Little Red Riding Hood 『あかずきん』

This is Little Red Riding Hood.

This is Little Red Riding Hood. あかい　ずきんを　かぶった　おんなのこが　いました。

But everyone calls her ‘Red’.

She always wears a pretty red cape.

“Where does your Grandma live?” 「おばあさんは　どこに　すんでいるの？」

“Oh, yes. She is all alone.”

“Oh, yes. She is all alone.” 「ええ、　おばあさんは　ひとりで　くらしているのよ。」

“Pick some flowers for her.”

“Pick some flowers for her.” 「おばあさんの　ために　はなを　つんでいきなよ。」

“She’ll like that,”

“She’ll like that,” 「おばあさんも　きっと　よろこぶから。」

says the wolf.

says Red.

“Grandma, your ears are so big!”

“Grandma, your ears are so big!” 「おばあさん、　おみみが　おおきいのね！」

says Red.

says Red.

The wolf jumps up! オオカミが　とびあがりました！

He runs toward Red.

He runs toward Red. オオカミは　あかずきんに　むかって　はしってきます。

The wolf has such sharp teeth and claws.

Red is so scared.

Suddenly, Grandma arrives.
