For me,the school is only provide a place to study

I felt London is a difference place

London is a big city

The day after my arrival is Xmas

They don't have trasportation on Xmas

I have to walk about 2hrs

How do you think about the photos after developing

I used an instamatic

I couldn't use a expensive one

Afraid of being smashed

That instamatic costs 10 pounds for one time

The definition is alright

Street snap doesn't concern about the definition

if we calculate from the time I use negatives

I observe people in this process

or normal people

I'm interested in their outfits or anything elses

Actually all of my projects are still ongoing

since the week before last week

What are the themes you have worked on?

My stuff is generally in experimental exploring

one of my project is human's back

from my classmates or students

They are not mature works

I'm still trying to break through this year

And for the immigrants

'Cause my best foreign friend in France is a turk

he treats me like his bro

Through his relations,we go out

and I also lived with him for a long time

We pray together

so I can understand a bit of his culture

And knowing some turks from him

or turkish immigrants born in France

I'm interested in their culture

so I began with turks

to make this project

Many photographers have the same theme in their time

In our time,there are more 2nd generation of immigrants

so that will be an issue for now

We're in a global village

the marriage (of different countries) or elses are nomal

The issue of 2nd or 3rd generation of the immigrants is important

so I want to discuss some problems in this project

through photography

the observation between people from two different country as an outsider

For me,turkey is a different country

France is also different

I'm wondering how these two merge together

If I work on Taiwanese

then I'm not an outsider

I will block my vision without notice

so if I stand in a position of third party

I may easily find out sth they didn't notice before

It will be a better explanation for me

The audiences are also outsiders

It's hard to define

only if you show your own culture

maybe not culture,it's yourself

Human are the same

but everyone got different experiences

only if you show this in your works

you will success once they accept this

Recent yrs in France

when I started to work on photography

Taiwan also has the trend of negatives

Many people into it

including China

The new generation of photographer

including Kechun Zhang

who won the discovery award of Arles this year

He also used negatives

Many photographers use negatives now

The mainly reason to use negatives is

in the very beginning of my digital experience

The camera on mobile is not very good

The definition is low

Photography is still a professional stuff for me

I could take pics which are very different to public with SLR

But now,the mobile can even achieve the level of SLR

It can be compared to digital camera

so it's important to find out the joy of photography

or we can just use the mobiles

I found negatives bring more photographic joy

or to express the meaning of photography

I found this out through negatives

When I'm doing the developping or press the button

It's a joy and also my expression of photography

My collection

I don't feel like a collector

Mostly of my collection is for pratical use

I treat myself as photophile not a photographer

'Cause I still have equipement enthusiasm

like many photophiles do

In the beginning,I used a camera from east germany which is not so good

I wanna change for a better one when working for a while

It's nice to have many flea markets in france

or photographic exhibitions you can find some cameras there

a cheap price with a nice camera

I buy sth good but actually I don't mind

if it has to be a good equipement
