hand towel.

So there's our snowman bathroom.

Should we show them your room now?

- [Both] Yeah!

- [Jennifer] So the big difference

in the girls' room this year is the Christmas tree.

Another new thing in the girls' room

this year is the Christmas bedding.

I found this at Target.

The girls both have Minnie, and

I'll show you the boys' later,

but I just love this really fun, Christmas-y

quilt-type material, it's really cute.

And the set was about thirty bucks.

So this white tree came from Walmart,

it was only about thirty bucks,

so it wasn't too bad at all.

You guys wanna show me your favorite ornament?

- [Both] Yeah!

- [Jennifer] Lily likes...

- [Lily] This teddy!

- [Jennifer] The baby Mckenzie ornament.

- [Mckenzie] This is my favorite.

- [Jennifer] There's a baby Mckenzie.

- [Mckenzie] I made some crazy faces when I was a baby,

when you took pictures.

- [Jennifer] Yeah, you did.

So this was the first year with a Christmas tree

in the kids' room, I think it turned out okay,

none of the ornaments got broken

and I think it's really cute.

- Here's the boys' room.

- [Jennifer] So they also got some Christmas bedding.

Jackson got the Mickey Mouse version.

It's so cute!

Griffin got the little crib-

- [Lily] And a Mickey!

- [Jennifer] Mhm, Griffin got the crib version.

Mickey on it.

And they also have a Christmas tree in their room.

This is just one of our old Christmas trees

that I had in the attic, and I

really like the color-changing balls on there.

So the kids got to decorate their own

Christmas tree in their own room.

But I'm not seeing very many on the boys' tree.
