字幕表 動画を再生する 英語字幕をプリント The inhumane treatment of animals, which is clear, first of all let's go to the lower sphere. Clearly we have evolved as omnivores and there's a high propensity for people to still engage in eating meat as it has been the case historically as in the course of our evolution. I do believe that over the course of time humans will see numerous reasons not to eat meat at all. I'm not advocating vegetarianism based on principle, I think it's more environmentally friendly, I think it's more sustainable and it's actually more healthy in many ways. But when you break it down to where we are now, this industry is brutal, man, we're doing all sorts crazy things to keep meat and these goods moving, hormones and everything else, disease, mono cultures that are used to feed all the cattle that are destroying the land, the causality unbelievable. So, in that regard, you have to blame the system as far as the inhumane treatment. When you go to an indigenous tribe that actually values the death of an animal before it eats it, you see this, that's like almost a pleasant ritual, might not be the greatest thing. I would prefer to photosynthesize sunlight, but I can't. You know, I would love to be able to photosynthesize sunlight and not hurt any form of life, but I can't, so we're stuck in a particular evolutionary paradigm. I don't criticize that, I criticize the market for being absolutely indifferent to life, because that's what it does in its common execution of industry.
