  • - She thought she was dehydrated or had a migraine

  • and now she's just been throwing up.

  • It's miserable being sick.

  • - [Kendra] The leaning tower of fidget spinners.

  • (upbeat music)

  • Good morning, today is off to a great start.

  • It's kind of early, I can hear the birds chirping,

  • the sun is rising, I see the pretty mountains

  • and we are headed to my sister's house.

  • She and I are going to go running together this morning

  • and my parents are gonna watch the kids,

  • which is awesome.

  • Caleb, what's Papa doing this morning?

  • - He's putting in a wheel.

  • - [Kendra] He's changing a flat tire

  • on Marla's jogging stroller so that we can go jogging.

  • - That part is literally the part

  • that gets all the air in it.

  • - Yep. - You're right.

  • - [Kendra] Little fun fact, Papa used to work

  • at a bike shop.

  • - Yeah.

  • - [Kendra] So he knows all about bikes.

  • You guys pumping up the tires?

  • - Yep, just getting her all ready.

  • I set it up for a five minute mile.

  • - [Kendra] Oh good.

  • (Kendra laughs)

  • That'll work, a five minute mile.

  • - Yeah totally, that's what I was planning on.

  • - We just brought Janae.

  • She's pretty happy in there.

  • Grandma and Papa have all the other kids

  • at Marla's house,

  • - Woo hoo hoo hoo!

  • - which is awesome. - That's why we're running.

  • - And Jeremy is working today.

  • So I'm getting to play with my family

  • and enjoy this mountain air.

  • It's so funny like, I used to live here for so long,

  • so it feels kinda like home, but kinda not.

  • It's fun to be here.

  • - [Marla] Yeah, it's so pretty up here.

  • - Okay well I have to put down the camera,

  • because I have to go faster ahh.

  • - I'm magic.

  • - [Kendra] Are you magic?

  • (lively tropical music)

  • (laughing)

  • In the waterfall, that's fun.

  • Caleb are you behind it?

  • So now we are hitting up a park

  • with a bunch of cousins.

  • Well this splash pad is way cooler

  • than any of the splash pads that we have in the Midwest.

  • Check this out.

  • It's like a fountain and a river

  • that ends in a waterfall.

  • The kids are loving it.

  • (playful lively music)

  • - It's an island.

  • - [Kendra] Did you find an island?

  • - And another island.

  • - [Kendra] Sharing snacks.

  • Laura did you find some cousin friends?

  • - Yeah.

  • - Yeah, they're your age, huh?

  • Well this place is quite the hot spot, it is super crowded.

  • My dad just compared this to a moving Where's Waldo game.

  • That's a good description of parenthood at a park.

  • - We're doing racing.

  • - [Kendra] You gonna race that down the river?

  • - Yep.

  • I won.

  • - [Kendra] And you used that one?

  • Lounging and chatting.

  • - We're just having girl time.

  • - Girl time. - Yeah.

  • - So the splash play river is attached to a park.

  • (exciting playful music)

  • Caleb do you want your flip flops?

  • - I found a fidget spinner.

  • - [Kendra] So is it a climbing thing?

  • - Yeah.

  • - [Kendra] The leaning tower of fidget spinners.

  • You made it to the top.

  • You got it.

  • Hi, you hanging with Papa?

  • - Yay.

  • - So it's really awesome, my cousins have kids

  • that are close in age to my kids.

  • We actually have cousin twins,

  • one of them was born on the exact same day as Elise,

  • and then my cousin just had a baby around the same time

  • that I had Janae,

  • so we're trying to get the two of them together.

  • So this is my cousin's baby Emma,

  • and she's just a month different in age than Janae.

  • So it's so cute.

  • I love seeing little cousins that are close to the same age.

  • - Bye.

  • - [Kendra] Bye bye.

  • It's hard to say goodbye to cousins.

  • Goodbye.

  • - The last four hours have been miserable.

  • Kendra wasn't feeling well.

  • She thought she was dehydrated or had a migraine

  • and now she's just been throwing up.

  • And so she is sick.

  • We went and ran and got her some stuff

  • to try to help with the sickness,

  • and now we're gonna head out and give her

  • just some peace and quiet here being sick.

  • It's miserable being sick.

  • (tender music)

  • So I brought the kids up to BYU.

  • This is where Kendra and I met.

  • This is where I went to law school,

  • a lot of good memories here.

  • - That's where Daddy learned to become a lawyer.

  • - [Jeremy] Yep that's the law school over there.

  • - Hi.

  • - [Isaac] Where do we go first?

  • (lively playful music)

  • - It's amazing how walking around brings back

  • so many good memories.

  • - Wow.

  • - That's a spiral staircase, it's not a slide.

  • So this is where Kendra and I worked as janitors together.

  • It was in this building.

  • Every night we would come and clean the trash

  • and clean offices.

  • During that time we were so busy with jobs

  • and going to school, but it was one of the only times

  • that we had time together

  • and that was why we got the job.

  • Look at the fountain.

  • - Oh.

  • I think we should've brought our swim suits.

  • - What's this?

  • - [Isaac] What does it do?

  • - Is this the biggest bowl of china?

  • - [Jeremy] It's not a big bowl, it's a science thing.

  • What do you think all this?

  • You want to sit by Cosmo?

  • - I'm gonna sit on it.

  • (flushing toilet)

  • - Bathroom breaks are an event.

  • (laughing)

  • So I had just ordered everything and was needing

  • to pay and I couldn't find my wallet anywhere,

  • and I told the people at Subway

  • I was gonna have to go and find my wallet,

  • and then Caleb pointed out where my wallet was.

  • - It was in your hand.

  • - I was holding my wallet in my hand

  • and I couldn't find it.

  • It gets kinda crazy when you're trying

  • to watch five kids.

  • (tender lively music)

  • So Kendra's been in bed all afternoon and evening.

  • And she's sleeping right now.

  • She's feeling a little bit better,

  • but I'm hoping that she wakes up feeling a lot better.

  • So prayers for Kendra.

  • J House out.

  • - Hi.

  • - [Kendra] Don't touch anything.

  • (screaming)

  • - That part is scary.

  • - I just got gin rummy.

  • - [Kendra] Look at that!

  • - [Jeremy] You guys ready to check it out?

- She thought she was dehydrated or had a migraine
