Here we are. - Mom, why do you have a towel wrapped up? - [Kendra] Because I just washed my hair. - Uh. - [Kendra] Alright, what are you all up to? - I'm the dad. - We're snuggling. - [Kendra] Oh, you're the dad? - We're snuggling. - [Kendra] Oh, that's nice, who's the baby? - Laura. - I'm the baby. - [Kendra] You're the baby. I thought you were the kitty cat. - Meow. (laughs) - A spider web. - [Jeremy] Is there a spider web? - [Caleb] Yeah. - [Jeremy] Whoa. (country music) - Bye Dad. (screams) - [Kendra] What are you doing? (screams) - I don't know. - [Kendra] Who are you roaring at? What are you doing? - There's bunnies, two of them. - [Kendra] There's two of them bunnies? - (mumbles). - [Kendra] Oh you're right, they're right there. They're so cute. - (mumbles). Hi bunnies. (screams) - Our water heater has been slowly breaking to the point where we can only take super short showers. It's still a little bit warm for a little bit of time, so this morning I washed my hair with my head turned upside down in the bathtub with cold water so then I'd be able to jump in the shower and actually have warm water for a few minutes shower. Anyway, we need to get it fixed. We've just been living with it because-- - (Mumbles). - [Kendra] What are we getting ready to do? - Cooking. - Alright, so I got out all these things for the kids to invent their own recipe. They've been really excited and wanting to create their own thing, and so this is my effort to try to let them do that. We're making peanut butter balls. Everybody gets to make their own version. - (Mumbles). - [Kendra] Of peanut butter balls. (easy listening music) - Butter. - [Kendra] Yep, you've got peanut butter. - [Caleb] I (mumbles). - [Kendra] Whoa, you added cinnamon. You just going to town, big girl? - [Caleb] Yep, I (mumbles). - [Kendra] Laura asked for marshmallows and cereal. (easy listening music) - Now I can be on the kids cooking challenge because I'm practicing more. - [Kendra] Now we're rolling 'em into balls. - The almonds are not really sticking. - [Kendra] Roll it into a ball. - I make it. - [Kendra] You did. Alright Isaac, how's it going? - [Caleb] First can I eat my two? - [Kendra] Alright, here's his mixture and his peanut butter balls. - Mm, mine are good. - Mm. (children talking) - Messy but worth it. Alright, well I think that only took five or 10 minutes to clean up. I'm so impressed with the kids. They're growing up and actually getting to be really helpful, like Caleb pulled all the chairs away, and Elise swept it all up and Isaac helped Laura wash her hands and change her shirt, and I wiped off the table and before I knew it, it was clean, that's so exciting to see them being old enough to really contribute in meaningful ways, and that they wanted to do that, that they understood that we can only do these fun things when we help and work together. I'm like, yes, success or a successful moment. We just climbed in the car to go to piano lessons and our car stinks. I don't know what died in here. It's like ugh, ugh. - Maybe a mouse. - You think there's a mouse dead in this car? - [Laura] Yeah. - Hopefully not a mouse. Did we bring food? - (mumbles). - Yep. Hmm, time to clean the car. (easy listening music) - [Kendra] Alright, buddy, where are we headed? - To the doctor. - [Kendra] What are they gonna do? - Take out my stitches. - [Kendra] Alright, Cubby, this way now. You're doing a good job, you're growing big. - This isn't gonna hurt, buddy. Good job. - Being so brave, Caleb. - [Nurse] Good job. - That was one of 'em, so she cuts it and then she pulls it out. - [Nurse] There it is. - (Mumbles). - [Nurse] There's another one. - [Kendra] What do you think? - [Nurse] What kind of stickers are gonna be your favorite, you think? - [Caleb] Spiderman. - [Nurse] Spiderman, is he your favorite? - Yeah. - [Kendra] Whoa, she said it's healing really well. - Why do you not have your band-aid anymore? - [Kendra] The other nurse is gonna come in and put some ointment on it and you're gonna get a new band-aid. - What's ointment? - [Kendra] Ointment is a little creme that helps it be healthy. - All they did was use the tweezers and scissors. I just hear snips. - [Nurse] You're the coolest kid I know. - Yeah. (laughs) - [Nurse] I know a lot of cool kids. - [Kendra] Caleb, what'd you get? - Free ice cream from Sonic. - What? We're gonna have to go eat ice cream. Got it. (laughs) We're gonna need some napkins. Poll question of the day, do you prefer your ice cream in a cone or in a bowl? Personally I prefer mine in a bowl because it's just cleaner, and I don't like the taste of the cone unless it's an amazing gourmet waffle cone or something like that. Do you like a bowl or a cone better? - Cone. - [Kendra] Why do you like a cone better? - Because you can lick it, and it takes a long time. - [Kendra] He likes the licking. (laughs) - Knock knock. - [Kendra] Who's there? - Boo. - [Kendra] Boo who? - Don't cry, it's just a joke. (laughs) - So all the way home he's been telling me knock knock jokes, and it's hilarious. I love it. In the comments below, let us know what your favorite knock knock joke is because we've been really enjoying our knock knock jokes over here. - Smell it, smell it. (suspense music) - Look at that. Jeremy, are you trying to get some hail? - Look at it. - (mumbles). After the hail, comes the sunshine. - [Child] There's hail everywhere. Everywhere. - Alright, we're keeping dinner easy tonight with Papa Murphy's, yum. Thanks. - [Cashier ] No problem, have a nice day. - [Kendra] Thanks, you too. Lisi. - [Kendra] Come on, big girl. Let's go. Alright, so each of the kids made their own peanut butter ball and now Jeremy gets to be the official taste tester. - This is a good job. - This is a good job. - I like this. - I wanna do it. - Alright. - Should I start with Caleb's? - [Kendra] Apparently Caleb's going first. - You can eat the whole thing. - Surprise crunch. - What do you like about it? - [Isaac] Yeah, he said his would be the crunchiest. - I really like the marshmallows in with the peanut butter ball, because you don't normally get that soft gooey texture. - (Mumbles), you want try mommy's? - You want me to try yours. - [Kendra] That one's mommy's. - Is this really yours? - [Kendra] That's really mine. - I like the crunchy. - [Caleb] (mumbles) mine. - It's not as sweet. - [Kendra] I didn't over sweeten it. Mine has cream cheese, it's supposed to be more like a cream cheese. - This is Laura's ball (laughs). - [Kendra] Laura really made it on her own. (coughs) - Did you cough on this one. (laughs) I see a raisin, which I'm kind of excited about. - [Kendra] Laura did you do it? - Yes. - [Kendra] Is daddy eating the ball you made? - I really like it. The raisin gives it a sweet juiciness and combined with the Kix puffy crunchiness, it's a really good peanut butter ball. - [Kendra] Laura, you did it. Yeah. - This one looks very smooth. - I know, I did it. - I like the smoothness. - She rolled all of hers very nicely. - [Jeremy] Mmm. - I think you are gonna like mine. Did you taste that sweetness? (laughs) That sugar. - Mm, it's sweet and it has the marshmallows and chocolate. I love it. - [Kendra] Good job. - Thanks. - Isaac's is last. - That one is probably really sweet because I got four pours of powdered sugar, but I stirred it up really well. - [Kendra] He did a really great job of blending things in. - Alright. I'm just realizing, did you guys prank me by putting bugs in here or something? - [Kendra] Oh, we should have pranked him. - (mumbles) no bugs. - No bugs. - Mine's really liquidy. I didn't put anything. - Good bye bugs. - [Isaac] The only crunchy thing-- - Yours is very simple, and I like that. I can see the sprinkles inside just for a little touch of happiness. Here are the awards. For the fruitiest peanut butter ball, the winner is Laura. (applause) - Yeah. - The sweetest, softest, simplest one, Isaac. (applause) - [Kendra] Good job. - Funnest texture extravaganza, Caleb. (applause) Prettiest looking ball of them all, Elise. (applause) - Real rewards that you actually got to do something. - These are real rewards, okay. The committee voted on 'em. - And mommy. - Mom, and mommy's award, and mommy was the hottest chef, whoo. (applause) (gentle guitar music) - [Caleb] Good night. J House out. - [Jeremy] You look so cute. First dress rehearsal tonight.
