-Yeah, it's pretty crazy. -But you added --

this is why I love, and I told you, the first movie too.

It's just unpredictable and you added so much

jam-packed comedy in there. -Yeah. It's a lot of fun.

-It's insane. -Yeah.

-But there's 15 minutes of more -- like, new material.

-We kind of have a different joke

for almost every moment of the movie, so it's weird --

when we released the DVD version or a home entertainment version,

we were allowed to kind of release an almost completely

new "Deadpool" film.

So, it's -- for us, it's been a blast

because we get to use all the jokes that we wished

we could have kept for the main movie, so...

-You said, like, the original -- this is back when,

I think, one was -- made, like, over a billion dollars.

And you were talking to me, like --

I go, "What's -- you got any ideas for the second one?"

You're like, "Yeah." What was it?

You didn't go with it. -Oh, it was -- no, no, no.

At the time, we were -- well, my first pitch

to the studio was not met very well.

I pitched them that Deadpool -- this is for the sequel --

that Deadpool would -- the whole story of the movie

would be Deadpool trying to steal the big red chair

from "The Voice." -That's right.

[ Laughter ] -And they were like...

-"No."

-"That's just the dumbest thing ever, so no."

-That was the whole idea of the movie.

-Yeah. But the second one, it was great.

'Cause, like, it was always fun to pitch to the studio,

'cause we have a whole sequence in the movie with --

with this team.

Deadpool builds a team, the X-Force.

And the studio was like, "Yes! Like, synergy, 'Avengers'!

"Like, that's what we're gonna get out of this.

It's gonna be great."

And I was like, "Yeah, they're all amazing.

"They're all, like, super huge stars.

"It's gonna be -- it's gonna be awesome.

Brad Pitt's going to do it."

And they were like, "Wait. Hold on. Back up.

Brad Pitt's gonna do this?" I was like, "Yeah.

Yeah, he's playing one of the characters."

They're like, "Which character?"

I was like, "He's gonna play -- he's gonna play Vanisher."

And they're like, "What's Vanisher's power?"

And I was like, "Well, he doesn't speak

and he's invisible." [ Laughter ]

And they were like...

-They're like, "Okay."

-"But why is Brad Pitt doing it?"

Oh, no. I was, I was like, "'Cause you see him," you know.

And they were like, "When do you see him?"

I was like, "You see him for a quarter of a second

when he's electrocuted to death."

[ Laughter ]

-And you did put -- that's in the movie?

-Yeah, it's in the movie.

He's in there for just a quarter of a second.

It's Brad Pitt. -It crushed in the theater.

-He's the Vanisher,

and he unfortunately dies by electrocution, yeah.

It's really -- really terrible. -I want to show a clip.
