Well it all started out pretty bad.

まあ.........最初はかなり悪かったんだけどね。

As a baby, I lost Mum and Dad.

See, the Dark Lord called Voldemort wanted me dead or I'd grow up to kill him instead.

So he came to our hideout one night.

And my parents put up quite a fight.

両親はかなりの抵抗をした

But it all was in vain, both my parents were slain.

Then he came up to me, just a baby alone.

And he didn't foresee, well he couldn't have known!

That his magic would fail and destroy him instead

"Oh, well didn't you know? You're a wizard Harry!"

And from that little moment on I would be free

Now began the best years that I've had

Though I often was naughty and bad

I can solemnly swear I was up to no good.

I met two of my best friends for life

And who knew?! Now they're husband and wife

I played Quidditch on brooms, we explored secret rooms

クィディッチで遊んだよ。ほうきで秘密の部屋を探検した。

Learned as much as we possibly could

できるだけ多くのことを学んだ

There were so many things to be done

しなければならないことがたくさんあった

Though they weren't always jolly and fun

いつも陽気で楽しいわけではなかったが

At the end of each year, the Dark Lord would appear

毎年年末になると 闇の帝王が現れて

and attempt to regain all his might

力を取り戻そうとする

Through a Sorcerers Stone, or a book

魔術師の石を通したり、本を読んだりして

He kept going, whatever it took

彼は何があっても進み続けた

When the Goblet of Fire worked just as desired

炎のゴブレットが希望通りに機能したとき

He finally came back to the light!

ついに光の元に戻ってきた!

Then we fought to the end

そして最後まで戦った

I lost so many friends

多くの友人を失った

They were all so much braver than me

みんな私よりずっと勇敢だった

But I did what I could, I stood up for the good

しかし、私はできることをした。私は善のために立ち上がった。

And fulfilled the prophecy

そして預言を成就させた。

Then I married the girl of my dreams

それから私は運命の人と結婚した

I think we make an excellent team

私たちは素晴らしいチームになると思います

We are raising our three darling children

愛する3人の子供たちを育てています

that we named for people we loved and we lost

亡き人の名を冠した

Now I often look back on those years

今ではよくあの頃を振り返っています

With a smile, but also with tears

Though I'm sure that the future will bring something new

これからの時代はきっと新しいものが出てくると思いますが

A new evil to fight, a new story to tell

戦うべき新たな悪、語るべき新たな物語

Ten more chapters to write, and more novels to sell

あと10章書けば小説が売れる

Ten more movies to make, and more theme parks to build

あと10本の映画を作って、もっとテーマパークを作って

Crazy records to break, the whole world will be thrilled!
